Review: It was a hot sunny Friday afternoon where it's my off day basically and I manage to spend my afternoon with my beloved family and all of us went for lunch at Cross Over Cafe located at Festival Walk Ipoh Garden East. According to my family, this restaurant just opened not long ago. We reached the restaurant around 1.00pm and the crowd is building up slowly and it was packed 30 minutes later. The menu is just like Wong Kok and there's a lot choices to choose from. We do enjoy the environment there as it was cold and we do enjoy our meal there. We browse through the menu and then we found there's Korean, Western and Chinese food to choose from. I've ordered the Creamy Mushroom & Pumpkin Spaghetti (RM11.90) while Alan ordered Spicy Korean Noodle Soup With Roasted Pork (RM8.90). My father ordered Pumpkin Wui Fan (RM6.90). For drinks, we've ordered Ambra Juice (RM2.90), Calamansi Juice (RM2.90).

Lychee Pineapple Smoothies
Char Kuey Teow
The food is overall nice and the price is reasonable provided the portion of the food is nice too. According to source, the chef had worked for Wong Kok previously and he is a good chef who have been brought and work here. So mostly the food here is very nice and tasty. Do try out the Creamy Mushroom & Pumpkin Spaghetti as it's very nice as well as the Spicy Korean Noodle Soup With Roasted Pork. The price we pay around RM45.00++ included service and government tax. I would recommend you to come and try out the food over here as it's nice, price is reasonable and it's air conditioned too. Enjoy! MY RATING: 5/5 ; MY FAMILY RATING: 5/5

Review: This is one of the most famous eateries can be found in Ipoh. The specialty of this place is definitely the Yong Tau Foo, noodle soup as well as Popiah and Assam Laksa. People name this place as "Dai Shu Geok" (Big Foot Tree). It has a lot of hawker stalls situated at the bottom of a huge shaded tree. Now, among the famous hawker stalls here are the ones selling Yong Tau Foo, noodle soup and Assam Laksa. Besides, the popiah is also nice. Other stalls including satay, fried finger foods, chicken rice and many more. The best and famous of course comes from the Yong Tau Foo where you need queue for about 10 - 30 minutes before you finish picking up the Yong Tau Foo and then you need to wait around 10-30 minutes for it to arrive on your table. Do take note that this place is crowded during peak hours (lunch), weekends and public holidays. Do try the noodle soup and assam laksa as it tasty too. We ordered 4 bowls of normal soup mee plus meehoon together with some mixture of Yong Tau Foo as we've got 4 people to dine in. It's really nice and tasty especially the Yong Tau Foo. We've tried the Assam Laksa and Popiah and seriously, both of them are very nice too. Yummy! A must try all of the food as recommended when you are here.

The drinks, we've ordered of course would be Watermelon & Umbra Juice and both of this are super nice and cooling especially under a hot weather. Also do try out the Dragonfruit Juice too as it's wonderful too. We do have a wonderful time dine in at this place despite the food are wonderful and then it's not too hot as it was covered under the big foot tree. Enjoy the food over here. MY RATING: 5/5 ; MY FAMILY RATING: 5/5
