Leisure: U Mobile Broadband & Postpaid Plans
Hi All,
Welcome back to yet another edition of yet another introduction of some cool broadband and postpaid by U Mobile. Our last posting is regarding the U Mobile Prepaid and this time around I would like to introduce to you 2 services offered by U Mobile. I am not paid for introducing this plan for you guys but eventually I have try it for myself on my iPhone, iPad and by using their broadband and the review is below.
U Mobile had been very consistent is delivering its broadband service and the stability of this service is getting better and better. Previously we do get many customer complaints about the data always down and sometimes unable to receive or call out but now it seems everything is seems in track. U Mobile broadband speed had been extremely good so far with my area in Kelana Jaya and my workplace in Shah Alam clocking between 1Mbps to 3Mbps. If you're in the 4G LTE area, I've tested with my iPad mini which I can get around 5Mbps to 7Mbps speed. I am totally impressed by the speed particularly there's less people using it and in the same time the coverage around the Klang Valley, Ipoh, Penang, Melaka and Johor Bahru are equally good and the best part is you can roam with Maxis 3G if you are out of the coverage area. Just make sure the Data Roaming is on.
It's postpaid plan is very good indeed. It's a free data that comes with free calls and SMS depending on what plan you took. If you take U28, you will get 1GB Free Data and 300 Free SMS, U58 you will get 300 minutes free and 2GB of Data while U88 will enable you to use 3GB Data and free 300 SMS and 300 minutes calls. Where can you find such a good plan? I bet you will not at the moment where U Mobile has it all to offer. For the broadband, there are 3 package for you to choose from including the MB40, 2GB Data ; MB68, 5GB Data and MB128, 20GB Data. Once you use over you data allowance, your speed will be capped to 64kbps only.
So far all my gadget baby are on U Mobile as I have terminated by Digi and Maxis line. U Mobile gives me the best and affordable rates and one of the best in town and I will never regret taking it at the moment based on the coverage and speed they offer. Only 1 thing that they are still quite badly would be their customer service hotline where many complained that it hardly can go through and some need to wait for about an hour before their calls being picked up. Maybe they should improve on this as well. Their U Mobile Center is very limited and it's not convenient unless you stay around Petaling Jaya where there are about 4 Outlets there itself.
Last but not least, I would strongly recommend you to try out U Mobile Broadband and their Postpaid Package if you are seeking for a telco provider (new and existing) and you feel frustrated using other provider such as Digi, Maxis & Celcom. It's cheap and coverage is good too and the best part is if you are out of coverage area, Maxis will takeover where U Mobile will roam with Maxis so you can stay connected wherever you are. To know more, kindly check out their website stated below. Enjoy! MY RATING: 5/5

My Comments: It was a great day today as ME & Kimmy had a great day out again windows shopping as after 2 weeks we have rested at home. Today we found our mood to walk and in the same time to catch a movie of our choice. We have chosen this new movie called Oblivion. This is a truly action, adventurous and fantasy typed of movie and with the big stars of Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman, this movie set to be one of the greatest movie of the quarter of 2013 ever watched. Directed by the former director of Tron Legacy, Joseph Kosinki, this movie talks about a guy (Tom Cruise) where he is then controlled by an alien and the alien uses him to defeat the human earth. After that Tom Cruise found out that he's been betrayed by the aliens and he needs to find a way to get out of this and seek revenge. There's not much action in this movie but you as an audience must do a lot of thinking in this movie instead. There's a lot of mystery that needs you to resolve as the movie goes along. It has no jokes at all in this movie and I can assure that you will be fully concentrating on this movie based on the storyline.
It was a great movie to watch and it's not suitable for the kids as this is too hard to understand. You need to think and observe every moment on this movie in order for you to find a solution on this movie on why this incident happened. The storyline is near to perfection and it has almost the same strategy as what the movie Inception has to offer. You will be amazed after you've finished watching the movie and give a big clap on this movie. A great recommendation from me & Kimmy towards this movie and if you love a movie liked Inception and Tron Legacy, this movie is just for you. Enjoy! MY RATING: 5/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 5/5 (PERFECT)

Politics: Nomination day throws up many shockers
PETALING JAYA: Nominations have ended with several unexpected twists, paving the way for an unpredictable election campaign. The first shock came after it was announced that two DAP members had been sacked from the party for contesting as independent candidates.
In Cheras, incumbent Teratai state assemblyman Jenice Lee was sacked by the DAP disciplinary board for fielding as an independent and has been given 14 days to make an appeal. Similarly in Malacca, the parliamentary seat of Kota Melaka has been left in an odd conundrum when its incumbent MP Sim Tong Him, who is contesting there under the DAP banner, was sacked for fielding himself as an independent in the Kota Laksamana state seat. Sources said Sim would continue to run in Kota Melaka as a DAP candidate despite being thrown out as the Election Commission (EC) has yet to receive an official letter from the party on the matter.
Umno also sacked former Agriculture and Agro-based Industries deputy minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shariff Omar from the party for contesting as an independent in the Tasek Gelugor parliamentary seat in Penang. It is understood that Mohd Shariff is contesting as a Pakatan-friendly independent in Tasek Gelugor and also the Sungai Dua state seat. Another shocker was when Barisan Nasional candidate for the Pasir Mas parliamentary seat Che Johan Che Pa did not to submit his nomination papers in Kelantan, paving way for a straight fight between Perkasa president Datuk Ibrahim Ali and Nik Aziz's son, Nik Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz. Kelantan Barisan Nasional told reporters that it would launch a probe into why Che Johan failed to sumbit his papers and on its next strategy for the seat. The day also saw numerous unexpected independent candidates joining the fray in some seats. In Ipoh, the Kuala Kangsar parliamentary seat will see a three-cornered fight with Umno Wanita deputy chairman Datuk Kamilia Ibrahim joining the fray as an independent. She has since announced she was resigning from Umno.
She is set to clash with Barisan's Datuk Wan Mohammad Khairil Anuar Wan Ahmad and PAS' Dr Khalil Idham Lim Abdullah. In Kuala Lumpur, PKR's Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim will face a four-way fight for the Bandar Tun Razak parliamentary seat against Barisan's Tan Kok Eng, with two independent candidates (Mohd Sukeri Abdul Mamat and Mokhtar Salahudin) joining the fray. In Pandan, Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat's former private secretary Allan Tan Yew Leng will contest as an independent for the parliamentary seat against MCA's Garry Lim and PKR's Rafizi Ramli. There will be a five-way tussle for the Batu seat with incumbent MP Tian Chua of PKR facing off with Barisan's Dr Dominic Lau Hoe Chai and three independent candidates which are Atan Jasin, Nazariah Abbas and Datuk Hashim Karim from Berjasa. The Machang Bubuk state seat in Bukit Mertajam which will see an epic six-cornered fight between Gerakan's Tan Lok Heah, PKR Lee Khai Loon, Kita “Datuk” Dr Vicky Vikneswaran, and three other independents - Datuk Tan Hock Leong, Wan Balkis Wan Abdullah and Ooi Suan Hoe.
Meanwhile, tension between PKR and PAS allies emerged over a few seats. PKR is fielding Badrul Hisham Shaharin or Chegu Bard for the Sungai Acheh state seat despite Penang PAS picking its Youth chief Mohd Yusni Mat Piah who claimed it was originally a PAS seat that was “loaned” to PKR in the 2008 polls. Chegu Bard will take on PAS Youth chairman Mohd Yusni Mat Piah and incumbent assemblyman Datuk Mahmud Zakaria from Barisan. Labuan will also see a three-way fight with PKR joining the fray by fielding Tan Sri Ibrahim Menudin who will clash against its PAS ally Hadnan Mohamad and Umno fresh face Rosman Isli. In Terengganu, PAS broke ranks by fielding three candidates in state seats which were originally meant to be a straight fight between ally PKR and Barisan. PAS is fielding Adam Mat Said to go against PKR's Mohamad Abdul Ghani Ibrahim and Barisan's Mohd Mahdi Musa in Kota Putera. In Bukit Besi, Roslan Ismail will run as the PAS candidate against PKR's Mohd Shamsul Mat Amin and Barisan's Roslee Daud. For the Seberang Pakir state seat, PAS' Zakaria Dagang is in a three-way fight with the incumbent Datuk Ahmad Razif Abdul Razak of Barisan and PKR's Ahmad Nazri Mohd Yusof. All seats were previously won by Barisan candidates. Source: The Star Malaysia 20/4/2013

Politics: Polls on May 5, EC announces
PUTRAJAYA: Polling for the 13th general election is on May 5 while nomination of candidates is on April 20. This was announced by Election Commission chairman Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak dissolved Parliament on Wednesday April 3, paving the way for the 13th general election. The EC said all 222 parliamentary and 505 state seats will be decided on the same day.
Voters in Sarawak will not elect a new state assembly, as the current state government still has three years of its mandate left after the polls in 2011. Earlier, the Election Commission began its meeting at 9.30am to finalise the polling and nomination dates for the 13th general election. The much-anticipated press conference was covered by scores of print and TV journalists who arrived as early as 8.30am. After a photo-shoot, the reporters waited at the media centre. They returned at 12.15pm for the press conference at which the dates were announced. Source: The Star Malaysia
