Welcome back to yet another edtion of Food Hunt and today ME & Kimmy had decided for a late dessert as we both just had steamboat just now and it's time now to take some desserts that would cool down our body temperature. We had chosen New Zealand Natural Premium Ice Cream located at Desa Parkcity, Kepong. We reached the restaurant at around 9.00pm and the crowd is pretty less until it reaches 9.30pm where the crowd started to build up slowly.
We've ordered a double scoop Ice Cream (RM11.90) including tax and we have chosen 2 flavours as well which is the Mango Sorbet (99% fat-free, cholesterol-free and non-dairy luscious mango sorbet, made with real mango) and Mint Choc Kisses. Both flavors are very tasty and rich in taste. The best comes from the Mint Choc Kisses where is rich in mint and chocolate taste and it does not dissapoints. A glass of water will be serve upon dining there as well. Although the thickness of the ice cream is not as much as Baskin Robbins but I can feel that New Zealand Natural Ice Cream is low fat and not made with a lot of cream if compared to Baskin Robbins. Furthermore, if you put in your mouth, it does not feel like a Premium Ice Cream where it's easily melt in your mouth if compared to Baskin Robbins. But that does not matter as it was not too sweet and the taste is just nice. After finishing the 2 scoop of Ice Cream, then we take away a Regular Tube (RM24.90) of Ice Cream. This time we have chosen Forest Berry and Mint Chocolate Chip as well to be brought back to Kimmy's Family. The Forest Berry is nice as well and rich in boysenberries, strawberries, blackberries and blackcurrants. It's a mix of 97% fat-free, frozen yoghurt.
We pay RM36.80 for 2 scoops of Ice Cream plus a Regular Tube Ice Cream Take Away Pack and I guess once in a while it's fine to try these premium desserts as well. The price is quite expensive but overall you will get to enjoy the nice Ice Cream Flavor Taste and you'll simply love it especially the kids. Furthermore, New Zealand Natural serves a Low Fat Ice Creams if compared to Baskin Robbins and it's more healthy although Baskin Robbins is slightly better than New Zealand Natural in terms of the richness in cream overall. But if you love less sweet, then New Zealand Natural is more suitable for you. It's up to you to choose and I guess by taking both, you can balance up your diet too. Hehe! Enjoy!
