Welcome back to yet another edition of the Food Hunt where we are back again to introduce some good food to you. This time around, we would like to thank our brother Kee Lian Hoe for introducing a restaurant for us to dine in and overall the food was fabulous. Overall we love the food over here and we had a great time enjoying our food especially on a Friday afternoon where it's almost to the weekend.
We arrived at the restaurant at around 12.30pm and the crowd looks pretty less. It started to build in when it reach 1.00pm. And yes, according to Kee Lian Hoe, the restaurant is packed and full during the weekends where many food lovers would love to come here to try out the desserts and food over here as it was great and the price is pretty reasonable as well. Once we arrived at the restaurant, we looked at the menu and it took all of us (5 of us) 10 minutes to look at the menu. Of course, they also offered set lunch as well during weekdays and we ordered that one which comes with a choice of either a cold/hot tea or special brewed coffee.
I've ordered the Ayam Pandan Chicken Rice (RM7.90) and also with a cup of Cold Tea. For my colleagues Wei Wen, he ordered Nyonya Chicken Rice (RM8.90) and also with a cup of cold tea. Alex Chew meanwhile ordered Rendang Chicken Rice (RM6.90) with also a cup of cold tea. Kee Lian Hoe and Gina Sie; both of them ordered western food which is the Chicken Mushroom Chop (RM9.90). For drinks, Kee Lian Hoe ordered a cup of Cold Tea while Gina ordered special brewed coffee (hot). Both Alex Chew and Wei Wen did ordered desserts after their main course meal which is the Mile Crepe Cake (RM5.90) while Wei Wen ordered the Apple Streusel (RM4.90). Gina Sie also ordered the Sandwich set (RM7.90) as her takeaway portion as well.According to the feedback, the food were amazing and it was nice. But for my Ayam Pandan Chicken Rice, it was pretty disappointing. Although the rice has fragrance in it but the portion of the chicken is rather small. It only provide Chicken Wing and it was so tiny where definitely it was not enough for those who is big eaters. The taste was just so so particularly the portion was pretty small as well. Try not to order this! For Wei Wen Nyonya Chicken Rice and Alex Chew's Rendang Chicken Rice, both are very nice and the portion is very big indeed and it beats the price of RM6.90 and RM8.90 respectively. For Kee and Gina's Mushroom Chicken Chop, it was nice as well and the portion are pretty big as well. Most of them enjoyed their food except me which I was pretty disappointing with the food I ordered. For the desserts, the Mile Crepe Cake and Apple Streusel was very nice indeed. I try some and found it melts in your mouth quickly and the cake has it different taste on each of the layers and it was 'fantabulous'. The Apple Streusel was good as well. There's nothing special about the drinks because the cold tea that we drank are actually tea powder that used to serve us. The special brewed coffee is also quite normal and nothing special about it.
Overall, the food was great and nice and I can guarantee you most of us walked out of the restaurant happily after the meal. It was because of the unbeatable price and unbeatable great food that we've enjoyed. I highly recommend you to come over here to try out their food especially during lunch break during office hours. You may also come at night or evening but the prices is slightly expensive just like normal cafe's are charging. Enjoy! We went there today.
The ambient was perfect, food was nice, price is not expensive too!
However, the waitress service sucks. There were only 2 more other table besides us, but it took one of us more than 1 hour for the food to show up, eventually we have to cancel the order, due to waitress keep on saying excuses without any hospitality at all.
Also, the menu is so confusing, and mistakes were made by the waitress. They never admit their mistakes, and even argue with us to tell us we did not order correctly.
Besides, we ordered pizza, but until 1hour after waiting, only the waitress came out and told us their oven got some problem...we waited for 1 hour for nothing.. and one of us have to go back without any food being served..
We so liked that place, but we swear we won't want to go there anymore because of their service.

I have to admit this that their service had gone very bad previously. I did not update this article. The other day, I've also waited for 1 hour and the waitress said that the chicken spoil and we need to order other food. In the end, they recommend Fish Nasi Lemak which is not in the menu. Arghhhh! I know how u feel, the same goes to me either. The manager is not at the restaurant that time. At least, we got discount 10% on our affected food. Better than nothing! Well, I did a complain before at Webuy and nothing has changed. Well, you may boycott this restaurant.
