Food Hunt: Pizza Hut, Kepong

Good Evening folks,

After the first edition of the lunch hour food hunt, it's time now for the evening edition of the Food Hunt. We are back in action again where Kimmy & ME had decided to go to Pizza Hut in Kepong to try out the new flavours of Pizza. Of course, we had chosen Pizza Hut as our destination. We arrived at the restaurant at about 7.30pm from Cheras. That time, the restaurant was not so crowded as I believe many of them are still on leave as most of them left the city center following a long holiday break.

Once we sat down, we have to wait for about 5 minutes before the waiter came and serve us. It was rather a bad service from them as the manpower there is not enough that day and it will a bit ridiculous. Many people started to complaint as their service was very bad indeed. Even, we were one of the victims where once the food arrived, there's no culteries for us and I am wondering this could not happen. I have to personally go there and take myself and yet we have to pay for service tax as well! POOR!

We have put our order upon looking at the menu and of course we have ordered Extreme Cheesy Pizza Set 1 which consists of 1 Regular Extreme Cheesy 6 Pizza, 2 Soup Of The Day (Mushroom Soup), 1 Garlic Bread and 2 glasses of 7-Up Revive. And I did add additional toppings at the top of the cheese pizza which is the Chessy Pepperoni with an additional charge of RM2.00. Of course, there are many other choices as well for this combo as you need to log on to http://www.pizzahut.com.my/ to check it out. The pizza took about 20 minutes to arrive and it was totally unacceptable as well for the amount of people in the restaurant as it was not crowded. Overall, the pizza that we've ordered was nice as it contains a lot of cheese in it on top of the toppings as well. It was rather tasty and this is also another successful asset for Pizza Hut after the Prawn and Fish King Pizza which was introduced previously.

The price meanwhile costs us about RM28.00 (for the set that we've ordered) and RM2.00 additional charge for the toppings. Plus the tax, the bill came around RM34.50. The price was acceptable and not too expensive as the pizza was nice. It's worth paying with the food that we get and the Regular Pizza portion is quite big too. But the service that matters right here at Pizza Hut in Kepong as it was very POOR indeed. Don't worry. You can try this pizza at any of the outlets or branches near you as you do not necessary needed to come over to Kepong to have it. Do try out this Extreme Cheesy Pizza and I bet for cheesy lovers, you will love it to the max! Enjoy! MY RATING: 4/5 ; KIMMY RATING 4/5
