Food Hunt: Wok Sifu, Jusco Metro Prima, Kepong
Dear All,
Welcome back to yet another edition of Food Hunt. Today ME & Kimmy had visited Jusco located at Metro Prima in Kepong to catch a movie and in the same time to buy some stuffs there. For dinner time, we walked throughout the mall and finally we have decided to try out Wok Sifu restaurant. It looks impressive for me as the restaurant name says it all which means chef master wok.
We stepped into the restaurant at around 7.00pm and it was super crowded. We have to wait about 10 minutes before we get the seat. Once we sat down, we were immediately served and it took us about 10 minutes to browse through the menu as there's a lot of varieties of food to choose ranging from Chinese to Western Cuisine. After browsing through the menu, I've decided to eat Noodle Soup with Spicy Braised Beef (RM9.90) and it's chef recommended. Kimmy ordered Spaghetti Shred Ham in Tomato Sauce (RM11.90). For drinks, Kimmy ordered Chinese Tea (RM0.90) while I've ordered Fizzy Lemon Ribena (RM5.20).
The Noodle Soup with Spicy Braised Beef is nice and since it's recommended by the chef as stated at the menu, it did not bluff us. It was just nice and the portion is pretty big as well. I can see they gave a very big portion of beef and for the price of RM9.90, I guess it's reasonable too. But it was otherwise for Kimmy's Spaghetti Shred Ham with Tomato Sauce. Firstly, it did not stated down that this meal is recommended by chef and secondly I do not recommend you to try out Western Food as these Hong Kong concept restaurant because most of the Western cuisine is not nice. This is the same either. The Spaghetti Shred Ham with Tomato Sauce sucks big time with the tasteless tomato sauce and then the spaghetti was tasteless too. A very very bad dish and not recommended at all and for the price of RM11.90, it was totally rubbish! For the Fizzy Lemon Ribena, it tastes good and recommended to order too as this is the best seller in the restaurant.
Overall, the bill came and it was priced at RM27.90 after Jusco Card members had an additional 10% discount upon showing your Jusco Card. Or else, you will be paying up RM30.00++. I would say the price is reasonable but not for the bad quality food that tastes sucks. If it's nice, then it's a different story. So remember my advice and I would still recommend you to come over to try out their Chinese cuisine only. Enjoy! MY RATING: 4/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 2/5
