Food Hunt: Face To Face Noodle House (面对面), Kepong, Kuala Lumpur

Hi All,

Welcome back to yet another edition of Food Hunt and this time around we bring you to yet another famous franchise restaurant in the Klang Valley where it had been established quite a long time ago. Introducing the Face To Face Noodle House situated at Kepong, Kuala Lumpur and this is one of the franchise as it has a lots of outlets. Since we are near to Kepong today, we have decided to try out this outlet.

Spicy Pan Mee (RM6.30)
We reached the restaurant at around 2.00pm and it was crowded but still there are places for us to sit. Since today is weekend, many had taken the opportunity to dine in at this restaurant with friends and families. We browse through the menu and this is what we've ordered:

1.) Chef's Special Pan Mee (Soup) (RM6.30)
2.) House Specialty Pan Mee (Soup) (RM6.30)
3.) Life-Cultivation Tea (Cold) (RM6.60) (RM3.30 per cup)

Despite the restaurant is crowded, we have to wait for quite some time before the food arrives. It's not very long though and we are satisfied with the waiting time as well despite we are hungry. I've ordered the Chef's Special Pan Mee (Soup) while Kimmy ordered House Specialty Pan Mee (Soup). The Chef Special Pan Mee (Soup) is best and nice to eat. It contains fish balls and pork lard where it's crunchy and you can chew on it while eating together with the Pan Mee. The soup is just nice and nothing special about it. The thick mee that I've ordered is nice and overall this bowl of Chef's Special Pan Mee is good and should be in your list when you visit Face To Face Noodle House. For the House Specialty Pan Mee (Soup), Kimmy said that it's just normal and nothing so special about it. The soup is quite clear and just average only. It contains an egg with yolk and some ikan bilis. The Chef Special Pan Mee is a much more recommended choice than the House Specialty Pan Mee. Lastly is our drinks where we ordered the healthy Life-Cultivation Tea where it contains Red Dates, 'Kei Chi' and Ginseng and it helps to cool your body. Best of it, this drink is so refreshing and nice too. It's super recommended to order this drink.

Chef's Special Pan Mee (Soup) (RM6.30)
House Specialty Pan Mee (Soup) (RM6.30)
The price meanwhile is not expensive based on the portion we get and the portion is not big though and it's reasonable for us to pay for the price. Our total bill is around RM19.20 without any service nor government tax. If you're here, do also look forward into trying another Pan Mee specialty here including the famous Spicy Pan Mee where this is their signature dish over here. This Spicy Pan Mee (Dry Version) requires you to mix together with the chilli flakes into the Pan Mee and mix together and you can feel the spiciness when you eat it but you will feel the satisfaction into maximum level. Enjoy your meal and happy trying! Enjoy your meal. MY RATING: 5/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 4/5
