My Comments: Finally the long awaited Transformers movie are in town once again and this time we have chosen GSC Tropicana City Mall as our destination to catch Transformers movie. This is the 4th installment where the previous installment was just fine and nothing so special about it except it's action packed. This time around Age Of Extinction is the 4th installment episode and will it be the same as the 3rd or better?  Is Micheal Bay running out of ideas or he manage to create something special on the 4th installment? Let's see.

The answer is almost the same. This movie is action packed and it's rich in robots fighting between the Autobots and Decepticons. The storyline meanwhile is a bit crappy and it's not so attractive as per 3rd installment. If you watch in 3D then this is definitely the movie for you as it contains a lot of close ups scenes that would blown your mind off. The Autobots and Decepticons are all vanished from the scenes until scientist start studying the making of them to rule the world. But then the scientist made a mistake and then everything turned into a chaos where the Autobots have to revive and then to save human kind again. The battle between Autobots and Decepticons continues and it was an explosive approximately 2 hours plus of action packed scenes and you will simply love it too. Will Decepticons defeated and continue to the next installment? You must checked it out at cinemas near you. I would still recommend you to watch this movie with your whole family and kids would love this one but the storyline is a bit difficult for them to understand. It's been a great pleasure that finally my birthday has arrived. This year is my third year entering the 30's so I am getting older and older by now. Well, my career had been absolutely stable and great this year and in the same time we are getting married this year. And my investments had been absolutely pleasant and I am very happy with it. I am very happy to receive those messages and I gladly hope that you feel the same too where I wish all of you prosperous in your health and wealth too. Do not give up and try to overcome from failures and vowed to do better than that as life goes on. Once again, I would like to thank my special Kimmy Chung for supporting me throughout this years and I love you so much as finally our marriage is this year and we are looking forward to it. My previous fuel choice would be BHPetrol and it claimed to be one of the best fuel in Malaysia and to compare with the new Primax 95 fuel, Primax is slightly below par if compared with BHPetrol. In terms of mileage, it recorded almost the same between these 2 fuels but power wise BHPetrol are more powerful when entering straight roads but Primax performed better when it goes up hill. My Comments: Today ME & Kimmy were at TGV 1 Utama for shopping and in the same time to catch a movie of our choice as well. We have chosen Maleficent as our choice and let's go straight to the movie preview. Maleficent is a great story which talk about adventure and fantasy and with a strong cast like Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning and Sam Riley, this movie is set to bring you some great adventure with good storyline with some outstanding graphics and good moral value of the story. It started off slowly but then it lasted for about 15 minutes and later than that, the movie started to build up and it's becoming more interesting. At almost the end of the movie, movie goers may be in tears as there are touching scenes which really makes you cry too. This movie is just like a remake version of Alice In Wonderland but I guess this one is as good as Alice In Wonderland. This movie is very suitable to watch by all walks of life but of course kids would enjoy this more. If you have not watch this movie, do catch it at the nearest cinema near you and I guess you will love it. Enjoy! MY RATING: 5/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 5/5

Food Hunt: Taste Of Italy Set, Pizza Hut

Welcome back to yet another edition of Food Hunt and today ME & Kimmy had planned for a special outing to try out the latest pizza hut menu that was being introduced recently. It's called the Taste Of Italy. This pizza can be ordered via ala-carte or by set. This is what we've ordered:

It's just nice for 2 persons based on this set and there's one more set and that's called the Ultimate Course which can be served up to 4 persons.  The choices of Pizza that we have chosen includes the Romano Chicken Pizza. The choices of Italy Pasta that we have chosen would be Pesto Chicken Spaghetti. I would say the whole meal had been very satisfying and we do enjoy the pizza there as well. The Romano Chicken Pizza is a must try as the portion is just nice and the taste was nice and tasty. The Romano Chicken Pizza contains chicken roll florets, chicken toppings, Italian Cheese, red capsicum, yellow onion, tomato pizza sauce, spinach and garlic and it will definitely makes you drool. The Pesto Chicken Spaghetti meanwhile is also a must try where it's nice and tasty too. The Pasta is then green in color and it contains Pesto Sauce Spaghetti, tender chicken, cherry tomatoes, roasted onions, chopped garlic, red capsicum, chilli flakes and chopped parsley.

 The Italian Bruschetta is also a must try as the bread is very nice especially when you dip into the salsa tomato sauce. It contains cheesy garlic bread, twin sauce: tangy tomato sauce & pesto sauce and it's served with tomato salsa. It was a fantastic and satisfying meal for both of us and we vowed to try other flavors when we visited Pizza Hut again. There's an option to add RM2 for the Soup-Of-The-Day but we did not ordered. I guess worth a try as well.

Food Hunt: Chilli Pan Mee, Bandar Manjarala

Welcome back to yet another edition of Food Hunt and today ME & Kimmy had visited Chilli Pan Mee situated at Bandar Manjarala to try out their famous Chilli Pan Mee over there. We have not tried before and therefore would like to give it a try.

We reached the restaurant around 2.00pm and there are still plenty of places for us to sit. The seats are divided into 2 which is the air-conditioned and non air-conditioned. We manage to get an air-conditioned seats and then we were then served by a friendly staff over there. We browse through the menu and then have wide selection of the Pan Mee besides its famous Chilli Pan Mee such as Black Pepper, ABC Soup, Braised Pan Mee to name a few etc. This is what we've ordered:

2.) Curry Chicken Pan Mee (RM7.00) (Big)
3.) Luncheon Meat (RM4.00) (2 pieces)

We waited for about 10 minutes and finally the food arrive. The Luncheon Meat came first and we have our very first taste of the luncheon meat. It's super and absolutely tasty and you should order this when you dine in this restaurant. The portion of the luncheon meat is average size. Meanwhile the Chilli Pan Mee arrives next and according to Kimmy, she said that it's tasty and the pan mee is really springy and nice to eat too. The Curry Chicken Pan Mee is the one I've ordered and I love the taste too as it's very tasty as well. For drinks, the taste is normal and nothing much to shout about.

The price is very reasonable and cheap too and total bill is RM20.70. We get to eat lots of food and we pay a cheap price as well. The servings is pretty average and just nice too. Most importantly is that the food we've ordered is nice and tasty. Both of us would strongly recommend you to come over here to try out their Pan Mee and hope you'll enjoy the food here as well. Official Synopsis

The year of 2009 seems very ordinary, but in fact marks a crucial moment when two melancholy souls pull themselves together and start anew.
Through her news coverage related to a fire, TV reporter YU CHOR-KIN (Priscilla Wong), who lost her father in a car accident earlier, recalls her own grievous loss.  On the same day, when regretting she is not able to see her father again, she encounters glass artist LOK TIN-SUNG (Raymond Wong), who just lost his sister in the fire.  They wander on the streets, accompanying each other silently to spend the whole night.  Not wanting to have another regret, she borrows TIN-SUNG’s mobile phone to leave her suitor CHEUNG YAT-HEI (Tony Hung) a voice mail, which is “Miss you”……

CHOR-KIN changes her job to be a marketing manager for the chocolate business.  Having spent four years together with YAT-HEI, she notices that she has been further estranged from him.  They eventually break up as a result of mutual suspicion and jealousies.
In the meantime, CHOR-KIN re-encounters TIN-SUNG as her mother YU LO OI-LAM (Rebecca Chan) becomes his daughter’s babysitter.  Due to TIN-SUNG’s daughter, the two start communicating via text messages.  Ever since then, consolation and encouragement regarding work, family and love have been on and off sending through their mobile app.  Love turns out to be destined in their lifetime……MY RATING: 5/5

My Comments: Today ME & Kimmy had a planned outing to catch this mouth watering epic action adventure movie called Godzilla. We catch this movie at TGV 1 Utama today. This movie talks about the battle between giant Godzilla and M.U.T.O ("Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organism") where MUTO is actually a parasitic kaiju which is a multi legged monster. M.U.T.O. are actively drawn to sources of man-made radiation and to survive they need to eat the radiation. This movie actually talk about the battle of monsters and to show how the awe-inspiring Godzilla rises to restore balance as humanity stands defenseless. 

 

The graphics in this movie are superb and wonderful and if you watch this in 3D, then probably it's very suspense as well. The storyline is pretty simple and straight to the point and in my opinion, it's suitable for the kids to watch. It's not boring and you would like to find out what's going on and the battle continues but of course do not compare with Pacific Rim which Pacific Rim has more action compared to this one. From director Gareth Edwards, he has shown great enthusiasm to ensure that this movie does not only fight between human and monsters but monsters to monsters at least to make it real and to show that humanity could not overcome those mighty monsters in reality. 

 

Overall, it was a great suspense and action packed movie to catch for the whole family and I would recommend you to watch this movie. It's not boring from the start till the end of the movie. It's would be not the best but at least it's above average for the whole family. Enjoy! MY RATING: 4/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 4/5 

 

 

Food Hunt: Uncle Jang Korean Restaurant, Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya

Welcome back to yet another edition of Food Hunt and today ME & Kimmy had visited another Korean Restaurant to try out the 'fry in a pan' style Korean food. I've tried this once at Kota Kemuning but then I've decided to bring Kimmy to try out the food but this time around, I've chosen Kota Damansara as our choice. We reached the restaurant at about 7.30pm and it was not so crowded. There are plenty of seats available for us to select and once we sat down, we were shown the menu.

There's only 1 selection that you can choose over here and that's the Dak-Galbi. What is Dak-Galbi? Dak-Galbi is a Korean 'fry in a pan' style with the mixture of fresh chicken chop, cabbage, sweet potato and rice cake that was then mixed together with the Korean Spicy Sauce and then it was fried into perfection at the huge pan located at each and every table. This is my 2nd and Kimmy's 1st time dining in a Uncle Jang. This is what we've ordered.

1.) Dak-Galbi Normal (RM19.00 per person) X 2
2.) Fried Rice (RM6.00)

The waiter then brings in the ingredients to be fried at the pan. It took him about 5-10 minutes to complete the whole cooking and frying process until it's hotly served. We ordered a 2 person portion and it's just nice for us to eat. After every ingredients is mixed and fried into perfection, it's time to eat. It was nice and tasty and this branch is better than the ones in Kota Kemuning in my opinion because it's less spicy. You will be given a few free tidbits such as fresh vegetables (to wrap together with the Dak-Galbi), Kimchi and a few slices of Onions. It's Free Of Charge. Please be noted that different branches offered different drinks where at this Kota Damansara Branch, they do offered free Cold Water but in Kota Kemuning they do not offer this service.

Kimmy and I enjoyed the Dak-Galbi but then Kimmy did complained as the Normal Flavour is very spicy and she cannot eat too much. Imagine if you ordered the Extra Spicy and you will get burned seriously. Be careful :) In my opinion, if it's too spicy, it will spoil the taste of the food. We've also ordered an additional dish which is the Fried Rice. When you finish almost 70% of the ingredients on the pan, then they will start to fry the rice together with the ingredients and when you eat together with the rice, it's more delicious and taste very good indeed. Remember, the rice is ordered separately with an additional charge. For more information, kindly take a look at the photos.

The price we pay is around RM46.65 (including a 6% Service Charge). For me I think the price is reasonable if the food price is nice. I have to admit the ingredients given is pretty cheap and they charge us very expensive but at least the food quality is there and you might not know that they imported some of the stuffs from Korea. Nice food with reasonable price is OK for me. I would recommend you to come over and try out this Dak-Galbi if you have not and enjoy a brand new experience of Korean Food. Enjoy!
