My Comments: Namewee is back! Frankly, I am a big fan of Namewee and this time he is back with his latest movie Hantu Gangster which speaks in 3 dialects Malay, Mandarin and Tamil and some on Hokkien and Hakka as well. It's a truly Malaysian movie and most of the jokes only understand by our very own Malaysians. After his successfully movie Nasi Lemak 2.0 and now he is back with a new movie. ME & Kimmy watch this movie at GSC One Utama and let's go straight to the movie comments. It's a star studded movie that features some Malaysians stars including Namewee himself, Data Jalaluddin Hassan, Dato David Arumugam, Farid Kamil and Diana Danielle. Their acting as good and mature in this movie and I would say it's up to my expectations especially Diana Danielle which is very gorgeous in this movie. This movie is talking about the gangster which is then seperated by 3 races including Chinese, Indian and Malay Gangsters and how Namewee is then dedicated to reunite the races into a truly Malaysian spirit. The path is not easy and he have to go through a lot of obstacles to reunite them. The gag and laughter was great but then there are some part which is too over do and a lot of repeated words such as "kuihkoci", "wa"and "lu". The storyline is attractive but in some scenes it's too over react and not so funny and I would still prefer Nasi Lemak 2.0 then this one but this movie still earn me some credits to give a high points on my ratings. Not forgetting the songs that Namewee composts and it was marvellous including the Hantu Gangster theme song as well as the title Good Brother (咱是好兄弟). You would love the humor of the Malaysian jokes that was played by Namewee and I guess you will laugh at the cinema too. I would recommend you to watch this movie and do give Namewee a chance as his movie is not bad overall and he deserves a chance to be in the spotlight. He still can improve though. Enjoy! MY RATING: 4/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 4/5
