Food Hunt: Litre Tree Cafe, Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam

Welcome back to yet another Food Hunt that was specially prepared for you. Today is Friday and both of us (alexleow-kimmy) is not working and we have decided to go for yet another Food Hunt before going for yet another mall marathon.

We have cruised all the way from Kepong to Kota Kemuning in Shah Alam to look for good food and I have recommended this Litre Tree Cafe to Kimmy as I said the food pricing here is reasonable and the portion is huge as well. We reached the restaurant at around 12.45pm and the crowd is pretty less at that time and after it reaches around 1.00pm onwards, the crowd had started to thronged the restaurant and it's almost full house after that. We were then shown the menu by the waiter over there after we sat down.

Frankly speaking, the choices of food here is pretty less and you should try out their set lunch that was prepared. It's quite attractive regardless of the price as their set lunch price is inclusive of a drink as well. You save roughly RM3-RM5 for set lunch compared to the normal ones. As recommended, both of us had ordered the Rosemary Teriyaki Chicken (RM14.90) that is inclusive of a drinks. I've ordered Ice Peach Tea while Kimmy had ordered Hot Jasmine Tea (Dilmah brand).

The food did not actually take quite a long time to arrive and we have waited for about 10 minutes. Of course, the drinks came first before the food. The Rosemary Teriyaki Chicken is a must try here at this cafe because of it's taste and the portion. I am pretty amazed by the Teriyaki Sauce as it suits the fried chicken and it's very delicious. To add to its charm, the mashed potato that was served together with some slices of onions makes it much more tastier. The mashed potato is not too sweet and it's just suits the taste if eaten together with some slices of onions. The Ice Peach tea is also a must try at this Cafe as the fragrances of its tea is simply refreshing and nice. For the Hot Jasmine Tea, it's just normal according to Kimmy.

Rosemary Teriyaki Chicken (RM14.80)

The price is reasonable and I would say it's not too expensive. For the price of RM14.80 for a plate of Rosemary Teriyaki Chicken plus a drinks, the portion is huge (food) and the Ice Peach Tea is nice too. Out total price is RM29.60 nett. There's no service nor government tax being implemented here as well. I would definitely recommend you to come over to try out the food over here. Besides serving the Rosemary Chicken, there are several other choices to choose from including Spaghetti, Mini Pizza and Sandwiches as well. I've also tried other choices before such as Spaghetti and it's just nice and the portion is also so-so. They also served wine and coffee here as well.
