Dear All,
Welcome back to yet another edition of travel as we are now entering the second day of our trip at Port Dickson and in the same time we have also visited half day at Seremban to bring you the best of the best food at Seremban. Stay tuned at this edition here.
We woke up at 8.00am at Day 2 and we felt refreshed after that. Then we proceed to the hotel for our breakfast and then we walked around the hotel after that. We will be reviewing the Grand Lexis Hotel in my next post. We check out at 12 noon and then our first destination we heading towards the Selesa Beach. It has a breathtaking view of the sea and it's clean beaches as well. I can see many tourist or locals spend their weekend here by either swimming at the sea and some picnic at the beach itself.
Then we proceed to Muzium & Kota Lukut. About 7km from Port Dickson stands the Fort of Raja Jumaat, the 19th century Bugis warrior. The fort was built in 1847 to control the lucrative tin trade in the area. Today the muzzle loading guns used to defend the fort can be seen within the grounds of the District Officer’s residence and outside the Police Station in town. In the vicinity of the fort are also the remains of the foundation of an old palace and a royal burial ground. We reached there and there's no visitor visiting the place considering that we reached there at 1.00pm and the weather is very hot. However, we managed to visit one the museum there and then climb about 50 steps above the small hill to catch the breathtaking view of Lukut and Port Dickson. At the top of the small hill, you can actually see the remains of 2 well that was left behind as part of the history. There's nothing you can see there except the 2 separate wells. The museum was just average and not huge and you can spend about 10 minutes finish walking throughout the museum that explains the history of this fort and Raja Jumaat. I would recommend you to this place and remember to climb the steps to enjoy the nice view. MUZIUM & KOTA LUKUT RATING: 3/5
Then we proceed to Seremban to enjoy our lunch and then some desserts as well as to bring back some souvenirs to our friends and families. Firstly, we have visited Restoran Asia at Seremban. This shop is selling the most famous Curry Laksa in Seremban and many claimed to be the best around town. We reached there around 2.30pm and luckily the shop is still open and the most important part is that it's still available. We've ordered 2 bowl of Asia Laksa (RM3.50 each) (Small) and for drinks Kimmy ordered Chrysanthemum Tea (RM1.30) while I've ordered Barley Ice (RM1.30). It does not take very long for the Laksa to reach us although there's a lot of people in the restaurant that time. The Asia Laksa does not really suits my taste as it's salty and spicy though I prefer sweet and spicy. This is the first time I've tasted this flavour and I think it's pretty special as well. The portion is above average considering it's using a small bowl but rich in ingredient and at least I can feel that my stomach is full. The Chrysanthemum and Barley Ice is nice too. Overall, the price is very reasonable (the price is more cheaper than the ones in Klang Valley) and I would recommend you to come and try it. Never try never know right. RESTORAN ASIA CURRY LAKSA RATING: 4/5 (Not Halal)

Then we proceed to have our desserts and this time around we have selected the best cendol in the town of Seremban. Introducing Haji Shariff Cendol shop located at the town and guess what, this restaurant is super packed when we arrive about 3.30pm. It was claimed as the best cendol in town and you gotta try it. There are lots of varieties to choose from ranging from Cendol Biasa to Cendol Kacang, Pulut, Jagung, Campur & Bandung and many more. The price ranging from RM1.30 to RM2.00 per bowl. The price is reasonable and not expensive though. We have to queue (self service) to order. I've ordered the Cendol Kacang (RM1.70) while Kimmy ordered Cendol Biasa (RM1.30). The cendol kacang was super delicious and nice too and it's best consume on a hot weather. While the Cendol Biasa also nice if you'd preferred a simple meal. I would strongly recommend you to come over here to try out the cendol. Best in Seremban town. HAJI SHARIFF CENDOL RATING: 5/5

Then lastly before we end our trip, we then proceed to buy some souvenirs for our friends and families. We have selected the famous Seremban Siew Pow and it's located at the Seremban town itself as well. Introducing the Siew Pow Master (Kedai Siew Pau Asia) where you can find delicious Siew Pow here and many claimed it's the best in Seremban town and the recommendation comes from my brother Alan Leow. We've ordered a total of 40 siew pow (RM1.30 each) for our friends and families and the siew pow has 2 different flavours which is either the chicken or pork. I've tried both of it and the siew pow is simply marvelous and tasty. The price is reasonable as well and it's not expensive. If it happens that you're in Seremban and would like to buy some Siew Pow, then I would strongly recommend you this shop. SIEW POW MASTER RATING: 5/5 (Not Halal)
That's the end of our trip and as at 5.00pm, we left Seremban town and head towards Kuala Lumpur and that wraps up our simple yet enjoyable journey from Kuala Lumpur to Port Dickson to Seremban and then head back to Kuala Lumpur.
