Synopsis:

From Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Peter Jackson comes “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,” the first of two films adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien. The second film will be “The Hobbit: There and Back Again.”Both films are set in Middle-earth 60 years before “The Lord of the Rings,” which Jackson and his filmmaking team brought to the big screen in the blockbuster trilogy that culminated with the Oscar®-winning “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.” The adventure follows the journey of title character Bilbo Baggins, who is swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from the fearsome dragon Smaug. Approached out of the blue by the wizard Gandalf the Grey, Bilbo finds himself joining a company of thirteen dwarves led by the legendary warrior, Thorin Oakenshield. Their journey will take them into the Wild; through treacherous lands swarming with Goblins and Orcs, deadly Wargs and Giant Spiders, Shapeshifters and Sorcerers. Although their goal lies to the East and the wastelands of the Lonely Mountain first they must escape the goblin tunnels, where Bilbo meets the creature that will change his life forever…Gollum. Here, alone with Gollum, on the shores of an underground lake, the unassuming Bilbo Baggins not only discovers depths of guile and courage that surprise even him, he also gains possession of Gollum’s “precious” ring that holds unexpected and useful qualities … A simple, gold ring that is tied to the fate of all Middle-earth in ways Bilbo cannot begin to know.

My Comments: Finally this movie had come to the big screens and I have been waiting for such a long time and today is the day where ME & Kimmy had desperately go to watch this movie with exceptionally high expectations towards this movie. We watched this movie at GSC Tropicana City Mall in Petaling Jaya. I've booked this movie earlier and I can't wait to watch seriously. After watching this movie, it was absolutely stunning and lovely movie to catch of all time. My high expectations turned out to be a reality this time. Peter Jackson is truly the best ever director for this movie after having his successful Lord Of The Rings trilogy and now he has done it again. He is risen! The Hobbit set to being you another great adventure and the storyline is very well plotted and as usual the music are superb and lovely. The action and jokes are there equally a lot and throughout he 2 hour and 45 minutes movie, you will not get bored at all and the storyline makes you more eager to know what is going to happens next. The beautiful scenes that was shot at New Zealand also plays a bigger part in this movie, having now Peter Jackson is able to produce a much more better quality scenery and graphics as well. If you love Lord Of The Rings, you would simply love this one as well as the storyline is almost same as it is and it's a prequel. Among the actors and actresses that features before on Lord Of The Rings like Ian McKellen, Andy Serkis and others set to give you yet another great acts from them as well.  I have to bow down to Peter Jackson superior quality movie and I am totally speechless with what he have done with his powerful and brilliant masterpiece. I would again strongly recommend you to watch this movie no matter what and you will simply love it. MY RATING: 5/5 (PERFECT) ; KIMMY RATING: 5/5 (PERFECT)
