BALI TRIP: Day 2 Food Hunt

It was the 2nd day that I am in Bali and of course today is the most packed in schedule compared to another 2 days while visiting the places of interest in Bali. It was a hectic and busy especially in the morning as we get to visit those villagers to see those interesting paintings, batik, handicraft and many more. When it comes to lunch, I have requested my tour guide, Gusti Ngurah Jelantik to introduce to me the best crispy duck (Bebek Betutu) in Ubud, Bali. And without any hesitation, I have planned to skip the lunch at Mount Batur and head towards Ubud to try out the crispy duck (Bebek Betutu).

We went to the restaurant named I Made Joni Restaurant & Gallery to enjoy the food over there. What so special there besides the crispy duck is that we get a chance to see a view or scenary of a big green paddy field. You can just imagine that it was so beautiful and of course would made your lunch taste even better! Haha! Well, let's go straight to the food comments. We ordered the crispy duck set which comes with a steam rice, vegetables and fish satay (see pictures). We ordered Ice Tea as our drinks. Once the crispy Duck came into our table, we were toally amazed that we stand a chance ot eat the whole duck (small size) and guess what the meat is something like a meat floss which is different here in Malaysia. The taste meanwhile was superb and the fragrance of the crispy makes the duck even more delicious. It also comes with a Bali Chilli and soy sauce and both of the sauce were totally fantastic and delicious. I love it so much as if I would like to try again during my next visit to Bali. The price meanwhile is pretty expensive but like I said, if the food is good then it's very worth paying it.

The crispy duck costs about IDR 85.500 per set where we ordered 2 sets & the Ice Tea costs about IDR 12.500 per glass. The total bill came is about IDR 238.000 (RM80 for 2 pax) plus tax already. Imagine you can taste the great taste of the crispy duck together with a beautiful view of the green big paddy field. How relaxing it was isn't it?

At night, we did have our dinner but we only have KFC at the Kuta Square. Then we head towards back to hotel after that.
