Food Hunt: Carl's Jr. Charbroiled Burgers, 1 Utama

Today after work, me & Alan had a tough time deciding on where to had our dinner. Finally we have decided to head to 1 Utama once again for yet another edition of food hunt. As we walk again at 1 Utama, finally we have decided to go for Western Food mainly BURGERS! Without wasting any more time, me & Alan decided to walk in Carl's Jr. Charbroiled Burgers located at the Ground Floor of the Old Wing.

After entering the restaurant, we found out there a moderate choices of burgers ranged between minimum RM10 - RM25 combo package to choose from. Once we enter the counter, I ordered Famous Star with Cheese Burger (see pics below) combo package that comes with a burger, a cup of refillable drinks and french fries. It was a real surprise when I opened the package of the wrapper and saw the burger size. It was about 2 times huge than the McDonalds burgers and it's very nice to eat. Once I bite it for the first time, it was so juicy and the charbroiled burger meat was so delicious. It's better than McDonalds burger at least. The Famous Star burgers contains Charbroiled All-Beef Patty, Melted American Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Sliced Onions, Dill Pickles, Special Sauce, and Mayonnaise on a Toasted Sesame Seed Bun. You will feel the tastyness of the burger and I'm sure you will come back again next time to try the same or other burgers. The price is quite reasonable as well as it was RM14.20 (plus tax)

Alan ordered Double Chili Cheese Burger (see pics below) combo package that comes with a burger, a cup of refillable drinks and french fries. Once again, the burger is the same size as mine and according to him, he said the burger is nice and tasty as well. He is a regular customer of Carl Jr. so almost every flavour he tried before and nothing special for him. The Double Chili Cheese Burger contains Two Charbroiled All-Beef Patties Smothered with Chili, American Cheese, Onions, Tomato Slices, Pickles and Mustard on a Toasted Sesame Seed Bun. The price for this is quite expensive as it was RM18.00 (plus tax).

About the drinks, it's refillable. The cashier will serve you just a cup and you can refill how many times you want and it contains lots of drink varieties to choose from such as Coke, 100 Plus, Sarsi, Ice Lemon Tea, Grape, Orange etc (see picture below). I took Sarsi, Ice Lemon Tea and Grape while Alan took Ice Lemon Tea, Coke and Grape.

Last but not least it was the french fries (see pictures below). The french fries was twice as better as the McDonalds fries. It's slightly thicker and it's a new product from Carl Jr. which is the Natural Cut fries. It uses the original potato and when you eat it, you can feel the difference where you can smell & taste the real potato flavour and I bet you will like this one.

Overall, me and Alan had a wonderful time enjoying the burgers. The bill came was about RM32.20 and it's pretty reasonable as well. If you wanted to have a private or business chat, this is the place for you as you can refill the drinks and continue to chat for a long period of time. But if you would like to try, do welcome and try the greatness and deliciousness of these burgers and I promise you, you will not regret trying it out. If you are a burger lover, this would be an extra added advantage for you as well. Enjoy yourselves! MY RATING: 5/5 ; ALAN RATING: 5/5
