Welcome back to yet another food hunt edition after the Raya holidays. ME & Kimmy were at Berjaya Times Square to celebrate Hari Raya and it was totally awesome. We had a great day shopping and we bought ourselves a lot of things as well. Then after that, we went for dinner. It was a great as we've discovered Sakae Sushi which was newly opened at Berjaya Times Square recently and finally we've got to dine in there. When I stepped into the restaurant, I discovered that they had changed to the new ordering system using the latest Apple Ipad 2 which really amazed me. It will be the first ever restaurant in Malaysia that uses the Ipad ordering system and I found out that it's really cool!
We reached there around 7.30pm and the crowd was a lot at the restaurant. We need to wait for approximately 20 minutes before we got seated on a packed restaurant. Once we sat down, we were immediately served as I can see the waiter and waitress looks very busy. That time, we can also enjoyed a buy 1 free 1 red plate meaning that we only need to pay 1 price to enjoy 2 red plates (RM5.99 each). We've ordered 4 plates of red colour and we only pay the price of 2 plates. Other than that we've also ordered the Chicken Shiogayaki Don (RM11.90), Potato Salad (RM3.99) and several pink plates sushi (RM3.99 each) as well. For drinks, both of us ordered Genmai Tea (RM2.00 each). We did not eat much as the main course was pretty filling as well.
Overall if we compared, the sushi's and the main course served here is pretty much average and not as nice as other branches such as in 1 Utama branch. So far, I still prefer 1 Utama as it will be the best branch in terms of the food quality. The price meanwhile was all standard and nothing to brag about. The overall price is roughly about RM43.00++ which is in my opinion average price. Enjoy! MY RATING: 3.5/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 3.5/5
