Food Hunt: T-Bowl Restaurant, Sunway Pyramid

Hello Everyone,

First and foremost, I would like to wish Happy Chinese New Year in advance to those who will be celebrating Chinese New Year in a few days time. Our Food Hunt continues and we will try out something new today and YES! We have made it to T-Bowl Restaurant in Sunway Pyramid to try out the popular food in the toilet bowl! It looks a bit disgusting when you are eating the food over there but whatever it is, it a great experience to try it out.

We had our early dinner tonight at 6.00pm and the crowd are not so much. It was a great atmosphere inside the restaurant where the table was actually designed with bathroom utensils below the table and it can be seen. Of course, the meal that you can see in its menu mostly contains a bowl where a toilet bowl is supporting below it. It's a pretty new experience for me and Kimmy although this restaurant already opened for quite some time as we don't have the chance to try it out yet but today we've decided to try it out.

I've ordered Cheese Baked Rice with Chicken Chop (RM 12.90) with a glass of Honey Lemon (RM2.50) while Kimmy ordered Si Chuan Spicy Sour Ramen (RM10.90) with a glass of Honey Lemon (RM2.50). For desserts, we've also ordered Mushroom Soup with Garlic Bread (RM4.50). OK! Now we come to the most important part which is the taste of the food. I can tell you that overall the food was very disappointing and it does not look promising at all. Both of us are very sad of the quality of the food as it does not meet our expectations. WHY? The Cheese Baked Rice with Chicken Chop was tasteless as I can only taste the heavy flavor of Cheese and the rice was simply tasteless and the Chicken Chop was rather not well cooked and looked raw. The Honey Lemon drink meanwhile was very sour and it does not have the Honey flavor. Kimmy also feedback about the Si Chuan Spicy Sour Ramen as well. It was so sour and not much spicy taste and the meal looks very disgusting too. It's hardly to digest and eat and she said she was disappointed with the food and planned to BAN this restaurant in future.

Both of us enjoyed the atmosphere at the restaurant but not the food. The food is really sucks to the maximum and there will be no next time for us eventually. It was just a try for us and they really let us down. I would not recommend you to go for the quality of the food but if you would try out something new about the toilet based restaurant, you can give it a try but as I have said earlier, do not put high expectations on the food as it was very disappointing to us. The price meanwhile was pretty expensive based on the food portion where it was just average to small as well and the whole bill came and it's about RM39.00 including tax. Good Luck to you!
