Finally our gang had a most memorable and wonderful time up there at the Restaurant Look Up Point at Langat Hill. And in the same time today is Halloween Day. It was organized by me and it was a wonderful and successful turnout this time. A total of 12 persons turned up at the gathering inclusing ME, Kimmy, Chai, Kevin, Teo, Sai Kit, Li Yong & Stanley, Yen Nee & Keong as well as Yen Peng and Yen Sim. Haven't met for almost 4 months, of course we had lots to chat and we had a wonderful time chatting, enjoying the beautiful view of Kuala Lumpur and wonderful time eating as well.
We reach the Langat Hill pretty late because of traffic jam at MRR2 as we have booked the table at 7.00pm. We reach there around 7.30pm and the seats were all taken up by the crowd as there's so many people in the restaurant already enjoying their meal. Luckily the boss reserved the seat for us and we managed to get our seats on time but have to wait about 10 mins before we all get seated. After looking at the menu, there are so many varieties to choose from and we ordered our food and drinks accordingly.
As for me & Kimmy, I've ordered BBQ Sizzling Steak and a glass fo Ice Lemon Tea (see pictures). Meanwhile Kimmy ordered Black Pepper Sizzling Chicken and a glass of HOT SOYA (see pictures). For my dish it was kind of tasty and above average taste. The Ice Lemon Tea is just nice and nothing special about it. According to Kimmy, she told alexleow-kimmy.com that the Black Pepper Sizling Chicken was very nice indeed and above average. But unfortunately, the HOT SOYA doesn't seems to be nice at all because it's too sweet for her. Besides, we also ordered mushroom soup with a bread and the taste was just average and not so nice. The price of the mushroom soup is very expensive and we are charged RM8.30 per servings. Not recommended to order a mushroom soup. After finishing our main course, we did ordered Ice Cream as our dessert. The 3 scoop of ice-cream was very nice indeed and we ate Strawberry and Yam flavour. Overall, the food was above average and not bad. Worth a try. MY RATING: 3.5 / 5; KIMMY RATING: 3/5.

For other people, I've interviewed some of my friends including Yen Sim, Yen Peng, Yen Nee and Chai, they have different views of the food. Yen Sim told alexleow-kimmy.com that the food was nice and the drinks has too small portion and it's average only. Yen Peng told alexleow-kimmy.com also that the food is above average and she don't have much comment on the drinks because she's having a bad sore throat and she only drank hot lemon tea only. For Chai who ordered the same main course as mine, he said the food was above average as well and the drinks was simply brilliant. Finally Yen Nee told me that the food was average and the drinks was average as well. Kindly see the photos on what they've ordered.
The price overall was kinda reasonable and per average serving price (for steaks, chicken chops, pasta etc.) between RM10.00 to RM20.00 per plate. Besides, you get to enjoy the wonderful view of Kuala Lumpur and you won't regret for paying that. But still, I read from many blogs who critics about their food and after trying the restaurant, I feel it's not bad through and it's mostly above average food. The waiter service was OK too and no complaints about that. Only thing you need to be careful is that since that was near to the forest and trees, you will see some flies or some insects flying around or even dropped at your meal as well. Please take note of that too. Overall, the bill came and it's about RM350.00 (including tax) for 12 persons and I think it's reasonable. Average per person is about RM30.00 and it's not expensive at all. 
Before we left the place, we did take some photos at the restaurant and its surroundings there. Since it rained earlier in the evening, it was so cooling and I could see a thick mist from the place and this makes the place even much cooler. We did not go up to the look up point tower because majority of them doesn't want to walk up but if you guys have a chance, do go up there and you can enjoy the beautiful view of the hearts of Kuala Lumpur. After thinking and giving suggestion among ourselves, we have deiced to go for Nando's in Sunway Pyramid. Once we reach the restaurant, we were serve by the friendly waiter and waitress and we had a wonderful time there. We reach there around 7.00pm and the crowd had started to pack the place already. Once we sat on, the waiter brought us the menu. Since I have ate Nando's before, so I just see the menu and did not waited much until I ask the waiter to take order for our food.
I've ordered 1/4 of Chicken (grilled into perfection) with 2 servings (coleslaw & Nando Chips) (See pictures below) while Kimmy ordered the same menu except different servings (she ordered Nando's Corn and Nando Chips) (see pictures below). For water, we've just ordered a bottle of mineral water while we share among the both of us because we had enough of juice and carbonated water when we were singing karaoke just now. FYI, if you ordered Coke, you can refill anytime.
Let's go straight to the food ratings. The 1/4 chicken was fantastic and you can eat together with 4 added sauce / flavours provided by Nandos. The 4 flavours / sauce including Nando Garlic, Hot Peri-Peri, Extra Hot Peri-Peri & Mild Peri Peri. The flavours / sauce that I've taken is Extra Hot Peri-Peri and Kimmy took the Hot Peri-Peri and she told alexleow-kimmy.com that the chicken was fantasic and awesome. Besides the coleslaw, corn and the Nando Chips was also fantastic and nice. The price was quite reasonable through and the bill came costs us about RM38.00 (after tax). The 1/4 chicken costs about RM14.90 per plate and the mineral water (per bottle) costs about RM3.90 and can be shared by 2 persons. We had an enjoyable time there while the food was totally awesome. It's worth a million try and I can guarantee you that you won't get bored with the taste of the chicken which MUST EAT with the sauce / flavours.

Once we are there, we straightly find a suitable and good place to sit and of course I would look for places with a fan because it would be very hot while we are dining the food. Why? This is because it's a wooden house typed restaurant and the food served there would be spicy and hot. So be prepared when you are going there to eat. The service there was good and once we sat down, the waiter will come and ask us of what food to eat. Unfortunately, they don't provide you with a menu and you need to do some research before you go OR ask them for recommendation of what food is nice there. For me, I've done some research before I go and I have ordered Tom Yum Gung in claypot (for 2 persons), spinach with sambal belacan, Grilled Stingray and Grilled Sotong (see pictures). Kimmy ordered hot herbal tea while Alan ordered cold herbal tea. I've ordered 100-Plus because I know I will be very thristy later due to the spicyness of the food and to quench the thrist, I've ordered 100-Plus.
The food came and 3 of us are very satisfied with the food served. Let's go straight to the comments of the food. The Tom Yum Gung was pretty impressive because of the taste. It was pretty spicy and sour and well balanced so if you loved this, then I would guarantee you will say nice to this tom yum gung. The spinach with the sambal belacan was very nice and a little spicy as well. Nothing special about it and the chef cooks this dish very delicious as well. For the grilled part, the grilled stingray was pretty impressive. It was covered with the curry powder at the top and the flesh of the stingray; while eating with the chilli sauce (sweet & sour as well) served will add the juiciness and tastiness of the fish as well. Finally the grilled sotong, was pretty plained in its decoration BUT don't look down into it. The grilled squid was very nice as the squid is very soft and easy to bite. You can smell the fragrance of BBQ flavour and when you chew at your mouth, it was an easy and pleasant dish to take as well. The 3 of us was very impressive by the food there and we vow to come back for the 2nd time again.
Last but not least is the price. It was in my surprise when the bill came to me. For the 4 dishes that we've ordered only costs about RM49.70. and the portion was average and suitable for 3 people to dine. Besides, it also includes drinks as well as 5 bowl of rice (2 added bowl of rice) and NO TAX being charged for this one. It was unexpectably cheap and I wonder the crab and fish over there would be cheap as well? Stay tuned for out Part 2 coming later when we visit the restaurant again later. If you guys opted for cheap and reasonable food as well as the food is nice, Nong & Jimmy is the place definately to be and remeber to come a bit earlier (between 6.00pm to 7.00pm on weekeends) because the parking there is very limited. Even those paid parking (RM2) also will be full and then you will have difficulties of finding a parking space. Before ending this posting, I would also recommend you to try other seafood that I've not tried today including grilled crabs, The Thai style steamed fish & Thai deep fried crullers with pandan kaya as I heard this both dishes are very delicious as well. You may ask the waiter for recommendation and assistance as well. Aights, enjoy yourself! :) 
The restaurant atmosphere was simple and your seat will be like a kitchen alike seat where you will be be surrounding the chef cooking over there. The chef will cook in between the tables and after the food ready, will be distributed among the customers by the waiter or waitress over there (see pictures). After looking at the menu, me & Kimmy had decided to go on Chicken Teppanyaki and 1 glass of Green Tea each for us. The price was pretty reasonable as well and it only costs about RM9.90 per plate and RM0.90 for the Green Tea (Refillable). The Chicken Teppanyaki was served with a plate of rice, bean sprout, cabbage and of course chicken meat (see pictures). The portion is kinda big and the taste was nice. You can even eat it with the chilli sauce or soya sauced served on the table. I've tried it and which ever suites your taste, go for it because it will be very delicious as well.
For Kimmy, she told alexleow-kimmy.com that the Chicken Teppanyaki was just average only this time. She said previously she had once and the food is far more better than this time. For me, it's my first time there though. She said previosuly she tried in Mid Valley and the taste is far much more better than in 1 Utama. The bill came and it's RM22.90 (plus tax) and for me, I feel that the price is pretty much reasonable to try and I recommend you to go and try it and you will know how it tastes like.
