Leisure: Sunway Pyramid Chinese New Year Decorations 2014

Welcome back to yet another edition of our very first Chinese New Year Decorations 2014. This year is the year of the Horse and we hope that all of you have a great year ahead. We kicked off our mall marathon to Sunway Pyramid once again. The theme for this year Chinese New Year would be "The Herald Of Spring". It will start on the 4th of January to 2nd of February 2014.

This year theme would be a very classic theme where it features the nomads from the classic tribes. It has a nomads house setup as well as horses being displayed around the mall and you can of course ride the horse by just taking photos. The horse will not move but only for photo purposes. There's a nomad house on the new-wing area where visitors can step into the tent and then take photos inside or if you wish to allow the professional photographer to take it for you, a small fee applies together with the nomad costumes as well.

On the old wing portion, there's not much that you can see except a horse and some flowers displayed and the attention had been diverted to the new wing instead. I would recommend you to come over here and enjoy the beautiful decorations setup here at Sunway Pyramid with a classic Chinese New Year feel as well. Food Hunt: Nasi Lemak Selera Jaya 223,Petaling Jaya Selangor.

Welcome back to yet another edition of Food Hunt. Today my brother Alan had brought me to yet another great place for great food of course. This place did exist for quite a few years already but I could not find the great place for food until Alan introduced. It's situated around the factory area that lays a food court and this place is swarming especially at night and during wee hours as well. Introducing the food court named Selera Jaya 223 and here lies the very very famous Nasi Lemak stall which serves you 24 hours non stop. You can imagine how great and hardworking the stall owner where it opens 24 hours with different shifts. Also this food court is packed with people which many of them came non-stop to the food court to try out the Nasi Lemak.

At night, each patrons who came to this food court will definitely try out their Nasi Lemak which comes with 2 different color of chops at the packets. The blue chop Nasi Lemak packets represents a sweeter sambal, hot and fresh from oven rice that comes with a half cut egg. The taste was absolutely great and tasty and I love the taste. Meanwhile the red chop Nasi Lemak packets represents a more spicy sambal with some Ikan Bilis with a fragrance rice. Imagine, a lot of people at their respective blogs did say that you must come and try out their Nasi Lemak and I've tried out and I have consume 4 packets to satisfy my cravings. Alan & ME are very satisfied and happy with out Nasi Lemak meal and we vowed to come back again for more. Oh yeah! The Nasi Lemak stall name is call Suri Nasi Lemak Panas (Blue Color Chop) and Yati Nasi Lemak Panas (Red Color Chop) if you asked me. There's a slogan for their Nasi Lemak Stall which is "Bawa Bertenang. Nikmati Nasi Lemak Sedap di sini!".

Each Nasi Lemak packets cost about RM1.50 and for me I think it's around this price is reasonable considering the operation costs and their effort to open 24 hours for you to come and eat anytime. I would strongly recommend you to come over here to try out their Nasi Lemak which is one of the best of the best in Petaling Jaya. Enjoy! MY RATING: 5/5 (PERFECT) ; ALAN RATING: 5/5 (PERFECT).

Synopsis:

Following the breakdown of his marriage to SUNG TSAU-PO (Miki Yeung), waiter PAU CHI-TAI (Bosco Wong) has to take up the parental responsibility on his own. In order to take better care of his son, he has been changing his job constantly until his roommates SO SICK (Koo Ming Wa) and YAM KA-CHING (Vincent Wong) recommended him to work in a Café.  Unexpectedly, he encountered three troublesome female Café owners with intricate relationships, which has completely altered his life ever since.   MA SZ-NGA (Michelle Yim) is BEAN KWAI-CHI’s (Eliza Sam) biological mother, and her late ex-husband left them and his second wife SO MEI (Nancy Wu) the ownership of the Café.  Boasting her position as the person in charge in all respects, SZ-NGA bribes CHI-TAI and makes him the informant in secret in an attempt to have a solid grasp of what’s going on with everyone.  In the meantime, she also cultivates him to become a Barista.  After seeing that CHI-TAI is willing to meet any hardship for the sake of his son, KWAI-CHI, who once disliked him, has now grown fond of him, and even offers to help take care of his son.  Having learned that, SZ-NGA strongly disapproves of them being together, fearing that her wish of her daughter becoming a doctor will bite the dust.  Not wanting KWAI-CHI to follow in her own footsteps, SO MEI surprisingly joins forces with SZ-NGA, interrupting them with high-handed approaches. Welcome back to the first ever post for the year 2014 and we've visited a brand new mall that opens its doors in the Klang Valley yet again. This time around, we traveled to Subang and to One City located at USJ25 at Subang nearby Putra Heights.

The theme for One City would be "The Ever Happening City" which symbolizes the all in one city which consists of Garden and Skypark Concept Mall. It's still developing (as of press time) and it's 50% completed and it's schedule to be completed by half quarter of 2014.

This mall is an open concept mall where it's like a hotel style mall where it houses a huge hotel as well as shopping mall, offices, eateries, cinema and fitness center.  It's called the Skypark @ OneCity where it has 10 floors in total and from the ground to the 3rd floor would be shopping mall which from the 4th to the 9th floor would be offices and last but not least the 10th floor would be a place for you to eat and enjoy the fascinating view from the mall to areas like Puchong and Shah Alam.

I would strongly recommend you to come and visit this mall considering they are adapting a green concept and a open air mall but still there are areas which is covered by air-conditioned as well. There's a lot of things for you to shop ranging from Taiwan, Japanese and Korean fashion as well as Asian and Western Food served at the mall as well and you will never get bored trying out lots of varieties of food. Festival: Happy New Year 2014

Hello folks,

"Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And auld lang syne!". I kicked off my wishes to all of you with this wonderful lyrics taken from the song Auld Lang Syne. It was a meaningful song as we say goodbye to the year 2013 in bizarre fashion. Of course, many good or bad things happened this year as we should look forward and hoping for a more better fortune during the year of 2014.
