Leisure: The Curve, e@Curve & IPC Chinese New Year Decorations 2012

Welcome back to yet another edition of the Chinese New Year Decorations and this time we are back yet again for another Chinese New Year Mall visit. After kicking off the 1 Utama Mall visit, we then head towards The Curve, e@Curve and IPC Shopping Centre in the same day to complete the visit within the Petaling Jaya area. This year theme is really special for the 3 malls and The Curve theme this year would be "Wonders Of The Orient" while e@Curve theme this year would be "Once Upon A Springtime". For IPC Shopping Centre, this year's theme would be "Dawn Of The Dragon". Now, each and every malls have its very own decorations.

First of all, we visited The Curve Shopping Mall and we found out that the decorations is pretty awesome but there's nothing so special about it. There's a small house which was standing in front of the Centre Court and it was then filled with Chinese Tradional Hut and some tables in front of it and it's a really traditional feel. Not a bad decoration where it looks very red too and it also symbolizes the spirit of Chinese New Year. Meanwhile at e@Curve, the decorations looks a little simple and nothing much can be seen. It has the similar decorations like The Curve but it only has a simple hut in it only. For IPC, the same goes where it has a quite bad decorations but this time it looks slightly better than the Christmas Decorations. It has the same concept but this time it's pretty reddish with a lot of dragon icons which symbolizes the dragon year. In front of the stage, there's a cardboard made houses that was equipped with a dragon icon there as well.

Overall, the decorations at IPC and e@Curve looks very normal and nothing special about it but at least The Curve Shopping Mall would be the best among the three malls decorations. It does gives me a special traditional Chinese New Year feel compared to IPC and e@Curve. Besides, do go at night as outside e@Curve, there's a LED Chinese New Year tree light being lighten up and it was quite nice too with Red and Pink color LED lights. Enjoy!
