Megamind is the most brilliant supervillain the world has ever known - and also the least successful! Over the years, he has tried to conquer Metro City in every imaginable way. Each attempt, a colossal failure thanks to the caped superhero known as Metro Man, an invincible hero until the day Megamind actually kills him in the throes of one of his botched evil plans. Suddenly, Megamind has no purpose. A supervillain without a superhero. He realises that achieving his life's ambition is the worst thing that ever happened to him. _______________________________________________________ My Comments: It has been a while that ME & Kimmy had go out for movies because of our availability these few weeks. Of course today I manage to spend my time Kimmy to go for movies and this week, we have chosen Megamind as our movie of our choice. Not only that, we have decided to try out the new cinema that had just opened in Kepong few weeks ago and the cinema name would be MBO Cinemas Kepong Village Mall. Let me comment a little bit on this new cinema where the seats was not nice (like bus seat) and while they start to air those movie previews, you can hardly find you seat because there's no light in between the alphabets in rows and this is a difficulty for its patrons to identity the seat. Hopefully MBO can improve on this. Overall, it's a new cinema and the interior design was nice and fantastic too. I love the entrance and the entire cinema design and infrastructure as well. Maybe you can try it out to catch any movie of your choice as this cinema. The price meanwhile was pretty expensive (RM12.00) for new movie and it should gone lower as their cinema seats standards are not up to the standard as GSC to TGV. MBO Kepong Village Mall also offers 3D halls as well. Alright, let's go straight to the movie comments. Megamind is a movie that talks about superhero movie and if you have catch The Incredibles last time, it was pretty similiar to it. This movie is merely for the kids and family as well. This movie talks about the hero who wanted to save the world and its citizen at metrocity and it backfired. Instead be a bad superhero, he changed to a good superhero and try to save the shit that he have done previously. Did he fell in love too? YES! This movie talks about superhero and of course a little bit of romance and most importanly it does have a lot of jokes for us to laugh as well. Even the kids will love this as it was real funny and for the adults, you will love it too. For me, I did laugh and it was kinda interesting too. The storyline was too simple as we would have expect that because this movie is cater for the whole family and especially for the kids. Of course, I would still recommend you to watch this movie as it was fun to watch too. It also available in 3D version as well. Enjoy! MY RATING: 4/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 4.5 / 5 |

The fact of the matter is its MBO. It's nothing to do with its location at Kuching or anywhere else. MBO just sucks! flat SUCKS!!! I'm staying at KL. Just watched Transformers 3, like just now, at MBO Spark, Desa Petaling. Sound problem man... it was not muted, it's playing. But when you hear the sound, its like as though you were hearing it underwater with the sound amplified. How stupid is that. Me and some other guy went out to complaint, after a while they fixed the prob, but only for a short moment the sound went crazy again. I went out again and ask if they could get the sound fixed and rewind the movie for a bit. They couldnt because it will affect their movie schedule. So i asked if I could get a refund. She's like gladly accpeted my request as though she had been through this all the time with the customers. So I asked again, "Can you refund for all the others inside"?. She's making some face and turned away. So there I was 'trying hard' not to waste my time, finishing the movie in a cinema not worth watching.
Anonymous: I think only old MBO cinemas are like that. I do not recommend you to go to those old MBO Cinemas which have not done any renovation. Why not you try out newly built MBO Cinemas as they are more modern and their sound system are pretty good as well. Only thing is their seat system which is kinda sucks! I would recommend you to try out MBO Viva Home Mall which is pretty good! The Hall also very cold as well and make sure y ou bring jacket inside as well! :) Cheers bro!
