News: Film director Yasmin Ahmad dies

Film director Yasmin Ahmad dies

KUALA LUMPUR: Award-winning film director Yasmin Ahmad (pic) has died from massive bleeding in the brain at the Damansara Specialist Hospital. She died at 11.25pm yesterday. She had undergone surgery following her collapse at the TV3 headquarters Seri Pentas on Thursday.

The 51-year-old movie maker was famed for her advertisements and films capturing the essence of racial harmony in Malaysia. Relatives, loved ones and a large group of luminaries from the local movie and television scene gathered at the hospital the moment they heard about her death. Among the first to arrive were veteran actress Fatimah Abu Bakar – a close friend of Yasmin – and Media Prima International CEO Datuk Seri Farid Ridzuan. Although distraught, those present paid tribute to the award-winning director. “We would come cross a few great people in our time on earth. Yasmin was one of them. “She wasn’t an easy person to live or work with, but that was only because she was so talented. “She had a big heart and vision that we usually don’t understand. That was why people misunderstood her. But she never intended any malice,” said Fatimah.

She added Yasmin’s films had always been about love and forgiveness because that was the way her parents brought her up. Fatimah’s daughter, Sharifah Amani, who acted in Yasmin’s films, was too distraught as she stood by at her mother’s side. She refused to talk to the press. Fatimah and Farid acted as the spokespersons for Yasmin’s family to announce her death and details of her funeral. TV host Aznil Nawawi, said he had always admired Yasmin’s work although he never had a chance to work with her. “She possessed the knack on how to capture the essence of Malaysia through her movies and commercials. “I last saw her when she was promoting her movie Talentime at the Radio Era office,” he added. Suria FM chief executive officer Engku Imran Engku Zainal Abidin described Yasmin’s death as a great loss – not only to the entertainment and movie industry, but to the nation as a whole. “Her movies are watched by all races because they can all relate to the messages conveyed. “We have lost a great, intelligent and creative director,” he added. Yasmin will be buried after Zohor prayers today, although at press time the location of the burial has yet to be determined. Fatimah said Yasmin’s body would be taken to the SS19 Mosque in Subang Jaya for prayers. Source: The Star Malaysia.

My Comments: Again, it would be a great loss to the nation as we've lost a talented movie & advertistment director of all times. Yasmin Ahmad had been producing 6 Malaysian made movies such as Rabun (2003), Sepet (2004), Gubra (2006), Mukhsin (2007), Muallaf (2008) & Talentime (2009) and besides her directed movies was a winner at major Malaysian awards, she also gained popularity awards at the Berlin International Film Festival by winning the Grand Prix award by the Kinderfilmfest International Jury and Generation K-Plus Crystal Bear Special Mention (2007) Mukhsin. Last but not least, she also involved in the advertistment industry with the most popular Petronas TV Commercial (for Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Deepavali & National Day). We hope that while her loss, our contry will continue to grow and establish yet another good and talented director just like Yasmin Ahmad. My condolences to Yasmin's family and Life Goes On.....

Soccer: Macheda, Owen strike early to kill off Malaysian hopes

Macheda, Owen strike early to kill off Malaysian hopes

By ERIC SAMUEL

KUALA LUMPUR: Manchester United made short work of Malaysia with Federico Macheda and new signing Michael Owens scoring a goal each to tame the young Malaysian side 2-0 at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil last night. After Saturday’s close 3-2 win by the Red Devils, the 40,000 fans thought they would be in for a goal rush. But it was not to be as a lethargic United started off like they were going for a stroll in the park.

Nevertheless, the visiting Premier League champions gave their local fans something to cheer with two simple goals by Macheda and Owen in the 11th and 13th minutes. For Malaysia, it was a satisfactory performance after having given their all in Saturday’s match in which they played above expectations to fight back from two goals down to hold United to 2-2 before going down to Owen’s winner six minutes from time. Alex Ferguson rested his super stars and decided to start off withOwen and Macheda up front. The notable changes were the inclusion of England international Michael Carrick and Darren Fletcher, who did not play on Saturday. Ben Foster kept goal while regular Edwin van der Sar was left out of the team.

Both teams observed a minute’s silence before the kick-off as a mark of respect for the victims of Friday’s bombings in Jakarta. Again, United raced to a quick lead, punishing the Malaysian defence with goals from Macheda in the 11th minute and Owen two minutes later. Goalkeeper Mohd Farizal Marlias, who had an outstanding game on Saturday, could barely do much, no thanks to the disorganised Malaysian defence, which allowed the visitors to sneak in two early goals. The Malaysian defence was caught napping when Fletcher sent in a low cross for an unmarked Macheda to easily tap in for the first goal. Owen then pounced on a loose ball inside the box to hit it first-timer past a hapless Mohd Farizal two minutes later. Owen could have increased his tally but the woodwork denied the former Liverpool striker’s long range effort at the half-hour mark.

The Malaysians, who had put up a spirited performance on Saturday, looked lethargic and barely made any impact in the first-half. Mohd Amri Yahyah, who scored a brace against the Red Devils barely had a shot at goal and was at sea for most of the match. Only towards the end of the match did Ferguson bring in crowd favourite Wayne Rooney and the other first team players – Dimitar Berbatov, Nani and Anderson. The substitutions provided the spark missing from the match and had the Malaysian defence in sixes and sevens. The fans even got to see the temperamental side of Rooney when he pushed Malaysian goalkeeper Mohd Farizal after an aerial challenge. Malaysia’s best chances came in the dying minutes. Mohd Khyril Muhymeen broke loose from the right and his cross was just too fast for Ahmad Shakir to connect. Then Norsharul Idlan Talaha fired a stinger from inside the box only to see substitute keeper Tomasz Kuszczak keeping it out. - Source: The Star Malaysia

Malaysia: Mohd Farizal Marlias, Mohd Asraruddin Putra (Mohd Azmi Muslim), Norhafiz Zamani Misbah (Mohd Muslim Ahmad), Mohd Aidil Zafuan, Mohd Zaquan Adha (Norsharul Idlan Talaha), Shafiq Rahim (K. Gurusamy), Indra Putra Mahayuddin (Ahmad Shakir Ali), S. Kunalan (Mohd Khyril Muhymeen), Mohd Amri Yahyah (Badrul Bakhtiar), Mazl izam Mohd (V. Thirumurugan (Sabree Mat Abu)), Mohd Bunyamin Umar (Amar Rohidan).

Manchester United: Ben Foster (Tomasz Kuszczak), Gary Neville (Nani), Wes Brown, Michael Owen (Dimitar Berbatov),Ryan Giggs (Paul Scholes), Zoran Tosic, Michael Carrick (Anderson), Fabio da Silva (Patrice Evra), Jonny Evans (Rio Ferdinand), Darren Fletcher (Darren Gibson), Federico Macheda (Wayne Rooney).

Politics: Thousands say goodbye to Teoh

Thousands say goodbye to Teoh

By Syed Jaymal Zahiid

ALOR GAJAH, July 20 — Nobody knows how he died even though the autopsy report says he died from internal injuries sustained in a fall. But what were his thoughts just before he died? Was he alone? Today, at his funeral, thousands of people were determined that Teoh Beng Hock would not go to his final resting place alone. The funeral procession is led by a group walking ahead of the hearse and carrying a huge black banner that says, “Justice for Beng Hock, Answers for Rakyat.” A band is playing and his crying siblings walk behind the slow-moving hearse. They each have a hand on the hearse as it moves through the congested road in Melekek.

His parents mourn at home, following a Chinese custom that dictates parents do not attend the funeral of a child. A whole phalanx of Pakatan Rakyat politicians walk behind the Teoh siblings while hundreds line the road, saying their farewell to the 30-year-old political aide to Seri Kembangan assemblyman Ean Yong Hian Wah. Teoh Beng Hock's sister performs the last rite of farewell by throwing some earth into his grave. - Picture by Choo Choy May (Below). A little after 11am, the procession ends and the cortege makes its way to the cemetery in Semenyih. Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, speaking to members of the press present at the funeral, said: “Firm action must be taken. The chairman of the MACC must be held accountable. This death is a cruel one. Enough is enough.” On arrival at the cemetery, the casket was taken to a nearby temple for some prayers. At about 2pm, the casket was lowered into the ground with about 100 people in attendance. The crowd is growing in size, numbering to a few hundred now, and including Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim and a few DAP lawmakers. The family has yet to arrive so the burial ceremony has not yet begun.

The prayers begin the minute Teoh’s siblings arrive. The sisters are crying and after the prayers, paper offerings are burned at the graveside. The ashes from the offerings fill the air and his friends sing him a last farewell song... and with that Teoh Beng Hock is finally buried. Source: The Malaysian Insider 20/7/09

My Comments: It's my time to give my word. Once again, yet another big news which indirectly involving the government (Malaysian Anti Corruption Agency). As you all know, Teoh fell down from the Plaza Masala and found dead at the fifth floor corridor of the Plaza. Can someone tell me how the HELL that he fell to death inside the building which is suppose to be extremely safe under the guardance of MACC? There are no signs of CCTV Video to be detected and basically I think MACC should be held resposible of the incident. Basically, nowadays the police cannot be so trustable as well as there's connection and link to the government. I support Pakatan Rakyat's move to call for a formation of a Royal Commision of Inquiry to probe on this case as this is fair to everyone. The protests that Pakatan had organized had my thumbs up to show that we must fight justice. Nowadays the BN led government had done a lot of mistake and time will tell for them to step down. I feel so sad because of Teoh's death and I believe it's a murder. My Deepest Condolences to Teoh family as we will find the truth on who is the murderer of Teoh Beng Hock. Stay tuned for some exclusive updates on alexleow-kimmy.com blog. Life Goes On.....

Food Hunt: River View Restaurant, Pasir Penambang, Kuala Selangor

It was a fine Sunday morning. Earlier ME, Kimmy and Alan had decided to go to eat Seafood. We have decided to drive all the way to Kuala Selangor to enjoy the fresh seafood over there. Today, I woke up at about 11 in the morning and after that went out lunch with Kimmy. I wore my favourite football team Liverpool shirt out today. After lunch, we went for some walk and then at about 4pm, I came back to Kelana Jaya to fetch my brother Alan then we are all set to go to Kuala Selangor.

It was a tiring journey as I went to Shah Alam for a while before continuing my journey to Hailam Village Seafood in Port Klang (Noth Port). Well, we never eat there though but we only survey the place as we know where can we head to for seafood next time in Klang. We manage to find the place and then we left the place and we headed straight to Kuala Selangor. Thanks to my GPS set who brought me there. I drove all the way from Kapar towards Kuala Selangor and it was about 30KM drive from Kapar, Klang. Since I haven't tried out the road, so I've decided to use the road to head towards Kuala Selangor. We reach Kuala Selangor at about 5.00pm and firstly I have brought my brother and Kimmy up to Bukit Malawati. It was a nice view over there and we do really enjoy it.

Finally at about 7.00pm, we have reached Pasir Penambang and locate the River View Restaurant. Actually this is my 4th time in this restaurant but for Alan and Kimmy, it was their first time. Then we started to look for the menu as our stomach had began to Grrrr......Hungry! OK! It's business time. Once the waiter had come to order for the food, we have ordered 5 dishes. The dishes are the SWEET, SOUR & SPICY FISH, BUTTER PRAWN, SATAY SAUCE SOTONG, BAMBOO SEAFOOD ("CHUK TAN") & GREEN CURRY CRABS (see picture). OK! Let me tell you guys a little about the dishes that we've ordered. Bout the Sweet, Sour & Spicy Fish, I like the taste very much as it has the suitable taste that I wanted.

The Satay Sauce Sotong meanwhile is just average. Nothing special but what I acknoledged is that the Sotong is real fresh and when you bite it, you will feel the crunchiness of the squid. About the Bamboo Seafood, it was rather fresh as well and the taste was nice also. Finally the Green Curry Crab was fantastic. It's the restaurant recommended dish. We've ordered 1KG and it's just nice for the 3 of us. Bout the price, we have no comments as we ordered 5 dishes (including drinks, rice & tidbits) and the bill came RM101.00. It's not expensive and value for money. We left the restaurant at about 9.00pm and arrived at Kuala Lumpur around 10.30PM. If you got a chance, remember to go and try out this restaurant situated at Pasir Penambang, Kuala Selangor. RATING: 5/5

Alan: He told alexleow-kimmy.com that we food as above average too but not into perfection. He never critics about the food that much but he said he compared a lot of places for seafood, it was nothing special and just normal. RATING: 4/5

Soccer: Malaysia XI 2-3 Man Utd: Owen nets first goal

Malaysia XI 2-3 Man Utd: Owen nets first goal

Michael Owen marked his Manchester United debut with a late winner to save his side's blushes in Kuala Lumpur. Sir Alex Ferguson's men looked like being held to a surprise draw in the opening match of their Far East tour. Owen, though, had other ideas after coming on as a second-half substitute, and showed the scoring instinct Ferguson knew he had when he made his shock decision to buy the former Liverpool star last month.

When Zoran Tosic was upended in the penalty area going for a 50-50 challenge, there was Owen to pounce on the loose ball and stroke the Red Devils to victory. In front of almost 100,000 fans at the Bukit Jalil Stadium, United seemed set for a comfortable win as Wayne Rooney and Nani eased them into a two-goal first-half lead. It was certainly an encouraging hour-long display from Rooney, during which he scored United's first, created the second and came within a couple of inches of chipping home a third. With Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez consigned to the pages of United's history books, Rooney is now the major figure at Old Trafford. True, there will be sterner tests than this for the England man, but on the basis you can only beat the team put in front of you, Rooney did everything asked of him. His goal was a real poacher's effort. Darron Gibson crossed after collecting a superb crossfield pass from Anderson, and though Dimitar Berbatov was repelled by Mohammed Farizal Marlias, Rooney was on hand to expertly steer a shot into the top corner.

It was the start of a bad luck story for Berbatov, who twice grazed the Malaysian post with flicked near-post headers and got into plenty of dangerous positions without finding the net.
Twelve months ago, the Bulgarian's arrival triggered the eventual exit of Tevez. Now Owen lies in wait to upset the established order. Rooney's place is not under threat. And when he threaded a superb pass through the home defence, Nani applied the finish and it appeared United would saunter home. They reckoned without Mohammed Amri Yahyah, one of only two full internationals to start for the Malaysian side, who halved the deficit just before the interval, then levelled eight minutes after the re-start. On both occasions, questions could be asked of the goalkeeper. Edwin van der Sar had no chance of actually stopping Yahyah's effort but his starting position seemed to be too far from his goal. If that was a debatable point, there was no doubting Van der Sar's replacement Ben Foster was to blame for the equaliser.

As this is almost certain to be Van der Sar's last season of top-flight football, the pressure is on Foster to prove he is worthy of becoming his successor. This was not a good start. Trying to control Gibson's backpass, Foster was horrified as the ball cannoned off his shin. Yahyah was quick to react and Foster was unable to prevent the home striker tapping home. The England keeper was more steady when he needed quick feet to get him out of trouble from a Jonny Evans backpass, but the damage had been done. In between those two moments, Ferguson made a quadruple substitution, Owen among those introduced, with Rooney departing, although not before he had nearly scored again after controlling Paul Scholes' pass and landing a chip just the wrong side of the post. Owen's first effort as a United player was a miscued volley which bounced harmlessly across the home six-yard area. His second, typically, proved to be the winner.

Sir Alex Ferguson hailed the impact of new signing Michael Owen after he came off the bench to grab the winner for Manchester United in Kuala Lumpur. Owen struck three minutes from time after Federico Macheda had seen his shot saved. "It was a typical Michael Owen goal," said Ferguson. "He was the first man to react, which is just what you would expect." Ferguson revealed he was always likely to leave Owen on the bench to start with but was not in the least bit surprised his new striker found the net immediately. "I am sure he was looking forward to it," said Ferguson. "When you consider the type of player Michael is, he was always going to be looking to score that type of goal. "There was nothing unusual in it and he will be delighted to have got off the mark." Ferguson confirmed Owen is likely to start Monday's re-arranged game against the same opposition along with Federico Macheda as he tries to ensure all his forwards are fit for the start of the new season. However, Owen could not have had a better start to his United career after his shock signing for the Red Devils.

And if Ferguson was happy with that, the same could also be said of Wayne Rooney, who scored United's opener in a 3-2 win. With Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez now departed for pastures new, all eyes will be on Rooney. ''You are seeing maturity from him now, which is what you expect from all young players,'' said Ferguson. ''I don't believe he needs to look at anything but himself because we know there is a lot of improvement to come from him yet.
''Wayne is not the finished article by any means.'' - Source: Soccernet (ESPN) & Photos Courtesy of The Star Malaysia.

Politics: PAS wins by 65 votes

Manek Urai: PAS wins by 65 votes

By Adib Zalkapli

KUALA KRAI, July 14 — PAS has retained the Manek Urai state seat by a wafer-thin margin of 65, or 0.61 per cent of votes cast, despite earlier predictions of a thumping win for the Islamist party. PAS polled 5,348 against Umno’s 5,283. Last year the party defeated Barisan Nasional (BN) by 1,352 votes. The close win showed PAS had just managed to fend off an onslaught from the BN and Umno machinery bent on taking full advantage of schisms in the Islamist party and among its Pakatan Rakyat (PR) partners. Commenting on the narrow margin, Datuk Husam Musa accused BN of vote buying during the by-election campaign.

“I am very proud of the Manek Urai voters who have shown their strength in resisting BN’s offers,” he told reporters at the counting centre. He claimed that money was distributed to the voters on the eve of polling day. On PAS’s defeat in two polling districts – Manek Urai Baru and Lama – where BN has promised to build a new bridge to replace an old single lane bridge, Husam said: “Now BN has to build the bridge.” He added that the result would not affect Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat’s leadership in the state. PAS candidate Fauzi Abdullah said he would serve all his constituents equally. Meanwhile Election Commission chief Tan Sri Aziz Yusof said there was no need for a recount despite the small margin. “There was no recount, it can only be done if the margin is less than four per cent at the polling stream level, not the total,” Aziz told reporters. He said BN was welcomed to challenge the results.

Tonight’s results will help strengthen Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat’s position in the Islamist party against rival factions who are keen on working more closely with Umno.
Umno had been hoping for a win today to give BN a boost by winning its first by-election in the peninsula since last year’s general elections. Bolstered by a recent opinion poll showing an improved approval rating for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, Umno had wanted to make the Manek Urai vote a major turning point in its quest to regain lost ground from a Pakatan Rakyat (PR) wracked by major infighting. Tonight’s win for PAS will give PR some breathing space as it attempts to consolidate after a month which saw the alliance partners openly squabbling with each other over various issues. Leisure: Restaurant City via Facebook

Have you ever come across with Facebook? I believe many of you already know and familiar with this application because it's so popular right now. Do you know what inside this Facebook Application, you can find thousands of games for your leisure and entertainment?

YES! It's true. If you have finish updating for Facebook profile or getting bored replying to those message, you can try playing some games in the Facebook application. Currently, I am playing Restaurant City, one of the most famous Facebook applications where millions of people logged in to play everyday via online. What is Restaurant City? Restaurant City is an application / games which allows you to build your dream restaurant of what you want to. It works something like SIM CITY and guess what, it has more functions and application that SIM CITY which makes Restaurant City a must play game in Facebook so far.

We all love food. We appreciate food and we crave for food. Before, I want to have my own restaurant. However, I don’t have the resources to pursue that dream but thanks to Restaurant City, I can at least pretend that I can. Restaurant City is a new game on facebook developed by Playfish. In Restaurant City, you get to create and run your very own restaurant! Design it, decorate it, hire your friends to work in it, and collect new ingredients and menu items! I’ve been playing Restaurant City for a week now and I’m loving it. So now, let me share some few tips and pointers for Restaurant City.

1.) How do you get ingredients?

- Daily FreebieThis is automatic and will greet you as soon as you log on each day.
- Daily QuizEach day, you receive a quiz question in your inbox. If you answer the food quiz
correctly, you get a free ingredient.
- Visiting a Friend’s restaurant for the first time (Get clicking!)

2.) How can I gain GP (Gourmet points) faster?

Simple. Keep your browser on! Just leave your restaurant city on, even if you’re not playing. This way, you’ll be sure to gain those extra points which you cannot get while you’re offline. This is also useful if you want to gain level faster.

3.) Keep your employees happy!

Feed them or let them rest. If only they have natural appetite suppressant, so it can suppress their appetite, burn fat and increase their energy output. Remember: Higher happiness = More productivity.

4.) Ways to gain more coins

Get quick coins by picking up trash and shaking trees. While you’re in restaurant view, scroll around your lot. Click all the trees you see because they sometimes drop coins. You aren’t guaranteed a coin every time you do it but it is still an easy way to gain some coins.

5.) Focus on one recipe

Restrain yourself from leveling up lots of recipes art once. Your restaurant can only serve one dish from each category (appetizer, main course & dessert) at a time. So, choose one recipe, click to make sure it’s the recipe being served, and level that up. The higher the level, the more reputation you gain per customer. Make use of the trading feature in Restaurant city!

6.) Meal level to thumbs up conversion

Level 1 = +1.0
Level 2 = +1.2
Level 3 = +1.4
Level 4 = +1.6
Level 5 = +1.8
Level 6 = +2.0
Level 7 = +2.2
Level 8 = +2.4
Level 9 = +2.6
Level10 = +2.8

7.) Make your layout more efficient

As much as possible, avoid too much space between the waiters and the tables. Fix your table layout so that your waiter doesn’t have to walk far to serve your tables. For the table ratio, I go for 3:1. It means 3 tables per 1 cook. Then 1-2 waiters per 3 cooks. Prioritize more cooks over waiters.

8.) Create waiting chairs

Waiting chair is a feature which allows you to increase the time in which a customer waits before leaving. This is useful as every customer who leaves disgruntled results in a decrease of your restaurant’s reputation. To make waiting chairs, read the following tips for higher success rate.
Don’t place the waiting chairs next to the door. Don’t place too many chairs. Place one or two arcade machines to keep your customers entertained for a bit longer.

9.) Make a maze

If your waiters are struggling to clear the dishes in time for new customers then make a maze. This increases the time the customer takes to reach the table and the table should have already been cleared by the time the customer reaches it.

10.) Close your Restaurant

If you can’t login for a long time, you may close your restaurant by blocking the door with something like a chair, table or your mailbox. Or you can just remove the door itself.

Warning: Restaurant City is very addicting. LOL …

ENJOY THE GAME!

I bought the tickets via their online e-payment ticketing as I'm afraid there will be limited places tomorrow at the cinema. Anybody watching the same timeslot with me at the same cinema? Hehe! OK. I've watched the movie and I can say it's absolutely awesome. For those who love comedy (jokes), this is the movie for you. You may also bring your family to go and watch it and enjoy the fun and adventure in Ice Age 3: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs. This time, it has more scenes than the 1st and 2nd Ice Age and do expect a wonderful journey to another world of dinosaurs (something like Journey To The Center Of The Earth style). It also have more action compared to the 1st and 2nd Ice Age as well. I truly love and enjoy this movie and I had a good laugh in the cinema as well. Rating: 5/5

NEW! HOT! ---> The Movie Guru

On this review today, we proudly present to you our Movie Guru. He loves to watch movie almost everyday and his accuracy in giving rating is absolutely good. He is none but my brother Alan Leow. He will be giving his review and I will share out his reviews with you all as you can compare with his rating and my rating.

Alan Review: He have watched the movie this Wednesday at GSC 1 Utama as well. He told us that the movie arent that interesting at it seems. The graphics was nice but for him the story is very important. The story is a bit sucks and it doesn't have many jokes to laugh with. It's a quite boring movie and the sequence is just like the second Ice Age movie. He still loves the 1st Ice Age though. Rating: 3/5

Food Hunt: Gasoline Cafe, Langat Hill

It was a fine Saturday evening. So my brother Alan was free today and I suggested a place for us to go for dinner. He has agreed to it and Let's GO! We drove using Alan's car and guess what, we have decided to go on a hill adventure to Ulu Langat Hill @ Look Up Point near Ampang. We started our journey at 6.00pm and then arrived there at about 7.30pm as we were caught in a middle of a terrible jam at Pandan Jaya and Pandan Indah.

OK. Once we reach there, we manage to find a parking as Alan & Me still thinking which restaurant we would hunt before I could make the decision. We have walked through Gasoline Cafe, Bread & Olive Cafe, Look Up Point Restaurant. Finally we've decided to step towards the Gasoline Cafe and give it a try. Then we try to look for a suitable and wonderful place to look at the scenery while enjoying our meal but everything seems to be dim because most of the tables were reserved for special occasion. Well, we manage to get a seat but still we are able to see the scenery but not as clear as it seems. The waiter services was pretty slow though because there's a lot of people. But still satisying about their service. For food, I've ordered Chicken Chop toppled with Cheese meanwhile Alan ordered Corn Sauce Speghetti. For drinks, I've ordered Ice Blended Kiwi Fruit meanwhile Alan ordered Ice Blended Pink Guava Fruit (see pics).

After the food were serve on the table, we were amazed by the decorations and the smell of the food. We can't wait to try it. Don't judge the book by its covers; This is the word I would like to say as it's not so good as it seems. Firstly by looking at my meal, the chicken was normal without any taste (need to serve with chilly sauce) and the toppled cheese was tasteless and I could not smell nor taste any cheese flavour. Next, the drink that I've ordered (Ice Blended Kiwi Fruit) was good. It has the strong Kiwi taste and at least this satisfy me. Meanwhile for Alan's meal, the Corn Sauce Speghetti that Alan tasted was average. The corn sauce seems nice and a bit spicy as well. Bout the speghetti, the noodle was quite okay but a bit tasteless as well. Bout the drinks that Alan ordered (Ice Blended Pink Guava) the drinks was nice also. Same comments as I give for my Kiwi drinks. Overall, the food was average but the drink was good. Food Rating: 3/5 ; Drinks Rating: 4/5

After that we took pictures and then we even went up to the Look Up Point tower (Menara Tinjau) to look for the tremendous view of Kuala Lumpur city. Below is some pictures that I've taken at the Look Up Point. If you guys plan to go up the Look Up Point tower, remember to take extra precaution because the place is extremely dark without any street lights. Robbery could happen, just be careful ya. I manage to squeak in and climb the Look Up Point tower without any lights as I would like to view the whole Kuala Lumpur City. After that we came down the hill at 9.30pm and go home! If you guys have a chance, remember to drop by there as it's a very nice place for couples as well as holding a function party there as well. Cheers!
