Food Hunt: Hainan Tea, Jusco Taman Maluri

Welcome back to yet another edition of Food Hunt and more to come shortly as well. Today is Saturday as ME & Alan had gone for a haircut and we settled at Jusco Taman Maluri and then we had our lunch there. After walking through the whole mall, we found out that this restaurant is very unique and the seats are very special as well. It's equipped with a home themed soft together with a table and we are amazed. So both of us decided to try out this restaurant named Hainan Tea Restaurant.

We reach the restaurant at about 12 noon and then the crowd is pretty less with only a few tables being occupied. We sat down and then were immediately served with the menu. We've also found out that there's a device for you to press for service, bill or others as well. We browse through the menu and found out that the pictures at the menu are very attractive and we are tempted to try out the food as well. I've ordered Chicken Rendang Noodle (RM10.80) with Hainan Tea Cold (RM4.90) while Alan ordered Mutton Curry Noodle (RM9.80) with Hainan Tea Cold (RM4.90).

The food took about 5 minutes to arrive and that's pretty fast as the restaurant is less people as well. The Chicken Rendang Noodle was good and nice too considering the portion is average and not that big. The mee is not so much but they gave the whole chicken breast and overall the taste was good with purely rendang taste. The Hainan Tea was good too as it's not too sweet and it just suits my taste. For Alan Mutton Curry Noodle, the taste can be considered not bad and just nice too.

Overall, I would say the price is slightly expensive based on the portion but the food can be considered good too. I would still recommend you to come over and try out the food over here and I bet you won't be dissapointed. The price we both pay is about RM33.45 that comes with only 10% service charge and no government tax. Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Enjoy! MY RATING: 4/5 ; ALAN RATING: 4/5
