Lim has always been unlucky. He is struggling to make
ends meet until he chanced upon the 'Wordless Script' one day and won
the lottery! As the winning was only marginal, it was soon exhausted
when he spent it with Nam and Hui, his two poor roommates cum colleagues
who excavate bones from old graves for a living.
Unwilling to return to his poor days, Lim approaches the 'Wordless
Script' for winning numbers again. This time, the Book-Spirit of the
"Wordless Script" forewarns Lim that he will have to pay a heavy price,
should he wants big winnings. Blinded by greed, Lim agrees to the terms
and strikes a deal with the Book-Spirit.
As Lim's life gets better and lavish, he also becomes increasingly
dependent on the Book-Spirit, seeking its advice in everything. Soon,
the Book-Spirit reveals the price which Lim has to pay for all his
riches... and Lim will have to pay with his life!
It is only with Lim's death, that he can be the next Book-Spirit, thus
liberating the current Book-Spirit. Little does Lim expects: the richer
he gets, the closer he is to his death.
At the same time, the greedy gambler in Nam is playing with fire... To
satisfy his gambling addiction, he resorted to stealing the accompanying
valuables in the coffin during one of the excavations, despite strong
objections from Hui.
Following Nam's theft, strange things happened. A vengeful spirit haunts
Nam and Hui repeatedly, causing them much distress...
The trio of Lim, Nam and Hui can actually lead a decent and peaceful
life, but made decisions at various stages of their lives to pursue
riches and luxuries without knowing the heavy price they had to pay.
Is there really no way for the trio to redeem themselves from this mess?
Or is their death the ultimate solution?

My Comments: Today ME & Kimmy had visited Kepong Village Mall purposely to watch movie nearby without needing to go far places. We have selected MBO Cinemas to watch this movie. It's a mixture of Malaysian, Singaporean and Taiwanese artist who acted in this movie and overall it's pretty satisfying. This movie initially talk about the typical Chinese believe ghost story and it's supposed to be very scary but this movie turns out to be more into a comedy. Most of the scenes here will make your laugh and the jokes are pretty nice too. If you are into those exotic or scary ghost movies, this movie is not suitable for you. There are some scenes which makes you scary but still it's not scary enough. I hope you know what I mean. Featuring the experience Singaporean actor Henry Thia, this guy is really a fun comedian and his jokes is really hilarious. For Taiwanese host, Kang Kang and Nono, they are also one of the actors inside this movie and they are rather funny too. If you do see their host on TV, they are also famous in making jokes in front of its audiences. And last but not least our Malaysian Brendan Yuen and he's also one of the funny comedians if you see TV Series Ah Beng on Astro. A perfect blend of actors and it would be a very funny movie to catch and you could forget about the scary scene on this movie. The storyline is well documented and the ghost inside this movie includes the famous Singaporean Mark Lee that makes you laugh too. A big improvement on the jokes but still it's not scary enough. I would still recommend you to watch this movie and have a great laugh! MY RATING: 4/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 4/5

Food Hunt: Sushi King, Kepong Village Mall, Kepong
Hello All,
Welcome back to yet another edition of Food Hunt and once again ME & Kimmy are on yet another hunt for nice food. This restaurant that I'm going to introduce to you has nothing so surprising and it's called Sushi King. I visited this newly opened branch located at Kepong Village Mall to try out their food over here.
Cheese Tobiko (RM4.00) |
Cheese Tobiko & Tuna Mayo (RM3.00) |
Ebikko (RM4.00), Smoked Salmon (RM4.00), Spicy Maki (RM3.00) |
Overall, the food served here is nice but I would like to say the main course Oyako Don is nice and juicy and you should try it. It's wrapped with egg accompanied by pieces of chicken and some onions that would really satisfied your taste buds. You should try this one. For other sushi's, the taste is good but the only thing that is really negative is the rice where it's too soft and it's not so nice and the taste is not up to the standard. But when the rice is eaten together with a different variety of sushi's (e.g. Ebikko) then the taste is still good.
Oyako Don (RM11.90) |

Food Hunt: Restoran Hometown Steamboat (好家乡火锅世家), Bandar Manjarala
Dear All,
Welcome back to yet another edition of Food Hunt and we continued our journey here with fabulous food journey around the Klang Valley. We have found this steamboat restaurant and it's a newly open steamboat outlet here in Bandar Manjarala. Introducing the Hometown Steamboat (好家乡火锅世家) Restaurant where ME & Kimmy had visited last night. It was so packed as early as 6.30pm in the evening and we have to wait to be seated although we only need to wait for about 10 minutes before we're being served. We sat in front of the entrance of the restaurant and since it was so packed, it was very hot and then we eat in front of the patrons who are waiting for their seats and it's very pressured as well. My message to you is do not select the seats near to the entrance of the restaurant.
We browse through the menu and then we found out there's a lot of food selection to choose from and my another advice to you is do come in groups as you can eventually try a lot of food besides their signature steamboat meal. Their servings of food includes steamboat, different types of fish with different flavours, ice-cream fondue, fruits fondue, vegetables and many more. We've ordered the normal set (RM15.50 per person) as our entry try as we wanted to test on their freshness of the food as well the soups. For soups, we've ordered the 'ching tong' & tom yam soup. There are several steamboat set for you to choose from and the price ranging is between RM15.00 to RM17.00 and you can choose the normal steamboat set, seafood etc. For drinks, I've ordered Coca Cola (RM2.50) while Kimmy ordered the Sea Coconut drink (RM2.50). It does not take very long for the food to arrive and let's go straight to the food reviews.
The steamboat ingredients looks fresh and to be frank the portion is big.We ordered set for 2 persons and then it looks like it can cater at least 3 persons to be exact. The soup meanwhile is just average. If we do the simple comparison with Tai Tao and Happy City Steamboat, this steamboat is below par as these two. The 'ching tong' soup is just normal and nothing special while the Tom Yam is lack to sweet and sourness but it's very heavy taste of spiciness.
Ice Cream / Fruits Fondue |
The price meanwhile is reasonable and it's not expensive and what I can say is pretty cheap based on the big portion we've got. We pay RM36.00 for all including drinks and this is without any government or service charge tax. Unfortunately the soup is just average but still acceptable. The freshness of the seafood ingredients is acceptable too. Despite with some pro and cons reviews, I would still recommend you to come over here to try out the steamboat set over here and not forgetting, if you come in groups, do give us some feedback on other food you tried as well. I have to admit you can just try limited food with 2 persons just like us who went to try today. Enjoy! MY RATING: 3/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 3/5

Food Hunt: Four Seasons London Restaurant, Empire Shopping Gallery, Subang
Dear All,
Welcome back to yet another edition of Food Hunt and today ME & my office colleagues were talking about great food as we already reached Friday and we would like to treat ourselves to a wonderful meal. We have chosen the Four Season's London Restaurant located at Empire Shopping Gallery at Subang Jaya and they claimed that they have the best roasted duck in United Kingdom.
We reached the restaurant at around 12.45pm and the restaurant is very crowded and we need to queue. Luckily for us as we only needed to wait for about 10 minutes before we were shown the seats. We then browse through the menu and then we have decided to order a combination of 3 dishes (excluding rice and mee) and there are a few choices to choose from. The combination orders includes a variety of choices including roasted duck, roasted chicken, roasted pork, 'char siew'. You can also ordered either mee or rice and eat together with the dishes. You do have another option where you can order a set of mee of rice together with the 1,2 or 3 combinations as an individual set.
Since we have 3 persons, we've ordered the combination of 3 dishes (roasted chicken, roasted duck and roasted pork) (RM33.00) and 2 white rice (RM2.00 each) and a wantan mee (RM5.50). The person who only ordered drinks is me as I ordered the Chinese Tea (RM2.00). It does not take very long for the food to arrive although the whole restaurant is occupied (approximately 30 tables). The portion is just average and not big and we would say it's not really enough or suitable for 3 people to eat. The best tastes comes from the roasted duck where once we put it inside the mouth, you can taste the duck flavor that will melt inside your mouth. The second best would come from the roasted chicken as it was good too and the last comes from the roasted pork where it's not so crunchy and it just tastes normal. The wantan mee is just normal and nothing much to shout about.
To conclude the price is really crazy and it's not really worth to eat. I would say for a plate of 3 combinations to roasted pork, chicken and duck for RM33.00, I rather eat outside those famous stalls which will just costs RM10.00 cheaper and the portion is definitely going to be huge than this one. The duck is nice but I would like to conclude that there are more restaurants out there that are much more nicer than this one. A bowl of rice costs RM2.00 as well as the plain wantan mee costs about RM5.50 is simply ridiculous and the most shocking, the Chinese Tea costs about RM2.00 with such a small cup. Our bill came and it costs us about RM44.10 for 3 persons and I think it's way too expensive with the quantity we get as well as the quality we get as well. I would not recommend you to come over here to try out the duck as there's nothing so special about it and the price is very high and not worth it. Remember, eat smart and not eat rich! Food Hunt: Fish & Co. , 1 Utama Shopping Center, Petaling Jaya
Dear All,
Welcome back to yet another edition of Food Hunt where ME & Kimmy had visited 1 Utama Shopping Center to shop, watch movie and of course to enjoy dinner inside the mall. For our dinner today, we've tried out the Fish & Co. where we had tried it a few weeks back at Paradigm Mall. After the meal at Paradigm Mall, we are tempted and would love to try it again and this time at 1 Utama Shopping Center.
We reached the restaurant at around 7.00pm and the crowd had started to filled the restaurant but it's still some empty seats. We were immediately shown our seats and the customer service is good. We were then served with the menu and then we browse through the menu and we were seeing it for about 10 minutes again. We have decided to try out the same dishes but with different flavors this time. I've ordered the Afrika Fish & Chips (RM15.95) with an add-on of Soup Of The Day (Cream Mushroom Soup) + Drinks (Kola Tonic) (RM7.50). My Comments: Today ME & Kimmy had visited GSC 1 Utama to catch Ice Age 4: Continental Drift and it's one of ours most favourite movie of all time that includes the previous Ice Age chapter and will be hilarious jokes and great adventure on this movie goes on just like the previous episodes? Stay tuned for the movie reviews.
This movie is simply awesome and it's just as good as the previous Ice Age chapters. In the 4th Episode of Ice Age which features the theme Continental Drift drives it's audiences into yet another great adventure where the elephants (Manny and the family) was separated from a massive earthquake destruction that destroys the island. In order for them to reunite, they need to overcome a group of pirates which attacks them before they can be reunited. This is with the help of Sid & Diego in this movie which promised an action packed comedy movie with full of laughter. The characters that is really funny and created the most jokes is actually Sid and his grandma which I would say many audiences at the cinema hall laugh out loud and the jokes is simply awesome. If you watch this movie in 3D, I can feel it's pretty awesome too as there's many close up camera which allows you to feel the 3D effects too. Both of us watch this in 2D format which I would say awesome too.

Food Hunt: Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream, Damansara Utama
Hello All,
Happy Weekend to all of you! Hope you guys are having fun once again. We are back again for yet another edition of Food Hunt. Today we will bring you for some desserts where ME & Kimmy had this weekend. On a hot Sunday afternoon, what can you think off actually to cool yourselves down? Of course, it's Ice-Cream time where both of us in search of Baskin Robbins Ice Cream. Speaking of this name, many of you would have try it and some might have not and let us give you a chance to listen to what we have to say about the Baskin Robbins Ice Cream.
We reached the Damansara Utama branch at about 4.00pm Sunday and there's no people in the restaurant and it was so empty. Wondering where have they been? Anyway, we reached the restaurant and immediately choose our size of the ice cream. We have chosen Double Scoop Junior (RM9.50) (2.5 OZ). It contains 2 scoops of Ice Cream where you can choose up to 20 flavours of your choices. Amazing isn't it. You can choose from the famous Chocolate, Vanilla to fruits flavour as well such as Mango etc. We have chosen 2 flavours which is the Mint and Chocolate Chips. Also we've added toppings which is the Color Rice into our Ice-Cream and it costs another additional charges of RM1.20.
The presentation is marvelous and surely it looks super tempting. By looking at the Ice-Cream, you would want to try it at no time. The Mint and the Chocolate Chips are super amazing and super nice. It's rich in flavour and you will find it quite hard to dip because it has a rich creamy ice cream flavour that would melts into your mouth. Plus if add the Color Rice into the Ice-Cream, it tastes more great and lovely too. You should try these both flavours as it's nice and lovely. We really enjoy the Ice-Cream accompanied by the great air-conditioned shop in a hot weather.
The price meanwhile for me and Kimmy is quite expensive but the ice-cream says it all. It's the premium ice-cream with rich creamy taste and for the price you pay, I think it's totally worth the price. We have paid for RM11.35 that includes the 6% government service tax. No need to say much, I would strongly recommended you to come over to any of the Baskin Robbins branch to try out their ice-cream flavours as well and feedback to me. Definitely one thing I wanted to say about Baskin Robbins Ice-Cream; tasty with no regrets! Enjoy your Ice-Cream. MY RATING: 5/5 (PERFECT); KIMMY RATING: 5/5 (PERFECT)
