Leisure: Holiday at Club Med, Cherating Kuantan

Hello everybody,

It's time for vacation again and this time, TFP Solutions Berhad had organized a special trip for its staff and this time they had planned to Club Med in Cherating in Kuantan. We had a wonderful time over there and the resort was really big and the staff are very friendly too. Below is the short summary of what I did throughout the 3 Days 2 Nights stay at Club Med.

DAY 1:

We reach the paradise at about 2.30pm and we were escorted by a beautiful G.O. called Soey into our room. Then after that, I walked around the resort and had decided to go to the beach (Pantai Beach) where we need to take train or 20-30 minutes walk to another beach. There you can enjoy beach volleyball, sailing, kayaking but I did not do those activities and have decided to walk around the beach by taking beautiful photos. Then we had dinner and just after the dinner, we were entertained by circus show at the Club Med Pavillion Theather where a great performance from their G.O. staff over there as they did a great job. After that, we continue to enjoy your free flow drinks at the bar as we chit chat until late night.

DAY 2:

I woke up at 8.30am and we headed straight the the restaurant to take our breakfast. It was buffet style as well. Then after that, I went to play table-tennis with some of my collegues and had a great time there. After finish playing, then I've go the private beach right in front of Club Med to take photos before heading for lunch again. The in the afternoon, I was at the bar enjoying the beautiful music sang by the G.O's over there. Then at 4.00pm, I head to the badminton court to play badminton until 6.00pm. Then we had dinner and as usual after the dinner, we were entertained by the beautiful dance show performed by the G.O's once again. It was a wonderful show that makes us laugh and the dance was great and I am so buoyed with their performance. Right after that, the footloose programme started and it's time to party and clubbing right till 1.00am.

DAY 3:

I woke up at 7.30am and head towards for breakfast. The reason we need to wake up early is because I need to take more photos before checkout at 11.00am. After checking out, we had our lunch and departure at 2.30pm from Club Med to Kuala Lumpur.

Overall, the trip was so relax and enjoyed as we get to enjoy the facilities over there. For your information, the drinks are all free flow including hard liquor and wine as well as the food there as well. When you are outside your hotel enjoying your facilities, there's no need for you to bring your wallet out or even your handphones as it has a limited coverage over there too. You are welcomed to order what you want and I can guarantee you will love it. The price for 3 days 2 nights stay (if individual stay) would be around RM2,000 and it's pretty expensive. We just stayed at the wooden house and not so luxurious inside the chalet. It would be gateway heaven for married couples as it's a romantic place too. I would rate this place as enjoyable and a great holiday heaven to relax and chill too. The G.O's there are very friendly as well as they will serve you wherever you are and feel free to ask them questions. You can also make friends with them just like I did. Oh ya! I did not managed to upload the full version of the photos here as I will upload some only mainly on the view of the hotel. If you want to know more, do feel free to add me as your friend in my FACEBOOK and you can view the full album over there with over 200 - 400 photos displayed over there. Enjoy your holidays! Food Hunt: Niji Sushi, Bandar Manjarala

Hi All,

It's a lovely but tired Sunday for me as I just came back from Club Med Cherating (Many of you asking where is the blog for Club Med! Well, I will update once I am free). After touch down at Kuala Lumpur around 5.30pm, I managed to rest for about 1.5 hours before continue my journey to look for Kimmy to enjoy my dinner. Kimmy did proposes to eat Japanese food and she had chosen to eat Niji Sushi Restaurant at Bandar Manjarala.

We arrived at the restaurant at about 8.00pm and the restaurant was already very crowded. The waiter and waitress were so busy serving other customer and of course it would be slow. After we sat down, we need to wait for about 5 minutes before the menu reach us. Upon looking at the menu, we spend about 5 minutes looking at the menu as we have to decide what to eat this time around. Finally we have made a decision where I've ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Set while Kimmy ordered Ebi Tempura Udon as her choice. For sushi, we've only ordered Spider Inari. For drinks, as usual we will go for Green Tea (RM1.30 per cup).

It took about 20 minutes for the food to arrive due to the restaurant was so packed like nobody's business. I did not complaint about that as they have quite a lot of workers over there but mostly are busy to the maximum. Let's go straight to the food comments. The Chicken Teriyaki Set was nice too. It's very fresh and juicy as well. This set comes with the Miso Soup and Japanese Tofu as well as mini salad too. It was priced at RM14.90 and the portion was big too. Meanwhile Kimmy's Ebi Tempura Udon also tastes nice. It comes with 3 pieces of tempura served together with the udon mee. It was priced at RM10.90 and the portion was big too. The food served are mostly fresh and that's why it was crowded especially during weekends. The Spider Inari (RM4.50) was nice and special indeed where you can't find it outside. It was very juicy as well with the smell of fragrance rice and whoah! You'll simply love it. Overall, the food we've ordered was tasty and we do have a satisfied time over there. The bill came and it was priced at RM34.55 including tax and I would say the price was reasonable and most importantly, the food are nice. Why not come over and try! You'll love it! :) MY RATING: 5/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 5/5

Food Hunt: Kemaman Kopitiam, Kuantan (Version 2)

Hi All,

Welcome back to yet another edition of the Food Hunt. Today is 29th October (Friday) where we do get a chance to relax at Club Med in Cherating in conjunction with the Company Trip organized by my company TFP Solutions Berhad. I did not follow the bus as me & brother Ho Wing Onn had decided to go on a car and during lunch, we did stop over at Kuantan to enjoy our lunch and finally I've introduced Kemaman Kopitiam to my collegue Mr. Ho.

Once we reach there almost 1.00pm and the restaurant was not crowded and very less people only. Once we sat down, we were immedietely served by the waiter over there. We browse through the menu and then I've decided to try out the Nasi Dagang (RM7.80) and the Kemaman Coffee (RM3.80) while brother Ho Wing Onn ordered the same dish except the Coconut water (RM4.50). We've also ordered East Coast most popular food 'Keropok Lekor' (RM4.80) as well.

Let's go straight to the food comments. The Nasi Dagang was nice and special as it contains fish only together with the juicy curry that makes the Nasi Dagang so special and nice. I really enjoy the food but it's a bit pricey with the portion that we get as it was very small portion. Brother Ho Wing Onn also said the same thing as it was nice too. About the Kemaman Coffee, it was super nice and tasty too. For the coconut water ordered by Ho, it was rather sweet and juicy too. The Keropok Lekor that we've ordered also did not dissapoint us. It was very special and different compared to the ones selling in Kuala Lumpur. The Keropok Lekor was rather juicy as you can taste the fish flavour inside it and it was so tasty once it was accompanied with the chilli sauce.

The bill came and the price for all the food is about RM20.00++ after tax. It was not so expensive as we get to eat quite a lot of food as well but the Nasi Dagang was a bit pricey as stated earlier if we go by the portion that they gave. Overall, the food was real satisfactory and I would recommend you to try it. This restaurant is just opposite the Berjaya Megamall in Kuantan. Enjoy! MY RATING: 5/5; HO RATING: 5/5

Food Hunt: Look Out Point Restaurant, Langat Hill (Version 2)

Hi All,

Welcome back again to another edition of the Food Hunt and today ME & Kimmy had decided to go up hill to enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur city. And of course, we had chosen Look Out Point Restaurant as our choices once again for dinner after almost 8 months haven't been there already.

We reach the hill around 7.15pm and of course the parking charges would be RM2.00 per entry. Besides, once we reach the restaurant, surprisingly there were not much crowd at the restaurant maybe because today it's Sunday and tomorrow is a working day. Once we sat down, the waitress immedietely brought us the menu and I've ordered Chicken Spaghetti and Hot Milo while Kimmy ordered Bratwurst Germany Sausage and a glass of Hot Soya Milk.

Let's go straight to the food comments where the Chicken Spaghetti was just average and nothing special about it. The portion was pretty small and not so attractive too. But for the Hot Milo, it was nice. I love the taste too. For Kimmy's Bratwurst Germany Sausage, it was also average. She said that the portion is very big and filling but the taste was just normal as it was not smoked nor grilled. It looks like it was only cooked and steamed only. For the Hot Soya Milk, it was totally sucks and a big failure. I guess they used the packet Hot Soya Milk and after you drank several times, you will feel 'geli' with the taste of it.

The price meanwhile was more expensive compared to last time. The total bill came and it was about RM40.00 after the tax. I basically think it's not worth it as the food that we've ordered was pretty sucks as well. Well, I would still recommend you to this place but please do not ordered the food mentioned above as per comments (except hot milo). Enjoy yourself. MY RATING: 3/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 2.5/5

Food Hunt: SS20 Fish Head Noodle @ Medan Selera MBPJ Damansara Kim

Good Evening Everyone,

It's time again for some food hunt and of course, special thanks to my brother Alan Leow who introduced this place for me to try out especially for those who love Fish Head Noodles. This place is very crowded and packed during office hours lunch break as well as during weekends.

Today ME & Alan went and the place was not so crowded after all. It was about 1.30pm at that time. Once we stepped into the food court where the restaurant is located, we immedietely sat down and within seconds, the waiter came and brought us the menu. I looked at the menu and they have quite limited varieties for fish head noodles but each and every meal has its speciality. I browse through it and found it was attactive too. I've ordered Fish Paste Noodle with Milk (choices of thick, thin and 'lai' noodle but I've ordered thin noodles since thick noodle out of stock already that time). For Alan, he had ordered Fried Fish Fillet Noodle with Milk ( choices of thick, thin and 'lai' noodle and Alan had chosen 'lai' noodle). For drinks, I've ordered Cincau Ice while Alan ordered Chrysenthemum Tea Ice.

The noodles came within 5 minutes after we've ordered and the service is pretty fast as well since there's less people in the restaurant. According to Alan, you have to wait for about 30 minutes if the restaurant is packed with people during weekdays. You judge yourself. Let's go straight to the food comments. The Fish Paste Noodle with Milk was good but slighly sour on the soup but I still can accept it. The mee was nice and the portion was big. With the price of RM7.50, the price is really reasonable with the amount we get and I am satisfied with the price of the food as well as the quality of the food too. For Alan's Fried Fish Fillet Noodle with Milk (RM8.50), it was also good where the fish flesh was very fresh and nice to consume. Both of us recommend you the dish that we've ordered. For the drinks, overall it was nice too. The overall price including drinks was acceptable where it costs us about RM21.00 for 2 persons. If you are around that area, do drop by and try out this fish noodle restaurant and start to give comments on my blog too. Enjoy! :) MY RATING: 4/5 ; ALAN RATING: 4/5

Leisure: Car Service Report (Proton Saga)

Hi All,

I am back again and this time, I would like to share with you the extensive report of my Proton Saga where finally I have reached 1000KM within 2 weeks and it's time to go service. Firstly, I went to this Proton Service Centre (Wakil Proton Service Centre) in Sri Petaling and the service was fantastic too. Why I would say it's fantastic is because if you encountered any problems (like for me is the car jerking issue, they will check it out for you and not just say 'BIASALAH KERETA PROTON'.) The name of the service center is called World Car Care Sdn. Bhd. located at Sri Petaling. See address above picture. I would recommend you to this service center as they provide excellent service and in the same time you can sit at the waiting room where you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee while waiting for your car service to be ready. Besides, there's a television in the waiting room as well. It was very comfortable as well.

Today in my first service, I've change a few things including Shell Helix Semi Synthetic HX7 Engine Oil (RM99.00), Fuel Injector Cleaner (RM17.80), Oil Treatment (RM19.80), Oil Filter (RM12.22), Gasket Plug Oil Drain (RM3.32) and lastly the Screenwash 300ML while the service is free for the first 10,000KM. The price is reasonable and not expensive though. Many of them commented that there's no need to change some of the mentioned above but I think it's pretty important too because to keep your car on good condition, you must do a lot of treatment. Furthermore, it's not expensive though. Well, it costs me about RM157.00 for my first service. After that, my car beginning to pickup more power and now it's running smooth for the time being. Basically the car now does not have jerking anymore and I can enjoy smooth driving as for now. I also did look at their menu of service as they provide what they have in their service package but you can customized it yourself too. It's all up to you. Enjoy and Good Luck! :)

Food Hunt: Station 1, Bandar Puteri Puchong

Hi All,

Welcome back to the next edition of the weekend food hunt and of course, I am back again where ME & Kimmy are again in hunt for great food around the Klang Valley. Today is Sunday and of course, I am at Bandar Puteri, Puchong where I send my new car to do tinting and in the same time have my brunch together with Kimmy. Alright, we arrived at Station 1 Bandar Puteri at about 12.15pm and the place was not crowded and only a few people in the cafe only.

After we sat down, we were immedietely served with the menu and once we browse through the menu, we are busy looking at what food that suits us during our brunch. Finally I've made the decision to eat Speghetti Bolognese (RM8.90) and a glass of Ice Honey Lemon (RM5.30). Kimmy ordered Hot Dog Set (RM5.90) together with Soymilk (RM3.90). Let's go straight to the food comments. The Speghetti Bolognese that I've ordered is above average and quite nice too. It's also covered with dried crab sticks too. You may give it a try on this one. The Ice Honey Lemon was just moderate because it was too sour and less honey. For Kimmy's Hot Dog Set, it was just normal and nothing's special. It's like eating inside a normal stall and even the 1901 Hotdog is better than this one. The soymilk is nice as it came within a bottle.

Overall, the price is just normal and it's average too. The bill came and it's about RM24.00++ including tax. If you are at Bandar Puteri, you may want to relax and chill out here as the food is not bad as well. It's a good place to relax. Enjoy! MY RATING: 4/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 3.5/5
