Food Hunt: Jeti Seafood Restaurant, Pasir Penambang, Kuala Selangor

Dear All,

Welcome back to yet another edition of Food Hunt where ME & Kimmy and the whole family had actually planned for an outing today and of course to go there for seafood feast. So, we've decided to check in Kuala Selangor as our destination today as Kimmy's Family and ME went there for a walk and then for food in conjunction with Kimmy's mother birthday. Of course, we also visited Bukit Malawati and right after that, we've headed straight over to Pasir Penambang for a seafood dinner. Can't wait for that actually.

We have chosen Jeti Seafood Restaurant located at the end of the road as you drive in the fishing village and this restaurant was fully packed even we reach there around 6.30pm. The tables are almost fully occupied but however we manage to pick a nice seat for ourselves and we manage to sat just beside the river and the view was simply breathtaking. We can enjoy our dinner and in the same time enjoy our beautiful view as well. Let's see what we've ordered. We've ordered the Oyster Omelet (Hor Jian), Sweet Crab, 3 Big King Vegetables, a Vegetable (Nai Bak), Assam Fish and a plate of 'Mantou'. The dishes we ordered seems delicious and suits our taste as well. The portion we ordered is medium size which can cater 5 person. It takes about 10 minutes for the food to arrive and I would say it's fast anyway.

Sweet Sauce Crab

Let's see the food comments straight away. The Oyster Omelet (Hor Jian) is nice as well as the sauce too. It's sweet and tasty and the oyster is pretty fresh as well. The sweet crab was pretty nice as well but I am not a big fan of crabs so I did not eat much. It's fresh and the there's plenty of flesh as well on those crabs. The 3 Big King Vegetables is very good as it's cooked together with Belacan and it's spicy too. A must try dish when you visit this restaurant. The Nai Bak Vegetables are pretty normal and nothing much to brag about. The Assam Fish meanwhile is fresh where we ordered the Pomfret fish and it's very fresh. The Assam sauce was very nice to drink as the sweet and sour is just nice. Another recommended dish to order. Last but not least is the Mantou (Bun). The bun is tasty and hot and it's best served with the crab sweet sauce. You are advised to eat it together as it will definitely satisfy you taste buds.

The price is not too expensive considering the amount of food we've ordered. For 5 medium dishes plus a bun meal, it costs us about RM125.00. I think it's pretty reasonable as we get to eat seafood and most importantly the dishes prepared are overall nice to eat. What a meal to end a beautiful Sunday evening. I would recommend you to come over to Jeti Seafood Restaurant to try out the food over here as it would be delicious to eat. Enjoy! MY RATING: 5/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 5/5
