Food Hunt: Wolfgang Cafe (大野狼西餐), Kepong

Dear All,

Welcome back to yet another edition of Food Hunt. Today ME & Kimmy had celebrated our Christmas Day in bizarre fashion. This time around, we had planned for a Western Food selection and we had chosen a brand new cafe that was opened recently at Kepong. Introducing the Wolfgang Cafe in Kepong. The name itself tells me about a German Restaurant but eventually when I reach there, it's a 100% fully owned Chinese boss. We reach the restaurant at about 8.00pm and we were told to wait about 45 minutes before the food arrives because the restaurant is packed.

We have decided to wait and then we browse through the menu. There's no picture / photos for us to see except the menu full of wordings only. Anyway, this is what we've ordered:

1.) Wolfgang's Chicken Chop (RM15.50)
2.) Wolfgang's Pork Rib (RM26.80)
3.) Apple Orange Juice (Large) (RM9.00)

Yes, we did wait for about 45 minutes and finally the food arrives. The portion of the food and drinks are really huge and then it's really worth the money we pay for. For your information, you can choose certain sauce of your choice including Black Pepper, Mushroom or Red Sauce). The Wolfgang's Chicken Chop (Choice of Sauce: Black Pepper) portion is huge and worth of every money we pay. It's delicious where the chicken is fresh and the sauce is awesome. For the Wolfang's Pork Rib (Choice Of Sauce: Mushroom Sauce) portion is also huge and it's worth the buck we pay too. It's super delicious and the pork meat is very tender and juicy too together with the mushroom sauce and it's was super amazing! Yummy! Finally the Apple Orange Juice in large portion is also very nice and fresh. The combination of both apple and orange is nice and perfectly suited.

In churches, people celebrate Christmas by singing Christmas Carols and exchanging gifts among each others. They also wishes each other Merry Christmas & GOD Bless You! The atmosphere in churches was electrifying too as they usher or countdown for Christmas in a peaceful and joyful manner with a group of choir singing, leading the crowd at the church to sing along to usher the celebration. They also prayed for peace and happiness among their families, countries and the world too as they are too many crisis going on.

Overall, Christmas is a time to share and care among ourselves and to gather together with friends and families to chit chat among ourselves. Remember to take care of yourselves during this festive season and don't forget to be extra careful when you are on the road. Happy Holidays!

Leisure: 1 Utama Christmas Decorations 2013

Dear All,

Welcome back to yet another edition of the Christmas Decorations 2013 mall marathon and today ME & Kimmy had visited 1 Utama Shopping Centre as our 2nd last stop perhaps before counting down for Christmas in approximately 1 week plus. The theme for this year Christmas would be "It's Christmas...Believe!". This time around the Christmas Decorations are rather simple and nothing much can be seen. The hot air balloons are of the theme of this year Christmas Decorations where you can actually see about 4 huge air balloons hanged on top of the mall at the New Wing Concourse Area.

I would say the decorations this year is rather simple and I can see very less Christmas Trees in the mall too. The band presentation would be held at the middle of the concourse area with no barriers attached and you can take photos with those presenters as well and see them perform closely. I would still recommend you to come over here to experience the never seen before air balloons theme Christmas Decorations. Enjoy! MY RATING: 3/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 3/5

Food Hunt: Pontian Wanton Noodles House (笨珍云吞面), Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur

Dear All,

Welcome back to yet another edition of Food Hunt. Me & Kimmy had initially visited Berjaya Times Square as part of our Christmas Decorations review and today it's crowded although it's a working day in Kuala Lumpur and a Holiday at the Selangor state. We hang out there and in the same time doing some windows shopping over there. This time around, we stopped by Pontian Wanton Noodles House to try out the famous Wanton Mee over there. We reached the restaurant at about 7.00pm and the crowd is pretty less considering the working day. This is what we've ordered:

1.) Pontian Wanton Noodle (Small) (Black Sauce + Chilli) (RM5.50)
2.) Pontian Wanton Noodle (Big) (Black Sauce + Chilli) (RM7.50)
3.) Sugar Cane With Water Chestnut (RM3.00)
4.) Coca-Cola (RM2.90)

Pontian Wanton Noodle (Black Sauce With Chilli)
It took about 8 minutes before the food arrive and it's pretty fast too. Firstly I taught that how can the Wanton Noodle so dry then after trying out I know why. It's a different style of cooking and I was amazed when I eat it. The noodle is so tender and juicy too with the spiciness added to the noodle. It was so fabulous when I taste it and it's a different kind of experience when eating Wanton Noodle. I would highly recommend you this dish no matter you order Small, Medium or Big with only a RM1.00 difference. The big portion is really huge and it's just filling for a guy like me. The small portion suits the female. You may also choose different sauce that was offered by them on the menu but for my first time I've tried out the Black Sauce + Chilli and it does not disappoint. For drinks, the Sugar Cane with Water Chestnut is also very nice too. Worth of trying. They also sell Chinese Desserts (Tong Sui) and I've heard it's nice too.

Sugar Cane with Water Chestnut

The price we pay is around RM18.90 (without Government or Service Tax) and I think the price is pretty reasonable especially when you dine in a mall like this. I would say the food quality is good and recommended to you. Do come over and try out their food. For your information, they've also have some branches in the Klang Valley including SS2, Kepong and many more. Enjoy the food. MY RATING: 5/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 5/5

Leisure: Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Fahrenheit 88 & Berjaya Times Square Christmas Decorations 2013

Dear All,

Welcome back to yet another edition of Christmas Decorations and this year around we visited 3 malls in a row at the Golden Triangle to bring you the latest Christmas Decorations of all time. Let's go!

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

This year theme for Pavilion Kuala Lumpur would be "Christmas Wonders" featuring the White Christmas. It was so 'white' at the main concourse area with a huge white Christmas tree. Other than that a Sleigh can be seen as well as a merry-go-round where children can ride into it for a small fee. It was almost the same as previous years as the theme and decorations with not much changes. In fact, there's some LINE apps roadshow going on where you can actually take photos with the LINE bears at the main entrance and at the top floor of the mall. Overall, it's still the huge and colorful Christmas Decorations ever. Recommended to visit. MY RATING: 5/5

Fahrenheit 88 Kuala Lumpur

This year theme for Fahrenheit 88 would be "Give & Gifts" featuring the purple theme Christmas tree. At the main concourse area, you can not only see the purple Christmas Tree but also a small and tiny Santa Claus standing to greet you A Merry Christmas. The decorations are just as simple as the previous years and nothing much changed. Do drop by if you have time. MY RATING: 3/5

Berjaya Times Square

This year theme for Berjaya Times Square would be "Celebrate Christmas In Style" featuring a huge Christmas Tree stand tall in front of the mall entrance. It has red & gold in color. The Christmas Decorations only covered the nearby entrance and not the concourse area and it's just in a small portion. The decorations are just as simple as the previous years and nothing much changed. Do drop by if you have time. MY RATING: 2/5
