DVD Movie: Mr. Bean Holiday

Release Date: 24th August 2007
Genre: Comedy
Running Time: 1 Hour 29 Minutes
Director: Steve Bendelack
Cast: Rowan Atkinson, Emma de Caunes, Jean Rochefort, Antoine de Caunes

Synopsis:

In his latest misadventure, Mr. Bean (Rowan Atkinson) -- the nearly wordless misfit who seems to be followed by a trail of pratfalls and hijinks -- goes on holiday to the French Riviera and becomes ensnared in a European adventure of cinematic proportions.

Tired of the dreary, wet London weather, Bean packs up his suitcase and camcorder to head to Cannes for some sun on the beach. Ah... vacation. But his trip doesn't go as smoothly as he had hoped when the bumbling Bean falls face first into a series of mishaps and fortunate coincidences, far-fetched enough to make his own avant-garde film.

Wrongly thought to be both kidnapper and acclaimed filmmaker, he has some serious explaining to do after wreaking havoc across the French countryside and arriving at his vacation spot with a Romanian filmmaker's precocious son and an aspiring actress in tow. Will Bean be arrested by the gendarmes or end up winning the Palme d'Or?

My Comments: I watch this movie at Kimmy house on Wednesday night after dinner. Surprisingly, Me & Kimmy haven't watch this movie before and finally we get to catch the movie via DVD on Kimmy's newly bought DVD set and brand new 32" LCD TV. Overall, this movie is just for fun and laugh purposes. As you know, Mr. Bean is famous of its jokes and in this movie, he remained his casts and as usual he is doing his funny act as well. There are no big surprises to this movie as we could see some lame actions from Mr. Bean as seen on his short series. This story actually talks about Mr. Bean trip or vacation in France as he had to overcome some obstacles to save his dignity. Basically if you love Mr Bean movies, then this movie suits you very much and if you don't like, then I would not eloborate much. A fun movie to catch for the whole family while you are at home. Enjoy! MY RATING: 4/5 ; KIMMY RATING: 4/5
