We kicked off our very first mall visit during the festive mood of Chinese New Year to 1 Utama Shopping Centre and we have a blast out there. Of course, we are still at the festive mood as after Christmas, we will have Chinese New Year and the cheer continues. This year theme for 1 Utama Chinese New Year Decorations would be "Chinese New Year 2012 - Auspicious Discoveries All New Year Long". The name is fabulous but the decorations is very similiar to the ones during Christmas time and the only thing changes is the color and the icons where there's a dragon appeared in front of the shell that is filled with pearls. The shells still exists and it's a sea celebrations as well.
It was rather very red for the Decorations as Red also symbolizes the color for Chinese New Year. There's nothing really impress me except the Dragon icons that was majestically displayed in front of the New Wing Centre Court and that was the most beautiful ones. Maybe given by a short period of time, they did not manage to change the whole decorations that was leftover by Christmas and they just remained by changing just a few things. If you love the Christmas Decorations at 1 Utama, then you will love this one as well as it's the same as it is. I would still recommend you to come over to take beautiful photos too.
