My Comments: Merry Christmas! It's Christmas Eve and ME & Kimmy had decided to go to GSC 1 Utama to catch the very new movie released today. It was a fully packed cinemas because most of the movie goers would take this opportunity to watch the movie of their choice including this movie The Treasure Hunter at night. Our movie time is at 10.15pm and the movie ended at about 12 midnight. Let's go straight to the movie comments. Before I watch this movie, I did have a very high expectations towards this movie and guess what it was pretty dissappointing as well. The action was moderate and the storyline was not fantastic at it seems because it was just a meaningless story when they wanted to look for the treasure city. Jay Chou acted pretty matured in this movie and he did shows his enthusiasm but in the way he was sometimes too 'cool' in this movie and over react. This is the first time that I've seen Lin Zhi Ling acted in the movie but still there's a lot of improvement need to be done. Her acting was seemingly not matured enough as well. The joker for this movie of course goes to Eric Tsang as he did a very good job in leading this movie with his outstanding jokes and I like him throughout the movie. Without him, the movie seems to look a bit dull. Overall, this movie I believe does not lived up to expectations and I would not recommend to you to watch it but if you have time or free time to be exact, you can try and watch this movie but do not give yourself too high expectations. Cheers & Merry Christmas. MY RATING: 3/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 2.5/5
