Synopsis

Although individuals in love seldom coincide with each other in terms of happiness, anger, sorrow or joy, they still comply with the laws of nature, reflecting the dynamic phenomena of the four seasons’ climate and temperature.

Spring: By chance, LAM CHUN-FUN (Toby Leung) becomes an assistant/driver for the most sought-after actor SZE SUN (Him Law). Thinking that he is just like those playboys featured in the gossip magazines, she gradually comes to realize his true personality after the two spent some time together. The two fall in love with each other during filming, but CHUN-FUN discovers it is merely pre-arranged by the talent manager. The belated first love is ended before it can even begin.

Summer: HA CHI-YAN (Kate Tsui), the most bankable TV producer, has drawn criticism from the social activists after making a female-oriented programme. Seeking to uphold her reputation, she is assigned as the leading role of a new dating game show. Winter: Private detective CHU CHO-AN (Kenneth Ma) is entrusted by his client YIU TUNG-NEI (Myolie Wu) to trace the history of a decade-old receipt, during which, CHO-AN learns about some flashback segments in TUNG-NEI’s memory of being with another male. According to his investigation, TUNG-NEI has suffered a serious injury, and her memory loss might be romance related. Food Hunt: Pasta Zanmai, Tropicana City Mall, Petaling Jaya

Welcome back to yet another edition of the Food Hunt and this time around ME & Kimmy had continued our journey to find good food and we have chosen Pasta Zanmai as our destination for our dinner today. We reached the restaurant at around 7.00pm and the crowd is pretty less at the restaurant. We managed to get our seats and then we were then served by the waitress over there. We browse through the menu to see what we can eat and we have chosen the following:

1.) Unagi Paella (RM23.00)
2.) Mini Salmon Cream Pasta + Mini Ham Pizza (RM25.00)
3.) Green Tea (1 Jug) (RM3.00) (Refillable)

We did not wait very long for the food to arrive and here's the food review. The Unagi Paella that was ordered by Kimmy is very very nice. The Unagi is very fresh and most importantly the rice is very nice and special as it contains butter. You should try this and recommended too. I've ordered the mini set that comes with 2 mini main course. The Mini Salmon Cream Pasta is nice and creamy too and it's recommended to try as well. The Mini Ham Pizza is also nice and they are not stingy as the ingredients given a lot and it's worth of every penny too. You should try each and every of their mini set as it's worth the money. The green tea is pretty special as it serves as per jug (cold) or teapot (hot) and it costs RM3.00 for a maximum of 3 persons. If you have 1-2 persons, they still charged you with RM3.00.

The price we pay is worth of every penny because the quality of the food as well as the quantity of the food. We pay RM59.15 for the total bill including the 10% Service Charge and 6% Government Tax. The portion is above average to huge depending on what set your order. The mini set is not too small and it's standard too and if you take the mini set, you are paying 2 mini main course into 1 price. A great place to hang out with friends, for business or family outings, it promises to serves good food to its customers and they have done it. A big recommendation from me to all of you. Enjoy! Synopsis:

The Wedding Diary 2 picks up two years after the marriage of Wei Jie (Aniu) and Zhixin (Elanne), when they welcome a new and unexpected addition to their family. However, all is not well for Wei Jie`s in-laws when Zhixin`s father, Colin (Jack Choo) suffers a stroke, which puts a strain on the couple`s relationship as Zhixin has to step up to handle her father`s business and at the same time, ensure that her mother (Kara Hui) does not fall into depression and anxiety due to her husband`s condition.

My Comments: Today is our movie day again and our destination is at GSC Tropicana City Mall today. After that first episode of The Wedding Diary previously where I gave 5/5 (PERFECT) as it was a great movie and now comes the 2nd chapter and that would be The Wedding Diary 2. Starring the same old actor and actress including Aniu, Elanne Kwong, Kara Hui and many more, surprisingly this movie did not degrade and it's getting better. This movie is simply a perfect movie to watch as it talks about our current life and how to take care of babies after you get married. The plot is superb and the storyline is good to watch too based on Singapore and Malaysia standard. The jokes are aplenty and I tell you I did laugh most of the time during the movie and it's very entertaining too. Of course, they speak broken English too and how it relate English with Chinese and it's very funny indeed. Storyline talkes about Aniu & Ellane Kwong, whom already get married for 2 years and now they have a baby and how they take care of their babies and the story continues. Aniu and Elanne Kwong performed very well on this movie and they have improved tremendously. This is a great movie to watch and I would strongly recommend you to watch this movie if you have not and have a great laugh. MY RATING: 5/5 (PERFECT) ; KIMMY RATING: 5/5

Leisure: Valentines Day 2013 (Proposal Successful)

Hello everyone,

I'm back once again and this year ME & Kimmy had delayed our Valentines Day to be celebrated today 23rd February 2013 and not 14th February because of Chinese New Year Holidays and I am not in Kuala Lumpur that time. It was the most special and most memorable Valentines Day of all time for both of us. Why? Stay tuned to find out below.

I labelled this Valentines Day as the most memorable ones because I have bought 3 special presents to Kimmy which includes a bouquet of flowers, a medium sized teddy bear and of course an engagement ring. Kimmy bought me a watch in exchange with our Valentines Day present. Yes, as I said earlier that we have the most memorable Valentines Day this year as I have eventually proposed to Kimmy regarding our marriage and she agreed after thinking for like 20 seconds before she answered YES.

Before I proposed, I was pretty nervous and afraid that she will not accept me but it was very smooth sailing and as I said earlier it took only 20 seconds for her to say YES. After that I was so happy and I gave her a hug and a kiss in appreciation that she had accepted me. Now, my mission is to ensure her safety and would like to take care of her for the rest of my life. Our ROM date is yet to determined and we planned to have it this year itself. For the actual traditional Chinese Wedding, we plan to have it next year but everything is still ongoing and there's no confirmation just yet. Will post it later. Stay tuned to our blog.

That's it for our Valentines Day Celebration this year and frankly among all the Valentines Day we celebrated, this year is the most unforgettable and the most memorable one. We hope in years to come, our Valentines Day would be as good as previous years. That wrapped up our Valentines Story for the year 2013.

Food & Gathering: Silver Spoon, Publika Shopping Gallery, Kuala Lumpur

Welcome back to yet another edition of  Food & Gathering and since it's still the Chinese New Year season, our KTC Group had gathered together to eat and also to interact among each others after some time we did not catch up. This time around, our lovely organizer Yen Peng had organized this event and we have voted where we should go and finally Silver Spoon is our choice. Normally the gatherings are held during the weekends but unfortunately this year we have to do it during the weekdays because most of us unable to make it during the weekends period.

Among the attendees for this gathering including Yen Peng, May Low, Sai Kit, Chloe, Kimmy, Me & Yen Nee. We had a great time but I arrived the most late because of the bad traffic conditions on the road and I am 45 minutes late from the original set time 8.00pm. The restaurant was not so packed and we can see many foreigners dine inside that restaurant. It's a Western Theme restaurant and just to let you know this place is very cozy and the atmosphere is great and romantic too if you are here for a date.

Among the food we ordered including lamb chops, chicken chops, pasta, salad and pizzas. For starters, they've ordered the Caesar Salad which includes the Fresh Romaine Lettuce with Creamy Caesar Dressing, Topped With Poached Egg, Croutons, Crispy Beef Bacon & Shaved Parmesan. They told alexleow-kimmy.com that the Salad is good and is a recommended try. For Kimmy, she ordered the Chicken Parmigiana Chop and she said just so-so and not suits her taste but for ME, I love the taste very much. I would totally recommend this dishes. Others such as Sai Kit & Chloe both ordered lamb chops while Yen Nee, ME and May Low ordered the pasta. The pizza is shared among ours and it's nice too.

Overall, the food is nice and it's very recommended to you all. In the review, I did not eventually introduced the food thoroughly because this is the Food & Gathering session. But definitely I will make another return to this restaurant as the food is delicious and nice too. Oh yea! Forgot to tell you that it's very pricey and expensive because this is truly fine dining style. But once in a while it's fine unless you are very rich :). Just imagine we ordered 6 main course, 1 pizza and 1 salad as starters and it costs about RM330.00++. Food Hunt: Burger Bakar Kaw Kaw, Mayang Oasis, Taman Mayang, Petaling Jaya

Welcome back to yet another edition of Food Hunt and today ME & Alan had visited Burger Bakar Kaw Kaw located at Mayang Oasis Food Court in Taman Mayang, Petaling Jaya. We find out this restaurant for quite some time already but we have not tried yet until today. We reached the restaurant at around 8.30pm and the crowd is there as many of them sat down while waiting for their Burger Bakar to be served. We look at the big menu that was displayed in front of the restaurant and determine what to eat. By looking at the price, we've decided to go for the most expensive ones and both of us have "Triple Chicken Turkeynizer" (RM21.50) in which 3 pieces of Fried Chicken was then fried into perfection and then wrapped together with the burger bread and in between there's some vegetables and 1 piece of cheese. You can also choose Double (RM16.50) or Single (RM11.50) as well besides the triple size.

We have to wait for about 15 minutes before the burgers were served as we have to wait for about 20 people in which are queuing for the burgers as well. To my consent, I was shocked to see the size of the burger. It was out of my expectation and I am thinking how am I going to eat it? Not because I could not finish it but how can I put it into my mouth? In the end, both of us have to eat the burgers separately step by step because we could not put the whole thing into our mouth. This I think would easily killed off the burger taste as we did not manage to eat together. We have to eat the chicken and bread separately until it becomes a single size and till then we are able to put the whole burger into our mouth. Now comes the taste of the burgers. I would say it's good but it's not so special about it except the size of the burger. The chicken is perfectly fried as well as the slices of turkey but they are stingy in giving the vegetables and cheese as it's very less only.

For the price we pay RM21.50 for 1 triple Chicken Turkeynizer burger, I would say it's very expensive but if they charge around RM12.00 to RM15.00 I would say it's reasonable. They only served Fried Chicken instead of other flavour of chicken and it's normal. I would recommend you to go for either single or double size and triple is too much and if you eat too many chicken (3 pieces) in 1 go, you will feel that you want to puke. Anyway, not only they are selling chicken burgers but they do also sell beef burgers and they claimed that their specialty is the beef burgers. Well, I will definately go and try out their beef burgers during my next visit. Burger Bakar Kaw Kaw has many branches including this one and their Main HQ would be at Wangsa Maju Seksyen 2. I would recommend you to come and try it and best still if you are a truly burger lovers, you should try this burgers. I would say it's not the best but it's good overall. Food Hunt: Sushi Zanmai, Paradigm Mall, Kelana Jaya

Welcome back to yet another edition of Food Hunt.and this time we bring you over to Paradigm Mall to have a try on Sushi Zanmai. We reached the restaurant at around 7.45pm and the crowd started to build up and we have to queue up to find our place. Fortunately, we manage to find a place after queuing for about 10 minutes and this is weekdays. During weekends, it would be difficult as the queue is long and you have to wait a bit longer.

We were then shown to our seats and then were immedietely served with the menu. We browse through the menu and then look what food we wanted to eat. Apparently the menu selection is like the same like the other sushi chain restaurant like Sakae Sushi or Sushi King and nothing so special about it. Here's what we've ordered and we both shared the food and it's more than enough for our meal.

3.) Inari Crab Sushi (RM6.80)

5.) Egg Mayonnaise Sushi (RM2.80)

It does not take very long for the food to arrive and some food we take from the sushi belt. Let's gp straight to the food reviews now. The Chicken Katsu Curry is a curry rice type that comes with fried chicken. Firstly when you started to eat, it was good but while you ate it a few times later, you will feel that you want to puke. This is because of the curry which is not spicy but a bit sweet and the flavour is something like you eat maggi mee with curry powder. Just so-so for this dish. Meanwhile the California Temaki is also just so-so and not so tempting. The portion is quite huge but the rice is not tasty enough. The Inari Crab sushi is pretty special and it's tasty. You should order this sushi. The Kaisen Nabe is a mini steamboat set that comes with different types of steamboat ingredients such as fish, melon, tofu, vegetables etc. You can even shared with 2 persons. The soup is nice and tasty. You can also try this too. The Egg Mayonnaise Sushi is also very nice and tasty.

The food overall is tasty except the Chicken Katsu Curry which I think is pretty puke when you try to eat it a few times due to the curry sauce. My Comments: Today both of us are on leave and therefore we have taken this golden opportunity to continue to watch the Chinese New Year movies. This time around, we have chosen Paradigm Mall as our choice and of course GSC Paradigm Mall as our choice. This time around, we have chosen to watch I Love Hong Kong 2013 movie. This movie is definitely a star studded movie as it features tonnes of TVB artists from Alan Tam, Veronica Yip, Natalis Chan, Eric Tsang, Stanley Fung, Bosco Wong, Michael Tse, Kate Tsui, Joyce Cheng and many more (just to name a few). This movie talks about a story of a restaurant owner whose changing hands several times because of debts and how they help each other in securing back the restaurant without other bad parties taking over. This movie can be considered as moderate this year as I could see the jokes are pretty funny especially when they make fun of the English words but other than that, the jokes are just normal and nothing special about it. The storyline is very meaningful and I learned some good moral values from this movie such as "If You Help People, You Will Get Good In Return.". Kate Tsui, Bosco Wong and Michael Tse is the main actor and actress in this movie and their acting is good. I would not say that this movie is really funny but there's something to laugh for especially when they speak broken English and that would definitely laugh out loud. The theme of this movie features a 1970's costume theme and it was pretty good too. 

Compared to last year, I Love Hong Kong is not as good as last year and I still prefer the last year production than this year as it contains more jokes that would support the movie very much especially when you watch it during Chinese New Year where we want laughter and happiness. However, I would say it's above average and it's still worth of watching but do not put a high expectation on this movie. Enjoy! MY RATING: 4/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 3.5/5

Brand new “Hundred Stars Hotel” is a well-equipped five-star hotel located at Qiandao Lake, Hangzhou. However, this hotel is run by a group of incompetent staff including OK (Ronald Cheng) the Assistant Manager, Pacino (Chapman To) the Chief Bartender, Peach (Sandra Ng) the Head of Housekeeping and Sammy (Janelle Sing) the Receptionist. Rumor has it that a mysterious hotel detective will arrive soon and define the rating of “Hundred Stars Hotel”. In order to match the five-star standard, harsh Cruella (Teresa Mo) has been appointed as the Hotel Manager to restructure the hotel. Cruella takes the chance to develop “Hundred Stars Hotel” as the shooting location for a big budget movie. Two leading actresses Marilyn (Karena Ng) and Audrey (Lynn Xiong) stay in the hotel and they are arrogant and too hot to handle. OK is assigned to serve Marilyn and gradually Marilyn falls in love with OK. Meanwhile, Paris (Fiona Sit), the daughter of a tycoon and a very good friend to OK, is also staying in the hotel. When OK knows Paris will go back to U.S. for good after the wedding, OK finally realizes Paris is indeed the one he loves. OK proposes to Paris and Paris accepts, the fake wedding becomes a real one! My Comments: It was a great day for us today as ME & Kimmy had purposely selected Cathay Cineplexes at Damansara to catch a Chinese New Year movie of our choice. This time around, we have chosen Hotel Deluxe as our choice this time and here's our review towards this movie. This movie is talking about the modern hotel and their mission is to ensure that their hotel will be guaranteed a five star deluxe hotel to ensure more people started to known this hotel. Starring some famous Hong Kong artistes such as Ronald Cheng, Teresa Mo, Sandra Ng, Chapman To, Fiona Sit, Raymond Wong, this movie is going to laugh your heart loud and it's truly funny. Besides, the storyline is very good indeed with a happy and great ending and it's very suitable for the Chinese New Year theme this year. Mostly this is a comedy movie with a good storyline and Director Vincent Kuk did a very good this time to ensure it's audiences will not get bored during the movie and keep on laughing. The jokes are good and really quality too. The synopsis above tells it all and almost every part of the story. If you watch the previous versions of All Well End's Well version, you will simply love this movie as well as there's not much difference between these movies.
