Welcome back to yet another edition of Food Hunt.and this time we bring you over to Paradigm Mall to have a try on Sushi Zanmai. We reached the restaurant at around 7.45pm and the crowd started to build up and we have to queue up to find our place. Fortunately, we manage to find a place after queuing for about 10 minutes and this is weekdays. During weekends, it would be difficult as the queue is long and you have to wait a bit longer.
We were then shown to our seats and then were immedietely served with the menu. We browse through the menu and then look what food we wanted to eat. Apparently the menu selection is like the same like the other sushi chain restaurant like Sakae Sushi or Sushi King and nothing so special about it. Here's what we've ordered and we both shared the food and it's more than enough for our meal.
1.) Chicken Katsu Curry (Small) (RM11.80)
2.) California Temaki (RM4.80)
3.) Inari Crab Sushi (RM6.80)
4.) Kaisen Nabe (RM15.80)
5.) Egg Mayonnaise Sushi (RM2.80)
6.) Ocha (Tea) (RM1.00 each)
It does not take very long for the food to arrive and some food we take from the sushi belt. Let's gp straight to the food reviews now. The Chicken Katsu Curry is a curry rice type that comes with fried chicken. Firstly when you started to eat, it was good but while you ate it a few times later, you will feel that you want to puke. This is because of the curry which is not spicy but a bit sweet and the flavour is something like you eat maggi mee with curry powder. Just so-so for this dish. Meanwhile the California Temaki is also just so-so and not so tempting. The portion is quite huge but the rice is not tasty enough. The Inari Crab sushi is pretty special and it's tasty. You should order this sushi. The Kaisen Nabe is a mini steamboat set that comes with different types of steamboat ingredients such as fish, melon, tofu, vegetables etc. You can even shared with 2 persons. The soup is nice and tasty. You can also try this too. The Egg Mayonnaise Sushi is also very nice and tasty.

The price is acceptable and total bill came around RM51.05 with a standard government and service charge as well. The food overall is tasty except the Chicken Katsu Curry which I think is pretty puke when you try to eat it a few times due to the curry sauce. I would recommend you to come over here to enjoy your sushi meal. MY RATING: 4/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 4/5
