Welcome back to yet another edition of Food Hunt and today, ME & Kimmy had visited 1 Utama for some shopping and we've also went for a movie as well. While we did some shopping, we came across Sakae Sushi, which already had relocated to Lower Ground floor at Old Wing. Since it's just 2 days after their new relocation outlet opening, we've decided to give it a try. In this blog at press time, we are unable to get the entrance photos of this new outlet because yesterday we are in a hurry to catch a movie and totally forgot to took it but you may refer to the address below to locate the place. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. We will updated accordingly once I've got it.
This restaurant is situated at the same row between KFC and Mcdonalds, which also being relocated for a few months back. Once you can find these 2 restaurants, you will have no problem finding the new Sakae Sushi outlets. Once we reached there, we were handed a discount pamphlet of RM10 when you spend RM30 above in a single receipt. Without any hesitation, we went in and try. The new restaurant ambiance is really good and romantic as well. The design of the restaurant was simply great and lovely. You should come and try it out. The price meanwhile was up RM0.10 per plate of sushi's from RM1.89 to RM1.99, RM3.89 to RM3.99 and so on.
Once we reached the restaurant at about 6.15pm, the crowd was still less and once we sat down, we were immediately served. We ordered 2 glasses of green tea as refreshments and then we continue to craft for more sushi's over there. The sushi's that we've ordered including California and Unagi Temaki, Ebikko & Salmon Sushi. For the main course, we've ordered Chicken Shiogayaki Don, Potato Salad & Yasai Kakiage. Overall, the food taste had improved significantly at this outlet since it's new opening and I would recommend you to come over and try this new outlet. You will not regret.
About the bill, the price was pretty reasonable as well. Since this new outlet had offered a RM10 discount for spending above RM30, I guess it's very worth it from 28th April 2011 till 30th June 2011. My bill came and total would be RM 55.37 and the RM10.00 discount costs us overall RM44.40. So, go visit them and enjoy!
