Love is in the air again!

We at alexleow-kimmy.com would like to extend our Heartiest Congratulations to Chee Hoh & Yan for inviting us to their very own Garden Wedding which is held at Covershots located at Kelana Jaya. It was a memorable garden wedding for us and of course happy to see my cousin sister Yan and her husband Chee Hoh to tie the knot there as well. It's also Yan's birthday as well so in the same time I would like to wish Yan a Happy Birthday as well.

A double celebrations for her as well. This garden wedding was attended by about 80 people and it was absolutely wonderful. The ceremony kicks off around 10.30am and then Yan was accompanied by her father and head towards the ceremony. It's quite similar to church wedding. Then both of they say their vows in front of the guests and both of them gave a speech in front of the guests. After that they headed towards the signing of marriage ceremony where Yan's father and Chee Hoh's mother are supposed to witness them both. A lovely ending to their garden wedding as well.

It was a great occasion and then after the ceremony over different groups of friends and colleagues took turned to take memorable photos. Not forgetting we are there as well. After the ceremony fishes, then we proceed to the buffet which is situated at the nearby restaurant named Secret Of Lousiana. The event ended at about 2.00pm. So ME & Kimmy would like to extend our congratulations message to both of you. We wish you happiness till old and love each other forever. Congratulations!

Lifestyle: Alex Leow & Kimmy Registrars Of Marriage

Hello All,

Today marks the most memorable day for us. Besides today is Kimmy's birthday, it's our most memorable and lovely day for us with love is in the air. Why? This is because we've just gone through the Registrars Of Marriage located at Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara at Putrajaya and we are now the legally husband and wife. It's a day filled with happiness and love and below is the chronology of activities on 17th August 2013.

9.15am - Start our journey towards Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara, Putrajaya
10.00am - Arrival at Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara, Putrajaya
10.15am - Take a number to process documents
11.00am - Signing & Take Oaths Ceremony
11.45am - End

It took us about 2 hours to complete the whole process and there was a lot of people that time. As I can see, there are about 5 lovebirds who are waiting for their turn as well. Before the ceremony started and while we are waiting for our turn before the processing of documents, we then take this opportunity to take photos with family and friends and we have a great time. Both of us would like to thank our friends and relatives who came to our ROM. They are:

5.) Hui Yee
6.) Chew Yen

We took lots of photos and this is for our memories. It was great day. Any special things happening during / on the signing & taking oaths session? Yes it is where both are us are very nervous. Then can be seen our hands are shaking as well and I guess it's normal because many of them are watching us. The Registars person in charge who is in charge of our signing ceremony  also did make us laugh and he's a very cheerful person and then knows how to joke as well. That's it about our ROM and we will be organizing the wedding dinner next year. Stay tuned!

Lifestyle: Shell Fuelsave 95

Now it's time for me to review the Shell Fuelsave 95. Many had known that Shell petrol stations are everywhere and you can easily find it no matter in major highways or in trunk roads to villages. Now, let me do a short review of this fuel. From my previous review, I would say Shell Fuelsave fuel is the worst fuel among all but one fine day where I received a feedback from my friend insisting that Shell fuel have improved tremendously if compared to last time. It has the power and can evenly match BHPetrol as for now but still not as good as BHPetrol. The pickup and speed was good to be true and then the engine sound is much quieter than BHPetrol this time. If you are a Shell basher like me last time, give it a try now and then experience the fun drive with Shell this time. You will never regret. For fuel saving, I think it's better fuel savings than BHPetrol and more better than Petronas. Now my rating of fuel (RON 95 only) based on my testing had been changed and as follows:

1.) BHPetrol Infiniti Advance 2X

2.) Shell Fuelsave 95

3.) Petronas Primax 95 Xtra

4.) Caltex with Techron

5.) Petron

Lifestyle: Yes (Fastest 4G Mobile Internet With Voice)

Welcome Back to yet another product review where this time around I would like to introduce and to review Yes 4G Internet and they again claimed they are the fastest 4G Mobile Internet with Voice. Well, this slogan had been used by many of the competitors (not only Yes) to attract customers to sign up their packages. I've decided to try its package and for the time being, I am only able to review the Yes voice only as I have not used their data package just yet.

According to my cousin Mr. Chong who feedback to alexleow-kimmy.com that the data speed of Yes 4G prepaid in Kelana Jaya is good and above expectations and it's recommended to use it. I suppose other places should not have much problem and you can use the interactive map to locate your coverage located at their very own website. Alright, about the voice coverage, basically it's good but you must have a great internet connection (above 1.5MB) in order for both party to hear and talk smoothly. Using a connection that is lower than 1.5MB will caused problems to both parties conversation as they will be lagging and not clear. You can have an option to either choose to use the YES data plan to connect to the voice or use your very provider provided they give good coverage and above 1.5MB of speed.

How you can connect to the voice? All you need to do is just purchase a yesID online and then reload certain amount and you can use it. You can either use the Yes Life Web, Yes Life for iOS and Android or Yes Life for Windows / Mac. It means you can use either way to connect as you need to download the software and then install it in order to use it. The technology works something like Skype or MSN. About the rates, it's pretty reasonable. There are 2 plans to choose from either postpaid or prepaid.

 If you chose to subscribe to prepaid, then you need to topup your Yes credit and you have to use a minimum usage of RM30 per month or else you credit will be forfeited. Usage above RM30 can be carried forwarded to the following month. The rates are pay per use. It costs only 9 cents to make call per minute, 1 per sms sent and 3MB of data. It was rather cheap and reasonable where you can call any number at 9 cents per minute (exclude 1-300, 1-800, 100 etc numbers). You can also choose their Valuepacks ranging from RM68 onwards that was bundled with free calls and data. For postpaid, you can choose their data plan but it does not come with free calls and you need to purchase more credits to use the call functions. This plan also comes with a plan + device as well.

Yes Huddle

Overall, Yes Voice technology actually save a lot for those who really enjoying talking on the phone everyday. Like me, I pay RM20-30 lesser than what I am paying to my normal telco right now. The good thing about this voice technology is that it's cheap and call quality is better when you are connected with higher bandwidth (minimum 1.5MB). Why not gran a yesID and get started now. I would recommend you to take this plan if you are into both data and voice and it save a lot too. Start comparing and do get more information on the website Yes Website. Lifestyle: Huawei Ideos U8150 Smartphone

Welcome back to yet another gadget review brought to you by alexleow-kimmy.com. This time around, I am going to introduce a budget Android Phone for you and I bet you'll simply love this phone at least based on its price and its functions. Also the design of the phone where it's nice and  Introducing the Huawei Ideos U8150 Smartphone that I've bought and I've used it for a couple of days now (if you read this post was posted today). Huawei did put an effort to partner with Google to come out with this phone and it's good overall.

Basically it's a level entry Android Smartphone that was introduced by Huawei to penetrate the market to fight with Samsung Galaxy Y. It has what it takes as this is a great budget phone in the market. The screen is 2.8" only and it's pretty small and I would say it's very suitable for girls to own this phone as the design is sleek and beautiful design too. It's running on the Android Froyo 2.2 platform and the processor is only about 600MHZ with a 256MB build in RAM and 512MB of ROM. The internal memory is 200MB only. You can just image the speed and when I tried to open certain apps such as Facebook, Foursquare or Whatsapps, it was pretty slow in loading and you definitely have to wait a while. The touch screen uses the capacitive touchscreen and it's pretty smooth too. It has a 3.2 Megapixel Camera (without auto focus and flash) and the quality of the picture isn't look impressive. You can also store a Micro SD card and it can support up to 32GB of space.It has WIFI and a HSDPA connection and can support up to 7.2MBps too. The best part is this phone is it can also act as MIFI and you can share the connection to other users as well. However despite the good of this phone, it has some bad part as well. The battery life was pretty short and you need to charge daily as the battery drains too fast although you did not use the phone or uses the phone excessively. Then the apps offen hang and it forces you to close as well.

This phone was released back in September 2010 and it was about 2 years from now and it's already obsolete. But I guess you can still get the phone online or walk in to any mobile stores to ask for its availability. Overall, it was a budget phone and you cannot expect much on this phone. If you are a previous keypad phone owners, this phone would be suitable for you to play around first before upgrading to a more powerful Android devices. The price of the Huawei Ideos U8150 is ranging from RM259 to RM350 in the market now and it depends on the free items given such as memory card and others accessories and so on. A great budget phone to look into and you will at least not regret of getting it at least a backup phone :) MY RATING: 4/5

Thanks for taking your precious time to read about this blog post where I would like to take this opportunity to wish my mom Happy Birthday. Today is my mom's 57th Birthday and it's a great pleasure that all of us (Alan Leow & Kimmy) had eventually turned up to celebrate Birthday with my mom.

Lifestyle: Setia City Mall, Setia Alam, Shah Alam, Selangor

Hello All,

Welcome back to yet another edition of mall visit and today ME & Kimmy had visited Setia City Mall located at Setia Alam, Shah Alam and this is our first time visiting there. We reached there pretty early considering we are not familiar with that place and secondly, it's easier to find parking during this time. We reached the mall around 11 something in the morning and it's not crowded at all. We walked thoughout the mall and we find out it's very huge and plenty of shops there as well. It's definitely bigger than Paradigm Mall which I last visited (new mall) although Setia City Mall only has 4 floors compared to Paradigm Mall with 7 floors. Once you arrive in Setia Alam, please follow the signs to our various car park entry points, where over 2,500 spaces are available. They also have dedicated parking for disabled persons, those with prams and even those with green vehicles, where electricity charging points are provided.

Setia City Mall overall has 4 floors comprising Lower Ground, Upper Ground, Level 1 and Level 2. Every floors is huge and large and the layout is almost the same as Mid Valley Megamall but still it's smaller than Mid Valley overall. There's a lot of shops at the mall ranging from Food & Beverages to Fashion and Entertainment as well. A few shops to name to you for the F&B including Chatime, Tony's Roma, BBQ Plaza, TGI Friday's, Seoul Garden, Carl Jr. Burger, Subway, Mcdonalds, KFC, Wong Kok Char Chan Teng, Fullhouse Lifestyle & Store and many more. For fashion, there's several shops for you to choose from including Zara, Brands Outlet, Padini Concept Store, F.O.S, Cotton On, Esprit, Kitschen, Trio, Uniqlo, Hush Puppies, Nichii, Bossini and many more. For entertainment, you can find a cinema here where Golden Screen Cinemas Setia City Mall is here as well as Wangsa Bowl and Capcom Station.

You will simply enjoy this mall as it's all in one as well and it's based on an Eco-Concept Mall which focused mainly of green environment and recycling as well. Outside this mall lies a beautiful park or garden for its patrons where one can breathe fresh air and you will feel like you're at home. It's a beautiful scenery outside the mall and you will simply enjoy it. Here, organizers also can organized a concert in front of the mall where it can cater a huge crowd as well. Don't forget to catch a glimpse of a fountain here as well as it will dance by itself and there's various lighting lit at night and it's very beautiful as well. I would strongly recommend you to come over to this mall and walk around and I can tell you that you can at least spend 5-6 hours in this mall if you are really into shopping and not just walk around the mall. Lifestyle: Kimmy's Birthday Cake Celebration

Happy Birthday to Kimmy.

That's what I wanted to say here as I had an enjoyable day with Kimmy as we went out for a dinner to celebrate Kimmy's birthday today. We had an enjoyable dinner (to Bubba Gump Shrimp Co, The Curve) and then we came back to proceed to the cut cake ceremony.

It had been a great year once again as I manage to get to cute cake for Kimmy this year. And Baskin Robbins Ice Cream Cake is our choice this time where it looks very tempting and delicious when we passed by and the Ice Cream Cake design are very nice indeed. After eating the cake, it was very delicious especially the Ice Cream and the cake is too sweet and not so delicious for me as I prefer not so sweet cakes. Anyway, the I will giving a RATING of 4/5 for the Ice Cream Cake that we've ordered. We've buy the Mini Heart Shaped Ice Cream Cake where the Ice Cream Flavour would be Mint while the Cake is Chocolate Cake. We had an enjoyable time and I just hope that Kimmy enjoyed as well. Once again, Happy Birthday to you Kimmy. Love you forever!
