Food Hunt: Restoran Lou Wong Tauge Ayam Kuetiau (老黄芽菜鸡沙河粉)

Good Evening,

Welcome back to yet another edition of the food hunt back here in Ipoh. After an afternoon lunch at Foh San, we were out on town again during dinner time and this time we have chosen Lou Wong Chicken Bean Sprout Restaurant as our choice for today. It has been a very long time that we did not have dinner over here and today we've decided to go for it since in those dine -in restaurants were all fully booked in conjunction with mothers day.

We arrived at about 7.30pm and there were very less people at that time is also due to heavy rain just stop just now. After we sat down, we managed to order the food that we wanted to eat. We got served in less than a minute and it was perfect. We've ordered Chicken, Bean Sprout, Fish Balls and Kueytiau mee. Barley Jagung and Sour Plum is our choice for drinks today.

Let's go straight to the food comments. The bean sprout was very nice indeed and it looks big. I guess you won't find those in Kuala Lumpur or Penang. The taste was superb and nice. Meanwhile today's white chicken looks tasty and delicious. The chicken is very smooth indeed and once you put into your mouth, you can feel the tastiness of the chicken. A very recommended dishes for you, your friends and your family. You can also ordered fish balls as your meal as well. I can tell you is the fish balls were also very fresh and tasty as well. You can order this as well. The kuetiau mee also taste nice and sweet. The soup is purely marinated using the prawn as well and that's why you can feel the sweetness of the soup. You should give it a try instead of the chicken rice.

The price is pretty reasonable as well. It's not too expensive nor cheap and the bill came it's RM32.00 for 4 persons meal. This restaurant is also well-known for its popularity until Hong Kong where many artists who came here for shooting will definately never miss a chance to try out the taugeh chicken over here. A very recommended place for you to try out the food over here. :) MY RATING: 5/5 ; MY FAMILY RATING: 5/5
