Food Hunt: Restoran Bumbung P.J. (Nasi Lemak Sea Park)
Hello All,
Welcome back to yet another edition of Food Hunt and today ME & Alan had decided to crave for more Nasi Lemak. We had visited this restaurant where it's claimed one of the best Nasi Lemak in Petaling Jaya and it's located at Sea Park. It's a 'mamak' concept where it's operated outdoors but of course the food is being prepared indoors. Patrons have to sit outdoors and interestingly it sits along the 'lorong belakang' and during peak hours like dinner time and supper time, the tables are fully occupied.
We reach at about 8.30pm Thursday and the crowd is already packed. We hardly can find tables and have to wait about 10 minutes before we managed to find a place to seat. Surprisingly it's a weekend and the tables are merely full. What amazed me is that once we got into our seats, the nasi lemak were immediately served before we ordered as they knows we came here to eat Nasi Lemak. It's like a 'dim sum' style where they bring the Nasi Lemak to you and see whether you wanted to eat or not. Me & Alan both ordered Nasi Lemak (RM4.50) per plate and the nasi lemak contains a piece of Fried Chicken and fried egg too. The portion of the Nasi Lemak is average as it's not too big or small plate. It's just nice to fit into our dinner as well. For drinks, both of us ordered Teh O Ais Limau (RM1.50 each). The taste of the Teh O Ais Limau is nice and it's not too sweet either.
The taste of the Nasi Lemak is pretty normal but the Fried Chicken is a must try. The fried chicken is nice and tasty and the aroma taste is there as me & Alan simply love it very much. The sambal meanwhile was normal as it's not very spicy enough and I can say it's acceptable too. I guess many people came to eat the famous Nasi Lemak is just because of its Fried Chicken where it's very nice indeed. I would recommend you to come over to try out this Nasi Lemak located outdoors just beside Maybank Sea Park. I guess many of you have tried before as this mamak restaurant already operates a few years ago. No worries. If you haven't try, it's not too late. For the price of RM6.00 plus drinks, I think the price is pretty reasonable to dine in and BEWARE during rainy days as there will be no roof to cover if it's raining and it's a kind of 'Eat At Your Own Risk' as you will get wet together with your Nasi Lemak unless you get a place covered located at Maybank building but with limited seats. Enjoy! MY RATING: 5/5 ; ALAN RATING: 5/5
* Food & Drinks Rating are based on the food & drinks we've ordered and not overall food & drinks.

i like it a lot & its cheap! But sometimes the food serve already cool & the fried chicken no more crunchy. So, seldom visit this place anymore. I'm only visited the Nasi Lemak at Uptown over the weekend.
Well, thanks for the feedback. That day when I went, the chicken is still hot and crunchy and it tastes good. :)
These guys use recycled oil for frying so be careful as it is not good for health
