Food Hunt: Happy City Steamboat, Kepong

Welcome back to the next edition of food hunt. As usual, on the weekends, ME & Kimmy will be going to crave some nice food where we can share with you the taste of the food. It was an indeed an almost weekly routine for us to hunt for great food of course as we don't hope for bad food anyway.

We have decided to come over to Kepong to try the Happy City Steamboat. Eventually, I've tried many times already but still I haven't share with you guys how's the taste of steamboat of this restaurant. Normally, this restaurant is very packed with people especially in the weekends. The reason is many people come to this steamboat restaurant because of the soup are very nice indeed and the ingredients are also very fresh.

Once we sat down, we were immedietely served by the waiter and waitress there. Their service was good at times and can be poor sometimes depending on the amount of crowd in the restaurant. We've ordered a 'Yin Yang' soup with 2 persons steamboat portion of food. The Yin Yang soup both were very nice indeed. The 'Ching Tong' soup are sweet and nice. The best of the best is of course the Ton Yam soup where it was superb. You can taste the sweet, sour and spicy in the same time and the taste was just nice. I was amazed with the soup and I've been here for almost 30 times in the past 1 year.

The price meanwhile were moderate and not expensive though. For per head, they charged RM14.50 depending on which soup you take. For 'Yin Yang' soup is free but if you take other soup such as pot of porridge, wine soup etc. you may need to add additional price for that. The bill came is about RM31.50 for me and Kimmy and we've ordered 'Heong Pin' tea. I would totally recommend you to this restaurant as it serves one of the most delicous steamboat ever can be found in Kepong. Have a try and I guess, you will come back again!
