Synopsis:

My Comments: Today, ME & Kimmy had planned to go and catch an Easter movie that will entertain us throughout the dull working weekdays. This is actually what we both need as we need something to cheer us up and this movie promises to be the best laugh out movie ever made in Hong Kong besides the Stephew Chow movies. We had decided to watch it at TGV in Kepong and the cinema is of course FULL. Overall, this movie was fantastic with a big applause given to this movie. By watching a 100 minute movie, I can assure you to laugh from the start till the end. The most attractive and always made you laugh out loud is Benz Hung and Sandra Ng who are really impressed in this movie. This movie which is directed by the most famous actor cum director Wong Jing, contains all the elements you need in this movie and any age can watch it as well as this can also be classified as a family movie too. You can see laughter (80%), love (10%) and of course action (10%) in this movie and this would be the BEST LAUGHTER ever movie I ever watch thus far for the Hong Kong movie. After the movie, the cinema crowd all clapped hands in full support on this movie as it was too fantastic to say. NO MATTER WHAT! You should go and watch this movie as I can promise you surely had a good time laughing non-stop and you will feel worth on what you pay for. MY RATING: 5/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 5/5

World News: If You Were a Billionaire for Five Hours

When Paul Fischer checked his bank account Friday night, he had a happy surprise. His balance had exploded to $88,888,888,888.88. A very lucky number indeed, and close to $89 billion. Of course, the balance was a technical error by SunTrust Bank (NYSE: STI), which quickly fixed the problem. It also may have occurred in other accounts.

"You say, 'Eighty-eight billion, what can I do with that?'" said Mr. Fischer, who owns a jewelry concessionaire for Florida theme parks. "Maybe a handful of us could have brought down SunTrust Bank." Mr. Fischer had other ideas as well. Before the problem was fixed, he asked a SunTrust rep if he could move the money to an interest-bearing account until it was reclaimed and donate the interest to charity. Total interest: more than $7.3 million. The bank said no. The money was stripped out of his account by Saturday morning.

"It's all gone. I'm poor again," he said. "I was a billionaire for five hours." This kind of bank error happens frequently. But Mr. Fischer raises an interesting question: What if, for five hours, you truly did have $89 billion? What would you do with the money? My Comments: Imagine this incident also happening in the United States. Tell yourself, if you have about 88 billion and not millions in your bank account and that's when you find out when you withdraw the money without you yourself deposit any moeny into the bank? Don't you feel happy about it? Well, if for me, I would be in happy shocked and I just realize I just had been a billionaire and guess what, with 88 billion, you can actually do a lot of things already. Just resign from your work and then just concentrate with the investment or even you can take over a business to lead and you are much richer from now on. Well, lucky you Mr. Fisher for for at least holding the money for at least 5 hours. How nice if I could be FOREVER! :)

Festival: Happy Easter Day

The real means of celebrating Easter day is to celebrates the resurrection of Jesus. According to Christian scripture, Jesus was ressurected from the dead on the third day after his crucifixion. Some Christians celebrate this resurrection on Easter Day or Easter Sunday (also Resurrection Day or Resurrection Sunday), two days after Good Friday and three days after Maundy Thursday. The chronology of his death and resurrection is variously interpreted to be between AD 26 and AD 36. Easter also refers to the season of the church year called Eastertide or the Easter Season. Traditionally the Easter Season lasted for the forty days from Easter Day until Ascention Day but now officially lasts for the fifty days until Pentecost. The first week of the Easter Season is known as Easter Week or the Octave Of Easter. Easter also marks the end of Lent, a season of fasting, prayer, and penance.

The celebration will be fulfilled with church services, festive family meals, easter eggs and gifts hunt. So if you are celebrating it, enjoy yourselves and of course this is a day of the remembrance of Jesus Christ as well.

My Comments: Today I am in 1 Utama after so long I didn't go for shopping and catch a movie. Since I come back from Bali, I had a very busy weekend with my work as well as some obstacles that blocked me from doing this. This weekend, finally I have a time to do this and it was amazing. Today, ME & Kimmy had chosen this movie Just Another Pandora's Box as our selection at GSC 1 Utama. For your information, this cinema had catch a small fire this Thursday and luckily it was small and just hit the glitters cafe. Let's begin with the comments on this movie. One word, RIDICULOUS! This is what I would like to describe bout this movie. This movie is not logic at all but what I want to admit is that it combines a lot of previous Chinese Movies just for example, Red Cliff, Kung Fu Hustle, Painted Skin, Kung Fu Panda, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, and even The Matrix. With a lot of famous actor and actress acting in it, this movie has of course some laughter for you to enjoy. The most interesting actor in this movie is of course Ronald Cheng where he played a bigger role in this laughter as he is expert in it. I would not so recommended you to watch this movie because the storyline just sucks and as you know not logic at all and ridiculous but the laughter could save some points for this movie. But for some people, they love such movies as it was just entertaining as it would not so bored. MY RATING: 3.5 / 5 ; KIMMY RATING: 3/5

Gathering & Food: Chan Chan Yong Tau Foo Restaurant, Bandar Manjarala

Welcome back to yet another edition of a gathering and of course food hunt in Bandar Manjarala in Kepong. This time around, to celebrate Jason Ng who came back to Malaysia for his work and permanent stay here in Kuala Lumpur.

This time, our selection of food would be Yong Tau Foo. We had chosen Chan Chan Yong Tau Foo Restaurant located at Bandar Manjarala. Once we sat down, we have ordered a lot of Yong Tau Foo and of course we manage to finish it. We've ordered 66 pieces of Yong Tau Foo as well as a plate of meat and a curry pork as well (see pictures). The overall dishes is average only and nothing really attractive as well. The food is just normal to consume and nothing's special too except the Yong Tau Foo, which is pretty nice as the Tau Foo skin is pretty nice to eat when you put into your mouth. That time we arrived at about 7.30pm and the restaurant is pretty crowded as well.

We had 8 members joining tonight including Sai Kit, Chloe, ME, Kimmy, Yen Peng, Jason Ng, Stanley and May Low who joined in tonight's gathering. Special thanks to our beloved organizer Yen Peng, who had organized such a wonderful event too. If you would like to try for Yong Tau Foo, I would say this restaurant is not so recommended instead you should try other restaurant such as those restaurants in Ampang where you can enjoy more quality food. Leisure: Maxis Broadband with New 7.2Mbps Huawei E1762 Modem

Welcome back folks,

It's time to introduce yet another gadgets for your leisure. Introducing the Maxis Broadband which comes with a free modem (22nd March - 30th April 2010). This time, Maxis introduced it's latest modem with is the Huawei Mobile Broadband Model: E1762. This modem can supports up to 7.2Mbps and you can sign up at the promotional price now. I've subscribe to it and try out the speed. Out of my expectation, the modem performed perfectly where I can get 2MB above at my residents here in Kelana Jaya. Previously by using my own modem (up to 3.6Mbps only), I can only go up to 1Mbps only. The speed was awesome and it just took me approximately 2 minutes to load the full video (MV). Attached is also a screenshot that I take from speedtest.net website and it was brilliant to say.

If you haven't sign up, you can do so now as what I can see is that the Maxis Broadband service had improved a lot but I think it still depends on your location. If you are unsure, make sure you ask your friends who stay within that area first on how the connection would be like. For me, I would rate Maxis Broadband 5 stars. Worth a try! Better connection than streamyx. MY RATING: 5/5

The IPHONE 3GS is finally in my hands! Maxis is offering discounts up to RM200 for the IPhone value and it's worth taking it now. For instance, they will be coming out with the IPhone 4G pretty soon (to be announced later). So without hesitation, I have bought it and it was a very cool phone.

Do check out the maxis website for the latest promotions on the IPhone. People say Iphone is a among the powerful communication tools in the world. I have to agree this until I've tried it. It was an amazing phone. What impress me is the application on the IPhone. You can download them via ITunes Store with either a small fee or FREE of charge. Besides, the graphics was totally amazing with it's simplified 3D when you are playing the 3D games with crystal clear graphics. The touch screen was impresssive too. Although the SMS keypad is pretty tough to press as I have always made mistakes while typing it, but still the IPhone was very smart and impressive too. The sensitivity of the touch screen meanwhile was good and accurate.

I love my IPhone so much as it was an all-in-one tools for me no matter where am I. I can facebook, twitter, play games, listen to IPOD music, listen to online radio as well as check my e-mail and online wherever I am. If you would like to own one, you may do so and I will guarantee you, you will kiss it until its toes. Who knows! A COOL PHONE WITH IMPRESSIVE FUNCTIONS AND GRAPHICS. MY RATING: 5/5
