Lifestyle: Robbery at Bandar Sri Damansara

It was a dry Wednesday night where I was at Kimmy house. I had dinner there and left around 11.00pm. I went to 7-11 to buy bread for my next morning breakfast and then I met a robbery there. It was an unlucky day for me as I lost RM200 plus a RM50 wallet which was given to the robber. I was so sad, shocked and suffered a bit of trauma after the incident as this is my first time being robbed.

When I was at my car and started my engine, the robber quickly jumped into my car. It was my terrible mistake as I forgot to lock the car door and as a result, the robber manage to get in and rob me. I was forced to follow his instructions before he ran away with my purse and money and the most lucky thing is, I request the cards (credit, IC) to be given back to me, the robber gave it back to me as well. How funny is this robbery isn't it? I would not go into detail on how the robber rob me but it was just an unlucky day for me.

Then I was told by Kimmy family that the robber is one of his friend son's based on the evidance that I told them and the feedback that Kimmy's family which is quite similiar to the person that rob me. I was told that this robber just came out from Tanjung Rambutan and he's a bit INSANE. Once I heard, I was so scared because an insane man just robbed me. According to source, this fella is a bit insane and then have a lot of family problems as well. He don't have work now and always spend his time out at the arcade machines store. His father doesn't like him and then always gave him RM15.00 for daily food only. This causes him to rob and this cannot continue because one fine day, he will either be ended up in police station or being beaten up. I got a bit pity for him but he should not have rob just like that. He should have find a job and work. I also heard that one day where his father don't want to give him money, he even wanna chop his father off but failed. Scary right? Luckily I did not fight or ignore his instructions or else I would be in the hospital or not here already.

Well, my final verdict is that don't let me see him again or else I will take stern action this time. I can forgive him this time based on his family background that causes him to rob. Even if he hurts me, he is not wrong because he is a bit insane. Well, I hope that everything goes fine after this and this would be MY LAST incident too. GOD BLESS ME! :)

Food Hunt: Restaurant Piccadilly @ Millennium Square, Petaling Jaya

Hello folks,

A day after I came back from Bali, we are in search for food hunt already. On a lovely and HOT sunny Saturday afternoon, ME and Alan had a tough time deciding what to eat. Then I asked my brother Alan to decide and finally a restaurant that came into his mind. He said this restaurant is pretty cheap and you can enjoy lots of nice food including Japanese, Indian, Chinese, Malay, Western etc. So, without any hesitation, I quickly drive over there and here we go!

Finally we arrived at this restaurant. Introducing the Piccadilly Restaurant here located at the Millenium Square at Section 14 in Petaling Jaya. It was a pretty big and cozy restaurant and my brother told me that at night especially weekends, this place will be packed with people as they came here mainly to catch the English Premier League games LIVE broadcast. It was a new and yet happening place to yumcha! But ME & Alan went in the afternoon which we could only see very less people and only a few tables occupied. Once we sat down, we were given the menu and guess what, the menu is very special in design indeed. Decorated with the English Premier League football logo which is my favourite together in red color. Inside the menu, there were lots of food served and I have a tough time deciding on what to eat. After spending almost 10 minutes, I finally found out what to dine in.

Alan ordered Mutton Nasi Briyani with Ice Kacang (ABC) meanwhile I have ordered Grilled Chicken with Mushroom Sauce served with Ice Kacang (ABC) as well (see pictures). The ABC Ice Kacang which came first and the design was awesome. The moment I saw the Ice Kacang, I would love to try it already and once I put it into my mouth, it was so delicious and yummy. It was a good kick start to our food we ordered. For Alan's Mutton Nasi Briyani, it was so delicious and nice. The curry was very 'RED' and nice to consume. The rice is also pretty soft and delicious. Alan was very satisfied with the food and then say that he would come back again to try other food next time. For my Grilled Chicken with Mushroom Sauce, the design wasn't that attractive but still I vowed the food will be nice and there it goes! The grilled chicken was so tasty and delicious as well. Every drop and every pieces that goes into my mouth, it was marvellous and tasty! While I am writing this blog, I can still sense the taste! Haha! :)

Alan & ME would totally recommended the dish that we've ordered and you should come and try it out! I can 100% guarantee you that you will not regret it and you will love it very much and perhaps will make it a 2nd visit again. The price was reasonable and not expensive. The Mutton Nasi Briyani costs about RM8.90 and the portion is rather big as well. The Grilled Chicken with Mushroom Sauce meanwhile costs about RM11.90 and the portion is just average and the vegetables and fries are a bit less. The Ice Kacang (ABC) was a must ordered and it's part of the mouth watering dishes before you go for the main course. It costs RM3.00 only. The total bill came and it's about RM29.00 plus tax and I would say 'VALUE FOR MONEY' once again. I would love and definately to come back again for the food and the price. Totally Recommended! MY RATING: 5/5 ; ALAN RATING: 5/5

*Rating is based on the food and drinks we ordered and not overall food.

BALI TRIP: Overview Trip Day 4

Today is the last day of our trip here in Bali and we are scheduled to leave Bali at 1.55pm. We woke up at 8.00am and then had our breakfast at about 9.00am. After having our hot buffet breakfast, we decided to take some photos at the hotel compound as after staying 4 days here, we don't really have time to look at our hotel design and walk around the hotel. So today we would like to spend some time on it. When we look at the hotel, the design was so unique just like the Bali Fusion feel and you will get to enjoy it. WINA HOLIDAY VILLA HOTEL OVERALL RATING: 5/5 ; CLEANLINESS: 3/5 ; ACCESSIBLE TO TOURIST HOTSPOT: 5/5 ; HOTEL STAR: 4 STAR HOTEL.

Then at about 10.00am, we had decided to walk out of our hotel and head towards the Kuta Beach. It just took us about 5 minutes walk to go out of the hotel and heading towards the beach. We also take this opportunity to take some pictures on the beach before heading home. Wina Holiday Villa also accessible to Jl. Pantai Kuta and within walking distance to the famous shopping heaven Jl. Legian.

We checked out at about 12 noon and then take a teksi to Ngurah Rai International Airport. We reach Kuala Lumpur at about 5.00pm.

BALI TRIP: Day 3 Places Of Interest

Itinerary Day 3:

Taman Ayun Temple : Royal Family Temple surrounded by big pond
Botanical Garden
Candi Kuning : Fruit ad flower Market
Bedugul : Ulun Danu Temple and lake Beratan
Tanah Lot Temple : beautiful ocean temple with fantastic sunset panorama

Today is the 2nd day and the last day of my tour here in Bali and it's a FULL DAY tour as well. Our tour guide, Mr. Gusti Ngurah Jelantik came and pick us up at about 9.00am. I am very excited to go to visit more places in Bali today as I look forward to some places of interest that I would like to visit.

The first stop is at the Taman Ayun Temple : Royal Family Temple surrounded by big pond. This place took us about 1 hour to reach the place from my hotel in Kuta. This place is huge and has a very nice scenery of a garden surrounded by a large pond in between it. It's situated in Mengwi. It was officially founded by the King of Mengwi. Inside the garden, there is also a temple which enable the people over there to do their prayers. It was a great place to take photos as the greenery of the garden gives us a good feel in the morning. There is also a tower where we need to climb some stairs where up the tower, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the whole garden and the temple over there. We spend almost 45 minutes over there taking photos and enjoy the scenery. A recommended place to visit. Entrance fees is IDR 6.000 per person.

Then we continue our journey to the Botanical Garden, which tooks about 30 minutes of our journey from Taman Ayun. The botanical garden is situated at the hill and the weather is so cooling and chilling as well. The temperature is between 18 - 24 degress of celcius. There you can actually choose to walk but it's recommended to take a car while you are touring the botanical garden because it's a very huge garden too. Our tour guide took us to look at 2 things inside the Botanical Garden. One of it is the Cactus & Orchid Farm situated at the Botanical Garden as well. Then we head towards the peak of the Botanical Garden where we can actually see the view of the Lake Beratan as well. Imagine it was a cooling weather and you can actually enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. How relaxing was it isn't it? This is what we call 'PARADISE'. A recommended place to go as well but you might spend less time there only to take photos. Entrance Fees is IDR 7.500 per person.

Our tour guide then introduced to us the fruits and flower market named the Candi Kuning. Candi Kuning sits at the top of the hill as well and is about 1KM from the Botanical Garden. There, you can see many stalls selling fruits and flowers as well. You can purchase them and it's totally fresh from farm. For ME, I bought myself Advocado fruit for my aunty meanwhile Kimmy bought Advocado and prunes for her family. The price meanwhile was slighly expensive but please consider that some fruits you will get to buy here in Malaysia. E.G. 1KG of Advocado (4-5 pcs) costs about IDR 10.000. Normally if you follow the tour guide, the tour guide will bring you here. A recommended place for shopping for flowers & fruits.

Then we continue our journey to the peak of Bedugul : Ulun Danu Temple and Lake Beratan. This place is like a heaven as it's one of the most popular and most beautiful lake and temple at the peak of the hill. Surrounded by Lake Beratan, this temple is floated in Lake Beratan and also you can see a lot of mist in between the hills because of the weather there is very cooling and chill. The amazing view makes me wanna stay there longer and we spend almost 1 hour there. We took a lot of photos of the amazing view and Kimmy & ME started to enjoy the view over there. One word AMAZING! Entrance Fees is IDR 10.000 per person.

We had our lunch later on and then head towards the last journey in our itinerary which is the Tanah Lot. It took us about 1 hour 10 minutes to reach there from Bedugul. This temple is also one of the most beautiful and famous among tourist to visit and it is also famous for its Sunset view as well. Then we spend almost 1 hour 20 minutes there to take photos and to shopping for souvenirs. The Tanah Lot temple is one of the temple that can be accessible but it depends on the level of the sea waters. If you go during evening time (4pm - 6pm) then you will able to walk to the other side of the temple because of it's shallow waters which was surrounded by the sea. We manage to walk over to the temple and take some photos and enjoy the amazing view of the Tanah Lot temple. This temple is also a must visit temple and it's included in the tour guide already if you subscribe to it. Entrance Fees is IDR 10.000 per person.

Then our tour guide send us back to hotel about 6.45pm and then we rest a while in the hotel. Then we continue our journey by walking / exploring ourselves along Jalan Pantai Kuta. We had dinner at the food court over there and then we took some photos at the Hard Rock Cafe in Bali. Then we continue our walking journey heading towards Legian Street as well and then we head towards back towards our hotel at 10.45pm.
