Hello All,
This year Christmas theme for Sunway Pyramid would be Christmas Fantasia and it talks about the fantasy of Christmas. At the concourse area, it displayed a huge big round crystal ball and inside the ball, you can see a red penguin and a mini christmas tree inside it. Unfortunately you are not allowed to touch it and only can see below the stage and no one will be allowed to enter the stage unless photographic with Santa Claus. There's also a Christmas Carols in between 30 minutes to 1 hour to entertain its patrons who visited the mall. The portion of the decorations were pretty small and I would say it's just average. But overall, I was amazed by the outdoor decorations setup by Sunway Hotel. It only operates at night where you can see beautiful blue lights being lid up and it has something to do with I-City concept. We did took some photos over there and the atmosphere was amazing and nice. Do come on over to visit Sunway Pyramid or Sunway Hotel for their Christmas Decorations at least you will be still satisfied but do not expect too much compared to Mid Valley or 1 Utama as previewed earlier. It's still worth of coming here to view the decorations. Check out some photos that I will posted it here and for the FULL photos viewing, please visit my Facebook for more information. MALL DECORATIONS RATING: 3/5
Welcome again to yet another edition of the Visit Mall for Christmas Marathon. After visiting 1 Utama in the noon, we continued our journey to Sunway Hotel and Sunway Pyramid after lunch. We had our very late lunch at 3.00pm before reaching Sunway at about 4.00pm and the place was very crowded with people and hardly you can find parking. It took us about 20 minutes to find the parking and we can count ourselves very lucky to got one since it was so crowded. The mall meanwhile was very crowded with people and hardly to squeeze in. Do not visit Sunway Pyramid during weekends especially during Christmas as it will be crowded. If possible, try to visit during early (just start business hours) or during late night (1 hour before they close) if you were to take photos over there at their concourse area. Besides, I've also visited the Sunway Hotel since it's located near to each other and their decorations there was pretty simple as they displayed some puppets and some Christmas Tree to usher the Christmas season.
