Synopsis:
Randy (Louis Koo) has never been a fan of his family's casino business. This all change when one day he got a taste of Texas Hold 'Em Poker over the internet. It is a game of luck, skills and wits.Once Randy is deemed unfit to handle the conglomerate, Uno (Lau Ching Wan) can then fully assume the position and take over the business for himself.Uno gives Randy a chance at redemption - a winner-takes-all poker match between the two. As the last hand of cards is dealt to the two players, who is going to be the Poker King?

My Comments: Today me & Kimmy went to GSC 1 Utama yet again to watch movie. This time ME & Kimmy had decided to watch the movie named Poker King. The cinema was quite packed with people as this is a new movie as well. For so long time, Chinese movie never filmed for more than 2 hours but this movie had set yet another record with a 2 hours 2 minutes film. We have chosen Chinese movie today because this movie is quite interesting based on the preview. After watching this movie, the movie is not as good as expected but still you can laugh and enjoy the storyline as well. The storyline was well planned this time as it pretty meaningful as well and not those movie who likes to play-play around and not serious or meaningless. The main point of this movie is by showing who is the real poker king and indirectly teaches you how to play poker. There were jokes by 2 famous Chinese actor Lau Ching Wan and Louis Koo Tin Lok and this makes us laugh most of the time at the cinema. Both of the actor also acted very good in this movie and the presentation was pretty good as well. There are times that the movie became a bit boring but it is still acceptable. Overall the movie was above average and if you love jokes (laughter), poker and some love story, this is the movie to look for because it also touches on some love scenes.
