Food Hunt: Claypot Station Restaurant (煲煲香), Kota Damansara

Welcome back to yet another weekend and on this lovely afternoon, ME & Alan had decided to try out something new which is located at Kota Damansara. Of course, we would like to thank so many people who introduced this restaurant as in the same time, we would like to try out the food over here. We reach the restaurant at about 1.00pm and the crowd is there but not many people who dine inside the restaurant.

We sat down, knowing that the service would be good as there won't be much people and it does not disappoint us at all. We sat down and then were immediately served with the menu. We browse through the menu and we have a tough time reading through the menu and the price of the food as well and we find it the price is quite reasonable too. Without any hesitation, we ordered the chef recommendation dish that was spotted on the menu. We have ordered the Claypot Curry Wild Boar Meat (RM12.90(S), RM18.00(M), RM24.00(L)) and another additional dish and that would be the Spicy & Sour Vegetables (RM5.00(S), RM10.00 (L)). For the Claypot Curry Wild Boar, we've ordered medium size while for the Spicy & Sour Vegetables, we ordered a small once. For drinks, we've ordered the Herbal Tea (RM2.00 each) and additional small rice for 2 pax (RM0.80 each).

It does not take very long for the food to be served in front of us and we are shocked to see the portion of the food. The Spicy & Sour Vegetables portion for small is really small and for the price of RM5.00, I would think it's still reasonable too. The taste meanwhile is good and recommended to all of you too. The Claypot Curry Wild Boar meat is also nice but since we ordered medium size, the portion of the medium is acceptable and it's still pretty small as well. Both of us had an enjoyable meal out there and we simply love the food over there. Alan had also given good comments on this restaurant and vowed to go back there again too. The same goes to me as well.

The bill came and we have to pay for about RM30.00 for 2 pax and we thinks that price is pretty reasonable too as we had a good and nice meal followed by nice meat too. The meat wouldn't be very hard to chew and it's soft and tenderness of the wild boar meat makes me wanted to crave more. Besides, I've also have some recommendations on the restaurant and perhaps you can try it while you're at the restaurant. Remember to try out their Fa Tiu Chicken (华彫鸡）-RM12.90(S), RM18.00(M), RM 24.00(L) as it taste good, it will be good to those who like strong favoured dish. Also, do also look out for Fried Tau Fu c/w Dried Prawn （虾米豆腐）-RM7.90 as this is also nice.
