Leisure: My Birthday Present

Thank You!

That's the word that I wanted to say to my beloved darling Kimmy Chung for giving me the precious birthday present which is pretty great and amazing. I was shocked and happy to receive this present as I would never expect Kimmy to give me this. It was a jar of candy from Sticky. (Kindly see pictures above).

Now I would like to rate this candy. It's the only outlet in Malaysia that you can find at the moment and it's located at 1 Utama Shopping Complex. The candy was totally amazing as it was traditionally made by hands yummy candies. The candies especially blackurrent, lime and mint were those candies which is nice that I've tried. It was so nice and so special that this candy was made. It's not sweet though and just nice to consume and I am sure the sugar level of this candy is extremely low too. If you are at 1 Utama, remember to visit Sticky Candy located at Lower Ground Floor Old Wing there as they sells lots of varieties of hands made candies. Recommended to all of you! MY RATING: 5/5

Food Hunt: D' Fortune Western Cuisine & Cafe, Bandar Manjarala

Hi All,

Welcome back to yet another edition of Food Hunt. Today it's my 29th Birthday and of course ME & Kimmy had selected a place for a fine dine in back here in Kepong. We did not take leave today as both of us are working. We only meet up at night for dinner.

I have selected D' Fortune Western Cuisine & Cafe as our dining place for my birthday. Since I am given a choice, I have chosen to ate Western Food. We arrived at the restaurant at about 8.15pm and there's a place for us to sit down as the restaurant is pretty crowded with the allocated seats almost filled up with people. Then immedietely the waitress brought us the menu and then we looked at the menu. It tooks us about 5 minutes to look at the menu and we had decided what to eat. I've ordered Grilled Chicken Chop with Brown Sauce while Kimmy ordered Black Pepper Chicken Chop. For our drinks, I've ordered Watermelon Juice (RM3.80) while Kimmy ordered Honey Dew Juice (RM3.80). We did served with the Fortune Cookies (FREE) and we had Mushroom Soup as our dessert as well.

The food arrived very fast and above our expectations. We did not expect it to come so fast as there's a lot of people and the service was really great too. High 5 to their service to customers. Let's go straight to the food comments. First is about the mushroom soup (RM5.50). It was great and nice and the taste is just nice. I would recommend you to try out the Mushroom Soup. For the Black Pepper Chicken Chop (RM13.90) that was ordered by Kimmy, the taste was good too. The black pepper taste was there and it was amazing according to Kimmy. For my Grilled Chicken Chop with Brown Sauce (RM13.90), it was above average. I think there's still room for improvement for this dish. The taste was nice but not the best. But still, the taste is nice and I would also recommend you to try this out. For our drinks, it's totally fresh juice and it's nice. Recommended to you guys too.

The price meanwhile was reasonable too. It costs us about RM39.50 including tax and it was jus t nice as it was not expensive and not cheap too. The price is just average and if you would love to have Western Food, this place is the best for you to try out when you are somewhere in Bandar Manjarala, Kepong. Enjoy! MY RATING: 4/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 4/5

*Food rating is based on the food we've ordered and not overall food.

Leisure: House Of Joy, Bandar Kinrara Puchong

Hi All,

This column is special dedicated to my current company TFP Solutions Berhad for adopting a House Of Joy homes for those kids or adults who are slow learners and they need our help too. I am here since 12.00pm to setup the opening ceremony of the House Of Joy as well as its Computer Lab. To witness the opening ceremony, the TFP Group had invited YB Teresa Kok as the Guest Of Honour to witness and open the computer lab as well as the home as well.

Then YB Teresa Kok was given a tour by our Managing Director Alex Lim around the House Of Joy and then proceed to the main hall for her full speech. She gave a good speech and so meaningful where we are touched by the YB Teresa Kok precious words and she was so caring to the kids as well. Then there are several ceremonies including the handling of flowers and gifts to YB Teresa Kok as a token of appreciation for her kindness to come and witness the ceremony. Salute to you YB Teresa Kok. :) In the meantime, I will be on newspaper as well (Sin Chew, Nanyang & New Straits Times) as I helped my Managing Director & YB Teresa Kok to join hands together to hold the shirts to be donated to the House Of Joy. Attached also is the YB Teresa Kok short video speech during the opening ceremony.

In the House Of Joy, there are about 60 kids living inside the homes with some having disabilities such as slow learner, orphanage kids and many others. If you want to help them, you may also do so by donating your old unwanted items or in terms of cash are also welcomed. You may find the Address and Telephone number below. Remember, by doing charity, you can save a life and you will be blessed. You may look for Leslie Mah (019-3392847) for more information.

Food Hunt: Sushi King, Jusco Metro Prima, Kepong

Hey folks,

After a short trip to Genting Highlands and a dissapointing trip up there, we have decided to leave the place as earlist possible and head down back to Kepong to eat Sushi for today. We have decided to stop over at Sushi King at Jusco Metro Prima in Kepong.

We reach there around 6.45pm and that time there are many places to sit. We got served immedietely when we sat down and we were looking for the menu as well. We've ordered a couple of plates of Sushi and for main course as well. I've ordered the Tori Miso Yaki Don while Kimmy ordered Potato Salad. My Tori Miso Yaki Don (RM12.50) was superb and nice. The taste was just nice and great to consume and it's not too sweet nor too plain. It comes with the Miso soup and the Miso soup was great too. I would recommend you to try it out as well. Kindly see pictures. For Kimmy's Potato Salad, it was very bad and not nice. It was tasteless and not nice at all. DO NOT ORDER this Potato Salad in Sushi King advised by Kimmy. We had Green Tea for our drinks.

There's some sushi's to recommend to you including California Temaki, Unagi Temaki as well a new sushi that I've tried today which is the Salad Yam Maki (RM4.00) which is very special and nice too. I would recommend you to try out the Salad Yam Maki as it was nice too. Kindly see pictures. The price meanwhile was reasonable and it's about the price too. A meal would costs us RM44.00 plus tax and it was just reasonable. Overall, we are satisfied with the sushi's and main course that've ordered except the Potato Salad. MY RATING: 5/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 4/5

*Rating is based on the food we've ordered and not overall food.

Leisure: Short Trip to Genting Highlands

Hi all,
Today is a beautiful Sunday and of course ME & Kimmy had decided to go for a simple yet cooling walk off the city. We have decided to go to Genting Highlands, City Of Entertainment. We had spend about 2 hours walking there and look around what's installed for us.

It doesn't turned beautiful for us as it rained throughout our journey and we did not manage to walk outside the park here. We can only concentrate on walking the inner part of the hotel. We did walk pass all of the hotels and found nothing special in it. It was a dissapointment for us after reaching Genting Highlands due to the bad weather. We only spend 2 hours plus there and we did not step in the casino as well because no money lah! Salary not out yet! Hoho! Just enjoy the photos.
