Food Hunt: Kluang Station, Ikano Power Centre

Hello All,

Welcome back to yet another edition of Food Hunt after such a long time, we did not discover need place for food and today we are back again! ME & Kimmy had decided on a walk at The Curve and Ikano Power Centre and it was very crowded especially at The Curve as there are quite huge Christmas decorations over there.

Once we settle down at Ikano Power Centre, Kimmy & I had decided to try out Kluang Station situated at 2nd Floor of Ikano Power Centre as normally we pass-by, there will be a lot of people eating at the restaurant. We sat down and immedietely the waitress brought us the menu. Once we looked at the menu, we saw a lot of varieties especially our own Malaysian Cuisine and the price meanwhile almost looks like the same price as Oldtown. It took us about 5 minutes to decide what to eat and drink. A beautiful Malay waitress came and serve us with smile and we do joke around too.

I've ordered Nasi Lemak Ayam Merah (RM9.90) with a glass of Sirap Limau (RM2.40) while Kimmy ordered Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng (RM9.90) with a glass of Sirap Bandung (RM2.60). The Nasi Lemak Ayam Merah was great and nice. It was covered with curry and the chicken is actually Ayam Goreng. The rice meanwhile was very nice and great to consume. I would love this type of Nasi Lemak and you should try it out too. The Sirap Limau meanwhile was very good indeed. At the top of the sirap limau contains a small barley portion at the top and it was nice too indeed for a bite. The same goes to Sirap Bandung that was ordered by Kimmy. It was very nice and it contains a small barley portion at the top. The Sirap family is the most recommended to all of you. For Kimmy's Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng, it was the best. She told alexleow-kimmy.com that the rice and the fried chicken was very tasty and of course when you come here, you should taste this one as it was very nice.

Overall, the bill came and it's about RM27.28 including tax and I am very satidfied with the food over there. It was very nice overall and the price was not expensive and just reasonable based on the shopping mall standard price. Both of us would recommend you to come over to try out Kluang Station at Ikano Power Centre either for your lunch, tea break or dinner. I can tell you that this restaurant is stratagically located nearby escalators and you can see a lot of people sitting there and their business is very good too. Enjoy! MY RATING: 5/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 5/5

*Food & Drinks rating are based on the food & drinks we've ordered and not overall food & drinks.
