Leisure: The Curve & Ikano Power Centre Christmas Decorations 2010

Hey All,

As promised, we are back again to yet another Mall Marathon and today we have visited The Curve and Ikano Power Centre one shot to see the glimpse of Christmas Decorations installed this year. We reached here quite late at about 4.00pm and it's very crowded. Even the parking in the shopping malls were closed due to parking full and we got no choice but to park at E@Curve car park and we had difficulties also finding parking over there and we have to settle for an illegal parking. But luckily there's no signboard stating that the vehicle can be clamped as well. So I guess it's safe to park over there.

Once we reach the concourse area at E@Curve, the Christmas Decoration was rather dissapointing and nothing much to see. It's the worst that I've seen so far and nothing is special over there. Then we went over to The Curve and it was much better than E@Curve. The Curve decorations was mainly for kids once again with a mini house at the centre of the concourse area surrounded by puppets as well. It can be considered as good too but not as good as Mid Valley Megamall. A lot of people took photos today at the area and as usual, there are presentation from a group of choir as well. This year Christmas theme for The Curve would be "Under The Christmas Tree".

Then we moved on to Ikano Power Centre to take a look at the Christmas Decorations there and it was rather very simple as well. The theme for Ikano Power Centre Christmas this year would be "Christmas Toyville" and it's focusing on toys again. Well, overall major departmental stores or malls are targetting on toys and puppets and this makes it suitable for the kids. The decorations at Ikano Power Centre was rather normal and simple and there's a mini stage where there will be some performance from a group of choirs who will be performing on stage from time to time. So in conclusion, you may bring your kids to come over here as it's a suitable theme and decorations for them and do not expect much for their decorations as it was just very normal only. Again, enjoy the partially uploaded photos at my blog and to enjoy the full photos review, please logon to my Facebook. Enjoy! MALL DECORATIONS RATING: The Curve 3/5 ; Ikano Power Centre 2.5 /5
